Spend the money 12 / person for a coffee with a thick piece of cake. The current exhibition is an insolence and does not live up to what it promises from the outside.

Well there is always something to laugh about there are 8 floors and you need about 15 minutes because there are only a few pictures Floor number 3 has NOTHING and art, in my opinion, there are normal pictures of a cat and the picture is from 2019 nothing new and 12 we had at least the Vienna pass then it works but still nothing
Well to say ... a little disappointing. Nice and helpful staff, interesting building and what is already exhibited in it (on the ground floor) really interesting. The first floor is too modern for me in some places because it is completely incomprehensible. The biggest downside of this museum is definitely the size. These are just the two floors mentioned and not much to see.
Bread lying on the floor should be art? In addition, this has to be thrown away and renewed weekly! Food waste. For me this is not an art but a pure processing ...... Sry!
I usually like exhibitions in Kunsthalle, but the last one was so disappointing that I can do anything else than give 1 star. Time is Thirsty is the most useless exhibition I've ever seen. If you can, avoid this place and save your money, 8 euro for an empty room.
What is Vienna without art?A visit to this museum is a must!Great exhibits and one of worlds most beutiful and romantic cafes in the centre of the building.Superb!
An absolutely fantastic exhibition "Antartctica. An Exhibition on Alienation," whose title refers to Antonioni's observation that contemporary society undergoes "glaciation." For most people, the experience of "coldness" and "isolation" have become dominating in their lives. 18 artists explore those cold visions of contemporary interhuman relations, and they find unusual beauty in presenting different forms of loneliness. A must-see masterpiece!
1 star only because it is not possible to rate zero. The worst museum ever seen Do yourself a favor and run away. Although we were first and free admission but there is nothing there. Nothing to see.
An exciting and interesting location. I was there for the first time as part of an advertised flea market that we almost couldn't find, it was so badly signposted, but maybe that was on purpose! ;) Art is always in the eye of the beholder and therefore an assessment or ranking is up to you.
I confess: either I have a bad hand or the previously visited exhibitions were simply a symbol for very crazy art exhibitions ... the location itself and the staff are of course great!
Literally the worst contemporary art I have ever seen in Vienna.
The museum itself is also super misleading. they advertise this massive building and give you pamflets with amazing art in them, but the museum itself is 1/10 of the building and it is in 2, locations... we had to take the metro to see one 5x30 meter room.... go next door, both the leopold and mumok are a solid 5 stars,Please go there!
The Kunsthalle is a contemporary art exhibition hall, open to all avant-garde -cinema, photo, video ...-, and the E-F rooms, permanent headquarters of the Vienna Festival, which has been held for more than 50 years
There are many signs to direct you through the maze of rooms to the entry of this tiny museum. You know your architect failed you, when the entry to your public building requires numerous signs for people to find it. Once inside the tiny museum, there is no logical flow from floor to floor, nor are there any signs to let you know anything else about the museum. The exhibits are temporary and changing, but any information would be helpful to visitors. The current exhibits seem to be pranks to see how ridiculous they can get, pretend it is art, and still have a curator put it in a museum.
Kunsthalle Vienna The Kunsthalle Wien presents contemporary art at the highest level in the MuseumsQuartier and on Karlsplatz. For holidaymakers interested in art, a visit to the Kunsthalle Wien is a must.
The Kunsthalle Wien in the MuseumsQuartier, near the Hofburg, focuses on presentations of international contemporary and modern art. It is a place for the whole diversity of international contemporary art and related contemporary discourses. For this purpose, it develops innovative formats of exhibiting and communicating. The mediation programme offers access to what is presented on different levels, enables an interweaving of artistic practice and its theoretical reflection and promotes an intensive examination of current questions of everyday life.

Museum within MuseumQuartier exhibiting a series of changing contemporary art. There s a pond outside the museum that s great to hang out and enjoy the energy. There s even art installations that is made to sit and hang out. Pretty cool.
KUNSTHALLE WIEN MUSEUSMSQUARTIER - There are two locations: 1) Museumsquartier 2) Karlsplatz - This rating is for the located in the museum quarter. In its new headquarters since 2001, in the beautiful building, it presents and organizes themed group exhibitions, individual shows and festivals related to contemporary art. Your exhibitions and events are posted on your website. Beautiful space in Vienna!
