Always good food. Generous portions. Friendly, helpful staff.
Service was excellent. Chips and salsa were very good, and they offered to refill. "Small" margaritas were huge. Everything we ordered was really tasty. I especially liked the addition of cilantro to the salad garnish. Spinach burrito was delicious (but pricey at $13.50!) Brother liked the surf & turf. Will be returning.
Consistantly great cuisine. Get there for early dinner if you dont like it crowded.
Best Mexican food I've had in a long time good stiff drinks and friendly staff. Food portions are huge and reasonably priced at about $20 a person including drinks. You won't leave hungry that I promise.
It s hard to like a Mexican restaurant when their chips and salsa are so completely terrible...and they are the worst here, with bland flavorless chips that don t seem fresh and have no salt, and watery salsa with too big of chunks in it. Also some of their other dishes are hit or miss. But the chimichanga or delicious and the rice and beans are good too. Also since the pandemic where we ve been getting to-go food, they do a GREAT job of packing everything in aluminum containers so everything tastes fresh and easy to eat. Also their enchiladas are good overall even though some of the meat options aren t great. So once you find dishes you like, this place is good.
Meh, mostly boring, expensive Mexican food. A few unique dishes -- nopales is good. But overall, not worth the $
Great place to go for Authentic dishes of yummy food. It has been the place to go since they removed Azteca at the Town Center mall. Great service and fun place to go for parties or happy hour.
Great customer service, good food and FABULOUS Margaritas!! A favorite of my family that live in the area. I live south a couple of hours, but eat @ La Costita's when I get the opportunity.
Two (sets of two) words: Tijuana Tacos and Tortilla Soup
Absolutely wonderful hot food. A good menu, gigantic marghs, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place!
Authentic taste, friendly staff, yummy cheesy goodness!
Food, Service & MGMT is great!! Been going there for years. Highly recommended...
Super expensive, if I can get the same
For less price
This place is better than any we have tried in the area. They are consistantly the best by far. Try the Mole and the Chili Rellenos for sure. We also adopted Gladys, but she just doesn't know it yet....she is so sweet and takes amazing care.
The burrito was delicious and the service was good. It's a nice little place to grab a bite.
*Very expensive Mexican food. Double what comparable restaurants would charge,, a bit shocking, but I guess the location is right for the folks with $-lol. Food quantities were on the large side but nothing taste wise to speak of. My wife and I both had stomach aches the rest of the day. Over priced stomach aches..We won't be back.
My favorite local Mexican restaurant always with great service and good prices
We have eaten here a few times, more recently ordered catering for a small gathering. It was delicious, very well prepared and packaged for pickup. Their salsas are so good too!
They have nice staff and the food is great. I ve eaten there several times so far and will gladly eat there again.
The food and service was excellent. I am picky because I am half Mexican.
Standard fare, but I'm 6'x2', 220lbs and I was satisfied as all hell with a shredded beef burrito. Def goin' back!
Wish they had more vegan options, however, the vegan food I did get was very tasty! Would definitely eat here again.
Employees are very nice. Tip--if taking out, order ahead. They are BUSY!!
Amazing food, great service!! This is now our neighborhood go to for mexican!!
Always great food n good service
Margarita Land
The attention is very well the only thing that takes to serve you and the food is cold and at the time of payment is slow
AHHHmazing Rice and Beans. They have the BEST in town!
Awesome service great food good surroundings and even when they are exceptionally busy the food comes out quickly, hot, and delicious.
Food was beyond excellent. My family was very happy. Next time we are up this way we will stop again. The service was awesome!!!
Delicious food. Friendly and fast service. Will definitely return.
Favorite Mexican spot! Margaritas are amazing here!
Really good food here. Portions are generous, too. I had the Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup) and a quesadilla. The soup was delicious and filled with chicken, fresh avocado, vegetables and tortilla strips. The quesadilla was just as generous with it's fillings. I washed it all down with a margarita. It was truly a delicious meal.
Pretty good food. Service was quick and very friendly.
So it was ok. Solid but not out standing good service, friendly staff, salsa was good chips fresh. We will return but there is better out there. Oh and they said they had adobe marinated pork on the special board pretty sure they ment adobo and when i said something they thought it was funny. Worth a try but beware if the clay marinated pork.
I love their chili relleno burrito, and leftovers are even better at home in a panini press. Yummm.
I have been dining here since the mid 1990s. The owner, Jose, is a great guy that we enjoy visiting with when we are there. The food is not fancy but you get a lot for the price. You can afford to take the entire family. As prices are reasonable. I love the number 13 enchilada. My wife always gets the cangrejo enchilada, which is Spanish for crab. I wish they had a larger selection of draft beer. Only 3. The mix drink of choice is the consulla. Watch it because is it strong and tastes like Mexican koolaide.
The salsa is wonderful and the margaritas are huge. A nice place to visit with friends
Slow, slow, slow. We waited over an hour after the waitress took our order still no food we just left. Won't be going back. If I want Mexican food I'll just go to a food truck they tend to be better anyway.
We ate there last evening and had a great meal! True Mexican food and very well made!
Great food! Genesis and Pedro are by far the best wait staff and manager. Great service too!
Excellent food and friendly staff. Great price per portion.
My cousin's daughter and I ordered taco salads. She had chicken. I had ground beef. They didn't bother to drain the chicken. Her Taco bowl shell was swimming in liquid. Mine was tasteless and dry. Very little chopped tomato, mostly just lettuce and a tiny bit of cheese. No guacamole or sour cream with it. That was extra. They were the saddest excuse for a Taco salad I've ever seen.
Usually very good service and friendly staff. Food is very good.
Being a Mexican from Texas & living here going on 14 years, I'm extremely picky about my Mexican food & feel there aren't enough good places here like Texas.. La Costita fits into this tiny rare filled box of amazingness & when I eat here I feel like I'm home, it warms me up inside & fills my tummy up with pure joy & love! You really have to try this place! My favorite are their enchiladas with la costita sauce. They make some of the best rice besides myself & beans to go with it. Their salsa is the best in town. This is what I call real Mexican food.
Above average Mexican food. I've been eating here over a decade and it has stayed pretty consistently good. The salsa is great. I love the Chile relleno. Beans and rice are tasty. The carne asada is very good, but it sure has changed in price over the years; It was around $12, now over $20. However, it is enough for two light eaters, especially with endless chips and salsa.
Staff has been pretty consistently friendly over 10 years, they remember us even if we haven't come in for months. They can be busy, especially the weekend, but service still stays good.
The restaurant has always been kept quite clean.
Overall it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in this entire area.
Food isn't too bad but staff did not seem the friendliest
This is the third time my to go order has been messed up. I love the food, but they can't seem to get their to go orders right.
Quick kitchen, courteous service, large portions, clean dining halls, semi-private dining available. Pleased much and will definitely come again.
Went for lunch, one of the worst taco salads I've ever had. Taco bell would have been better!!!
Very nice combination dinner. Great taste. Great service. Loved it.
This place has great food! They have huge portions at a very reasonable price. Once you get seated, you get lots of tortilla chips and salsa until the main course comes out. I moved into this area about a year ago and found this gem. My wife and I have become regulars. I highly recommend this place!
Decent mexican fare, nothing special but satisfying. Try the seafood chimichanga.
Sunnyside la costita. Pretty sure it was canned chicken in our quesadilla. My White Russian was all half and half ( asked for taquilla instead of vodka.. got Irish cream) they re did it with a smile. Service was decent. Guacamole was store bought? The tip calculator on the visa machine doubled the 20% tip I wanted to leave. I have had good food here, tonight was a bust.it is hit or miss.
Thw food here is wonderful and good portions. Very quick service and friendly staff.
Loved everything I've ever eaten there. Deep flavors and great service. Great margaritas. I always get the blackberry with a couple spalshes of pineapple juice. Blended.
One of the better Mexican restaurants south of Portland. The people working there are always really nice. The salsa is great and I think they make their own chips there.
Lunch on a whim, good service, good good. Generous serving size.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area.
I've had good Mole and ok Mole. They have the good version.
