An outdoor porch light failed. I had a new lamp and Kolb installed it in under an hour. Quick and clean. Very nice.

Made two appointments. Came home from work early. Didn t show up for either and had a didn t care attitude. Won t be using or recommending them.

Do not use for Generator repair. It took 3 days and 2 different techs to possibly figure out the issue. I say possibly because it is 2 months and I am still waiting for repair

Hired them to install a pool timer, assess the low voltage transformers, adding an outlet, and cabinet lighting. After the electrician first said we had the wrong timer, I had to correct him which was my first sign of total ineptitude. Next, he inspected the low voltage transformer, assured me it was fine and the heat of the unit was acceptable. 1 week later, the transformer wiring melted causing (see photo). I still don't know how the house didn't catch fire. He had no clue about installing a new outlet in the garage, and after $480 for horrendous service I'll never use them again and caution anyone who does in the Baltimore metro area.

Professional, clean, and quick. Had an issue with code changes but Kolb took care of everything! They went above and beyond to complete the job even through county code changes in mid-job. Very satisfied!

We had not been able to figure out why the outlet in our second bathroom would suddenly stop working! It was intermittent! For YEARS we sought to find someone who could solve this mystery. Robert Sander came out today and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes! He also solved a problem that we had with another switch that was none functional. We have gone without lights in two rooms for years, finding alternate options in order to function. Robert was professional, friendly, kind and worked quickly and efficiently. We could not have had a BETTER service experience. We would SPECIAL request this young man if we ever were in need again! Thank you Robert Sander and thank you Kolb Electric!!

Office and service technician were very polite and responsive. Came out on time for a free estimate and advice on a remedy that would be at no cost to me (mounting issues with service pole on exterior).

This company did an EXCEPTIONAL JOB for an installation earlier this week. Mister Myer went above and beyond in accommodating my scheduling. THE COPANY HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 1925, THEY HAVE THE OLD SCHOOL QUALITY OF COMPANIES OF THE PAST. DON'T SECOND GUESS THE PROJECT, GO WITH KOLB ELECTRIC! Thank you from Maryland.

Kevon was my Kolb electrician and he is the absolute best. Hard working polite, intelligent and awesome customer service were part of the job. Had a wire break behind a wall in my kitchen deactivating my garbage disposal. I'm selling my old condo so I needed the garbage disposal fixed immediately. No time to wait for an estimate. Kevon and I figured out a way to get the job done because, Kevon is not just an electrician he is an intelligent diligent problem solver.

I've used Kolb Electric for my electrical needs for about ten years. I've had them do many jobs for me and they never let me down. I'll need an electrician to install a boat load of new fixtures, I will call Kolb and I'll ask for Kevon. No matter who I get. I rarely had serious issue with the quality of a Kolb electrician.

This company is shamefully dishonest. I am contacting the BBB and county clerk because they practice unfair bait and switch. I emailed them based on an ad for a FREE estimate to replace my bathroom vent fan. The gentleman showed up and gave me a $127.50 invoice. The company representative told me that they estimate could not be free since they had to troubleshoot my vent fan. I'm not sure why. I asked for a quote to replace, obviously it isn't working. It's not even about the cost but about the reality that I would NEVER had agreed to pay for the estimate. Reading some of these other reviews I take strength in knowing these shannanigans will not last much longer.
