Service was excellent. Chips and salsa were very good, and they offered to refill. "Small" margaritas were huge. Everything we ordered was really tasty. I especially liked the addition of cilantro to the salad garnish. Spinach burrito was delicious (but pricey at $13.50!) Brother liked the surf & turf. Will be returning.

Best Mexican food I've had in a long time good stiff drinks and friendly staff. Food portions are huge and reasonably priced at about $20 a person including drinks. You won't leave hungry that I promise.

It s hard to like a Mexican restaurant when their chips and salsa are so completely terrible...and they are the worst here, with bland flavorless chips that don t seem fresh and have no salt, and watery salsa with too big of chunks in it. Also some of their other dishes are hit or miss. But the chimichanga or delicious and the rice and beans are good too. Also since the pandemic where we ve been getting to-go food, they do a GREAT job of packing everything in aluminum containers so everything tastes fresh and easy to eat. Also their enchiladas are good overall even though some of the meat options aren t great. So once you find dishes you like, this place is good.

Great place to go for Authentic dishes of yummy food. It has been the place to go since they removed Azteca at the Town Center mall. Great service and fun place to go for parties or happy hour.

This place is better than any we have tried in the area. They are consistantly the best by far. Try the Mole and the Chili Rellenos for sure. We also adopted Gladys, but she just doesn't know it yet....she is so sweet and takes amazing care.

*Very expensive Mexican food. Double what comparable restaurants would charge,, a bit shocking, but I guess the location is right for the folks with $-lol. Food quantities were on the large side but nothing taste wise to speak of. My wife and I both had stomach aches the rest of the day. Over priced stomach aches..We won't be back.

Really good food here. Portions are generous, too. I had the Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup) and a quesadilla. The soup was delicious and filled with chicken, fresh avocado, vegetables and tortilla strips. The quesadilla was just as generous with it's fillings. I washed it all down with a margarita. It was truly a delicious meal.

So it was ok. Solid but not out standing good service, friendly staff, salsa was good chips fresh. We will return but there is better out there. Oh and they said they had adobe marinated pork on the special board pretty sure they ment adobo and when i said something they thought it was funny. Worth a try but beware if the clay marinated pork.

I have been dining here since the mid 1990s. The owner, Jose, is a great guy that we enjoy visiting with when we are there. The food is not fancy but you get a lot for the price. You can afford to take the entire family. As prices are reasonable. I love the number 13 enchilada. My wife always gets the cangrejo enchilada, which is Spanish for crab. I wish they had a larger selection of draft beer. Only 3. The mix drink of choice is the consulla. Watch it because is it strong and tastes like Mexican koolaide.

Slow, slow, slow. We waited over an hour after the waitress took our order still no food we just left. Won't be going back. If I want Mexican food I'll just go to a food truck they tend to be better anyway.

My cousin's daughter and I ordered taco salads. She had chicken. I had ground beef. They didn't bother to drain the chicken. Her Taco bowl shell was swimming in liquid. Mine was tasteless and dry. Very little chopped tomato, mostly just lettuce and a tiny bit of cheese. No guacamole or sour cream with it. That was extra. They were the saddest excuse for a Taco salad I've ever seen.

Being a Mexican from Texas & living here going on 14 years, I'm extremely picky about my Mexican food & feel there aren't enough good places here like Texas.. La Costita fits into this tiny rare filled box of amazingness & when I eat here I feel like I'm home, it warms me up inside & fills my tummy up with pure joy & love! You really have to try this place! My favorite are their enchiladas with la costita sauce. They make some of the best rice besides myself & beans to go with it. Their salsa is the best in town. This is what I call real Mexican food.

Above average Mexican food. I've been eating here over a decade and it has stayed pretty consistently good. The salsa is great. I love the Chile relleno. Beans and rice are tasty. The carne asada is very good, but it sure has changed in price over the years; It was around $12, now over $20. However, it is enough for two light eaters, especially with endless chips and salsa.

Staff has been pretty consistently friendly over 10 years, they remember us even if we haven't come in for months. They can be busy, especially the weekend, but service still stays good.

The restaurant has always been kept quite clean.

Overall it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in this entire area.

This place has great food! They have huge portions at a very reasonable price. Once you get seated, you get lots of tortilla chips and salsa until the main course comes out. I moved into this area about a year ago and found this gem. My wife and I have become regulars. I highly recommend this place!

Sunnyside la costita. Pretty sure it was canned chicken in our quesadilla. My White Russian was all half and half ( asked for taquilla instead of vodka.. got Irish cream) they re did it with a smile. Service was decent. Guacamole was store bought? The tip calculator on the visa machine doubled the 20% tip I wanted to leave. I have had good food here, tonight was a bust.it is hit or miss.
