Huge beach club, very upmarket, very clean and good atmosphere but not my kind of place and not traditionally Bali

just great with a view of chilling more with cool music.

Had a meal last night which was for my girlfriends birthday but also I had proposed earlier in the day and it was an amazing experience. I know the occasion would make it special no matter what but having eaten in some of the best restaurants in Manchester (Manchester house, the French ect) this was far better. The setting is absolutely stunning with minimal interference with the naturally stunning view you get, the staff were so attentive, they always call you by your names and even guide you all the way to the toilet, each one came and congratulated us and we had really nice conversations with them all.
Now to the food..... WOW. The presentation, flavours, balance and texture were all incredible and when accompanied with the wines your taste buds are in a state of ecstasy.
It's not the cheapest restaurant in Bali but if you can you must try it.... trust me you will not be disappointed.

I've been here thrice- once for dinner, once when it was under reno (not great then), and once for drinks. Have to say they play great music! Would be nice to be there in the day too, but haven't experienced that for myself yet. Perhaps next time.

My husband and I made a dinner reservation online to catch the beautiful beach sunset. We arrived a little early and were advised to visit one of their bars to enjoy a beverage before dinner. We were seated by 6:00pm. Our table and chairs were perfectly set to watch the sunset. Good music, good vibes, good food! After reading some of the other reviews I d prepared myself for bad service, but we had great service! No complaints. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Fancy place with expensive F&B.
You've to spend min. 500k IDR when you asked for front seat.
They've small pool and nice view.
But I've no idea why we can't go to the beach. I was thinking about layinh down on the sand and enjoy the sunset.

There is a luggage check before entering the food booth. Drinking plastic bottles are discarded, so be careful if you carry them around.
The food was very delicious at the fashionable spot, and the clerk's attention was attentive and the meal was fun. There is also a swimming pool in front of you, so you can change your clothes in the toilet. You can also go to the beach from the door next to the counter where you can make a drink.
On the beach, there are some merchants that sell things by sitting on vacant seats, so you need to be careful.
The sunset looks beautiful, so next time I would like to ask for dinner.

The best food in Bali. We have been in Bali for 9 days already and tried most of the big restaurant here, but this place STAND OUT. No matter what you order, every thing is so DELICIOUS.

Went here for a breakfast. Surprisingly affordable for the Ku De Ta brand and amazing views with personalised service. We went with a 12 month old where they catered for her well.

It's less crowded than Potato Head, so it's convenient to see the sunset.. The atmosphere is nice too! The food was stingy for the price.

Was here for new years eve in 2017 and the whole group(6ppl) had severe food poisoning for days...

This restaurant is located at the end of Jalan Kayu Aya, Seminyak, Beachfront Restaurant of course with a calm and cool view of Seminyak Beach. Prices are relatively affordable according to the place. The music is also good, according to the market segmentation you want to achieve :)

It is a nice place to drink, to eat or to swim in the swimming pool and just next to the sea. The cocktails are good and the music as well.

Love it! These days I prefer Ku De Ta over Potato Head anytime due to overcrowding in the latter. If you wanna people watch, please head for potatoe head. But if you enjoy a cosier and quieter ambience with equally good food, service and sea view, head to KDT.

The vue of the sunset is absolutely fab from here!!!!!! It's definitely more convenient and a lot more chill then potato head

Great place for sunset. Can get loungers by the pool but min spend of 1mil rp which is quite easy to do as prices are fairly high for Bali. Huge selection of cocktails, infinity pool by the beach, and nice dining areas. Can book out upstairs private area for larger groups not sure on minimum spend level however. Kid friendly during the day, but fairly loud music/dj/party vibes in the evening.

Pick your time to go there. Can be overcrowded and not much fun if there are too many drunken Australian bogans there.

It's OK but no hurry to come back. Pizzas were nice but 2 year old had to be fully clothed or not in line with 'dress code'. Definitely not the same Bali service we've come to know and love. Supposedly family friendly but really just for people who want the perfect instagram photo.

Awesome cocktails, top notch service right on the beach. A little pricey by Bali standards but well worth it for a sunset drink or a few.

Amazing place to enjoy the whole day drinking and having awesome meals. Good drinks and in the end of the day we had an espetacular dinner. The staff treated us so well transferring our spot from beach front table to a very nice table to have a dinner. Congrats Kudeta! An example of international services provider.

The view from here is really amazing to catch the sunset but be sure to come early to get food seats.

Love the music and the service was the best I experienced in Bali. Also moving to the food the ribeye was nicely done in medium , have it chewy yet nicely digestible.

I went to spend a sunset and have dinner. Sorry failed. The waiter came up and said that the table that I had taken, with a good view, for three. And for one he showed on the table, which is at the entrance. There was no desire to understand. I got up and left.
And so the place is beautiful, everything is clean, comfortable. I don t know about food.

The ambience is nice. F&B is worth it.
Unfortunately, I don't know why but when the seats were full, it's like the workers didn't try to help the customers to find empty seats.

Was recommended this place and felt like it was a little overrated, the service was not good at all voted to other places in Seminyak. Feels like this used to be the cool place to go in the past.
The location is great with a nice view over the beach and there's plenty of seating although you'll need to wait for a sunbed and there's a minimum spend.

Upmarket eatery. Not cheap but food and location is excellent.

Ku De Ta is the original OG beach club for Bali that opens up right to the beach and a infinity pool that you can lounge around in while having one of their huge variety of amazing cocktails and drinks. The pool is somewhat smaller than a potato head though so it can be slightly disappointing

It's a really nice beach club. The restrooms show that it is one of the "oldest" beach clubs in Bali but besides the restrooms everything seems well maintained and clean. The food is definitely not cheap, for a strawberry mojito, a coke, a tempura sushi roll and a portion of edamame we paid 398k idr. The food taste was nothing special and since we visited out of season there was plenty of space. I can imagine it gets really crowded in high season, the pool is quite small compared to other beach clubs and there are also not so many beach beds. Due to the food and "small place" i give only 4* .

Always amazing service, food, wine, cocktails, staff especially diasa who served us, he was excellent! Chef warren even came to our table to ask about the food. One word... OUTSTANDING!

Great beach and good view near kuta and seminyak area. Actually its a cafe by the beach, you can have fun in the cafe or you can walk through the cafe and go to the beach.

Typical overpriced beach club in Bali. It's just OK. Had Sangria jug for like 50 . Tasted anything but, I think they used grape juice instead of wine.

After we were highly recommended to visit KU DE TA we decided to go for lunch on 3rd of July 2019 table 61. At the arrival host has pointed out area for lunch and told us to sit anywhere we like as we did, soon after waitress came and told us in firm tone to move to another table, grumpy and not very friendly which is unusual for Bali. However we moved to another table near by, same waitress dropped menus and left with out saying anything about food or beverage, we needed to hail her to order, also asked for the sun blinds to be pulled down and they were broken. Couple of guys started to fix that in the mean time the waitress took our order quickly and arrogantly walked away, when she came back to set our table she was literally throwing cutlery on the table while she was looking out toward her colleagues. We ate and drink quickly and left as quickly we could service was horrible food too bland and to western for Bali they really need to take a look around them. We both are from the same industry and it is a shame for such a great spot to have that bad service. Whole thing we have reported to manager Martin who was sincere and apologetic offered us a drink, these guys have a serious service issue. For the young and restless it is ok but wasnt for us. Very desapointed.
