Great food and great service, well presented and awesome for families with a kids playground

A great traditional watering hole in the middle of suburbia.

Huge meals! We only ordered entrees but was enough to fill us up. Definitely good value and a tasty meal.

Food order came through quickly even though there were alot of customers on a week night. Complementary colouring for the kids was great

Enjoyable lunch catch up. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Nothing fancy but quality at good price. Was fairly crowded but the venue caters well for that.

I have had several meals at the Kooringal Hotel during my many visits to Wagga Wagga over the last eight years. The meals have been well priced with generous amount of food on the plate. On my current visit to Wagga I had a meal at Kooringal Hotel. I was disappointed. The menu has changed. I ordered battered baramundi (fish). The fish was cold the battered chips were soggy. Another meal order at my table was grilled barramundi, battered chips and salad. The fish was a much smaller fillet than my order. It was also cold with soggy chips. The kitchen at the Kooringal Hotel will have to improve before I will return for a Pub Meal. One star is all I can manage for this revue.

Location was nice to sit in. New Menu is good. Food tasted nice but had a strange take on some traditional dishes.

I never write anything.. at the end of the day it was the worst meal I ve ever had..my partners chicken burger was burnt got a refund.. my meal was cold as cutlets worest .. free advise

good surroundings clean and very plesant drinks at average prices food fair but be careful how you order extras can add up ! ie steak sandwich means steak sandwich chips salad all come as extras so a $ 10 now becomes $20 be careful

It was a warm, family friendly pub/bistro. They served huge meals that were tasty and good-eating. They had a good selection of food on the menu to choose from. It was a bit more expensive than what we'd usually spend in Nowra but it was good value for money given the portion sizes. The Kooringal had substantial parking, was accessible, had indoor/outdoor eating areas that could be climate controlled and had a playground for the younger ones. It is very popular so it is wise to book a table in advance. It can get a bit noisy but can't be helped due to the number of people that go there.

Top quality steaks and very friendly chefs dealing with complicated order. Highly recommend to stop in.

Staff are very pleasant and make you feel very welcome.

We had dinner at the Kooringal Hotel with our friends and our children there is a great playground for the children to keep them entertained and the food was good standard pub food. Decent selection of beer on tap.

Excellent family pub with a big outdoor play area for the kids. Food is great, I had the rump steak and it was really nice and tender. If you're not brining the kids, probably don't sit next to the playground - but there's plenty of options

Had an early (6:00 pm) dinner with friends last Sunday - pleasant atmosphere - lots of families - food was excellent, tasty, generous portions (I had beer battered Flat head with salad and chips as main and garlic bread as an entree) and reasonable price served in a timely manner - would recommend

Living close to the kooringal makes it handy for a quick feed or cheap night out. Recently the kooringal has been sliding back to the disappointment it once was. This pub has so much potential, yet they seem to cut back wherever they can. I now only come for the cheap food, where I used to eat, drink and play and overall enjoy the pub as a whole. Lift your form kooringal!

Meals came out quickly, big portions, Dianne sauce was amazing and i loved that went we paid for one kids meal for both our kids to share as they eat mice sized meals when we are out. we were given 2 juices and 2 activity books.

Good venue, food was OK, not great, better pub meals elsewhere in town. Pricing was good and menu selection was ok.

Good place to have drinks in Wagga Wagga. Price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and I was offered free drinks. They have good side dish options for drinks. Even though their pizzas are not the best but large enough for about 4 people.

Don t bother booking. Booked for 6 people it was confirmed as in the book when we arrived no table. Told to sit around and wait for people to leave. Great service not.

Been taking the family here for pub meals for years. Probably had only 1 or 2 meals where the chef had been thinking about something else when preparing our meals. Consistently good.

Good place to catch-up with friends.....especially if you have young kids. Food was not great the last few times we have been. There are better food options at other pubs.

One of the most frequented pubs I like to call into now that I'm a wagga resident living all the way out at estella but still like to catch up with staff and have a few coldies

Worst service ever took an hour and a half to get food people who ordered after me were served first this is unacceptable won't be recommending you again

The steak burger was like rubber couldn't even eat it not happy

Had dinner with 15 others, including children. All good, service was timely.

Visited mid-week for a drink while the kids played on the playground. It was quiet when we visited, the kids had a great time on the play equipment

Lunch special is just a reduced size meal. Ordered the steak sandwich...got half a steak sandwich.
Wont be at the top of my list for future lunch options.
