If you re going here for a job interview. Beware, they belittle you to the fullest and don t own up to there ad s. I applied for a position that did not require experience and they acted like they strictly wanted someone with experience and asked me in a rude tone did you even read the description? . If ya don t want clueless people. Don t list no experience needed. And the interview is more of an interrogation than an interview.(3 people who look like there judging every word you say.) Which is NOT how you handle an innocent person looking for a job. Try at your own risk..

I would just like to give a big "shout out" to Officer Doug Goodman for the way handled the situation after the vote to Mandatory masks was finished. I thought he was very professional and courteous to the public outside the building. Thank you Doug Goodman!!

The sheriff office has been so helpful. My neighbor and I try to be good neighbors and help out when we can. With all the snow we can't do it alone. They showed up with a van of people and helped neighbors unable to do their own. Thanks so much

Kathy and I came back from Montana today stopped at the Idaho rest stop, pulled into the truck side because we had our utility trailer, then we came home.
A short time later my phone rings, it's deputy Melrose from Kootenay county sheriff dept.
He has my wallet, apparently I dropped it at the rest stop.
It was found by a semi truck driver who called the authorities, then waited for this deputy to show up and then turned it over with everything in it.
Deputy Melrose then went thru my wallet and found an old business card and called me.
He then drove to the Walmart at the statline and waited for us to get there.
People say the world has gone to Hell, I disagree.
There are at least 2 incredibly wonderful people out there!!!
If you hear of anyone bad mouthing truckers or sheriffs, tell them to call me!

(This is for the Sovereign Citizens in particular) If you have done nothing illegal, you have 0 to worry about. However if you have committed an offense, broken the law, whatever, let's put on our big boy or girl pants and OWN UP TO OUR MISTAKES! Bottom line. There is NEVER a reason not to cooperate with them. I don't always agree with law enforcement. I'm still going to do whatever they say, and be courteous. Thank you all who put their lives on the line for us daily. God bless

Thank you to the Kootenai County sheriff , so respectful, helpful and I can feel the care in there hearts about those of us who lose our way. Thank you again without men and women like you I don't know where I'd be, but because of you I have a firm stance on my path in this world and like you good men and women I choose to help my brothers and sisters of this world . Why do you guys need unmarked police cars to catch people speeding and for traffic violations? We all thought that was for some serious undercover stuff. Every cop car should be marked as a police car to allow the citizens to know your presence. This makes the general public not trust you. You have to be sneaky to catch grandma going 5 mph over the speed limit. PATHETIC! #defund undercoverpolicecars
