La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club Aruba Review

Aruba was an amazing place to vacation. La Cabana was so beautiful and right across the street from Eagle Beach. It is in a great location. Anything you want with in walking distance or a quick can ride.

Places like this are why they call Aruba The Happy Island. I had a 1BR suite complete with a well-equipped kitchen - it even had a dishwasher! This place is SUPER CLEAN; the rooms, the grounds, everything. A list of activities is sure to have something for everyone and the gym is magnificent; also open to the public, but never too crowded. Or you can do nothing and just enjoy a beautiful and super huge pool or the tranquil and world-acclaimed Eagle Beach. Although you don't have to camp out for a palapa, get there before 8am or you might not get one. The staff were ALL super friendly and eager to please. The bar was always hopping and at night the karaoke DJ was also quite the vocalist and kept the party going! This is a great place for everyone - couples, families, groups. Oh, and they have BBQ grills (which they clean vigorously) for those DIY meals. I will definitely go back to La Cabana!

What an awesome place to bring the wife for a romantic getaway, bring the entire family or bring a group! The beach is nothing short of spectacular! The facility is impeccably maintained.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The staff is the BEST I've ever seen; location is GREAT! Food and drinks are to die for and affordable. We'll DEFINITELY be back!! We recommend this resort to EVERYONE!!!!

Check-in, check-out takes forever. Double room charges, complicating check-out. Slow service. Locked out of room for over an hour when key reader stops working and super slow response. Nice beach, though! Mostly friendly.

Completely relaxing, from the time we walked through the door all the staff was incredibly accommodating. The resort itself is maintained well and you can tell the ownership has pride in the property. Any issue reported was promptly addressed and corrected. The only downfall is having to leave the perfect beaches and welcoming people. This has been an amazing trip for my family and a first trip out of country for my young daughter. I can't recommend this place enough!

I stayed at the Aruba eagle but I could access the common services of the hotel such as swimming pool and restaurant. The environment is more mobile. It is in front of the beach.

It's a great hotel to stay. Has a great pool, with a good bar. It's pretty close to Eagle Beach. It also has a good restaurant and a small casino. The staff is really prepared to make you feel like a Kings or Queens. It's a good hotel for couples and singles. Its a poor choice to watch sport games, for that I recommend you to walk 5 minutes or less to the Tropicana Casino.
There are a lot activities to do in Aruba, but if you are looking for better prices try to talk to the hotel's staff, they always are avalable to help you

We stayed here at La Cabana for 3 weeks 2/10-3/9/2019. It was so awesome..nice..especially the daily activities from the Activity Team. Cathy Martinez was such an awesome team player in the activity center. She is so friendly and caring and ensured that guest have a wonderful time as she got us involved. We celebrated 38 years of wedding blessings on Valentine's day. We discussed marriages, how to stay together, Cathy had us all involved as we drank champagne as we tossed..ate cheese..and had a wonderful time. I see she is an asset to the team and resort. The wine tasting was also nice. She is so friendly..in the One Big Happy Island..We can't wait till next year to return..

Staff is very helpful and pleasant. Excellent place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Place is very clean. Rooms are spacious and up to date. This is our second time here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great place, great beach, nice service. The only issue is 6am reserving a place on the shade.

A great spot to kick back and relax. World class beach rated in top 10 at the foot of the resort. Can't go wrong.

Friendly, quiet and close enough to the night life and restaurants.

A great place to stay on the absolutely beautiful Eagle Beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. Islander Grill offers delicious food at a reasonable price. Looking for a fancier dinner, try Las Rambles right on site and have a breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset. Or, if you prefer prepare your own meals in your fully equipped kitchen. Gas grills available if you so desire. A family friendly resort at a fraction of the cost of chain hotels located in the high rise strip.

Beautiful resort grounds are manicured extremely well keep and the staff are the nicest people around our third trip and it won't be our last love this place

Excellent resort on the famous Eagle beach. Fully equipped kitchen in every room. Choice to Studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom suites. Good food choices, great pool area and casino. I would highly recommend it.

We didn't stay at this one we did walk through it looked like it was a fun place had everything and right across the street from the beach

A nice place. more low key than Palm Beach. I like Eagle beach better too. The hotel itself has nice rooms and staff. Food and drink are more reasonable than other hotels. Fun live music. Feels more local. I feel like it needs more stairs/elevators because it's always a bit of a runaround to get from room to beach/towel hut etc.

Comfortable rooms and beds. A very well trained and dedicated staff. The food menu was less than what I would have liked but the staff made up for that with their welcoming smiles, attitudes and professionalism.Shout out to Vincent, he was over the top with his ability to make us feel at home. The bartenders were also very accommodating and professional. Thank you all for putting up with our antics. Sincerely " The 4 Amigos"

Very comfortable, clean, quiet, familiar and relaxed. Meets all expectations.
Comfortable environments, complete in its appliances, well the concierge, cleaning and security staff.
Beware of the Avis car rental company, they promise things that they then do not deliver.

The view!!!!! And the staff were amazing!!!! And the whole place was clean and very friendly,,hands down best vacation to date!!!

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because when housekeeping would come they didnt change the sheets and refill everything. Otherwise it was amazing!!! Gorgeous views, great location, and staff is very friendly.

Very nice resort, staff was friendly and helpful rooms faced the pool and ocean. I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent place to stay. There are two or three restaurants on site, with several more within walking distance. The grocery store is right across the street. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There's a bus stop right behind the property, and you can purchase bus passes at the store in the lobby. Everything you need right at your fingertips.

Visited twice. Awesome destination. Take the spouse, with or without kids.

Don't bother traveling to local beaches, the one outside the resort is by far the best. Great bar staff, and local restaurants are fantastic. Casino is small but has all the standard games. Poolside area and/or the beach is simply the place to be.

The service, the accommodations, the facility, and the location was the best! Morning water aerobics, afternoon bingo by the or in the pool, afternoon and evening happy hours, the restaurants, beach side cabanas and loungers included, made our stay at perfect getaway.

I only go to the gym and it is a great place to train. Lots of mashines and weights, great music great motivation posters and as a member other members are friendly and helpful.
Doesn't get crowded either. Also has great services you can go to saunas as well. So i am happy with the way the place runs. Casino is good been there only once but I'm not a casino person hehe.

Beautiful Resort well located has one of the best beaches of the island. Super food right across the street. F&B rocks great menu options fantastic flavors. Las Ramblas restaurant is a must.

It's a timeshare full of a lot of people that come there year after year after year. It's a gest place to trade into if you can find an opening, but be prepared it's not a young person scene. It has nice facilities, a casino a great beach, and one of the best happy hours, where everyone packs around the pool bar and drinks BOGO while listening to live music. The rooms have kitchens with most of what you need to prepare a mean and their are BBQ grills around the property. The big Superfood grocery is within walk distance and has high quality foods. The staff is helpful and I've yet to meet one that isn't friendly. Only downside is that during high season, it can be impossible to get a shade umbrella/palapa unless you are out before 6am, which most of those return guests are. They really need more or some umbrellas, which there is a place that rents those nearby.

The resort staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Every time we passed by a maid, maintenance, security, or front lobby we were greeted and smiled at. The rooms and all main areas of the resort were very well maintained and clean. All food on the resort was good, and between the beach oasis bar and the pool bar it felt like they had a happy hour going on at all times!

First time in Aruba and we absolutely will be back. I especially loved the great amenities of La Cabana. The layout of the rooms, the patio, the laundry areas, the pool, the resort restaurants, Sbarros (!!!), the ice cream store inside the lobby, the mini-mart, the walk to the beach! Fantastic. The staff really took care of us and we had a very pleasant and unique vacation. See you next year!
