super overpriced thrift store. nothing special. no deals here. they have several items labeled as vintage, that are not vintage! These are the same items and brand you can find from Target! Yes, they carry used Target items then sell them at triple the price. Lame, you're only paying to shop in wicker park. who charges $25 for a used t-shirt? sales people are no help. gave them 2 stars only because they do allow you to try on clothes, which is rare in a thrift store and they usually have an impressive window display. Please dont give me your ridiculous passive aggressive response, when you sell people Target items as vintage, your plain false! Yes, people are better off going to the Ark or Family Thift store, at least I get what I'm paying for over there!
Knocked off a star, due to this nonsense response!

Don't like to buy clothes much but I seem to buy from here all the time as they seem to have a lock on all the best looney-tunes tshirts and hoodies, including a bootleg Taz on a NordicTrack tee that slays. The new store location is bigger and easier to shop, more stuff. And they always know where the party is gonna be at.

Paid this little store a visit today to check it out. I previously owned a similar store in California last year. Nice decorations and such, tons of little items that someone could mostly be find on amazon or online for cheap by the front door, but it looked cute how it was set up.

The only kinda negative thing I saw about the store and that s why I only did 3 stars- I definitely really noticed how over priced majority of the items and clothing were-not to mention there were literally like three pairs of shoes.
I picked up some old pants for 46$ That I bought similar ones at buffalo exchange for about 15$.
If they change the steep prices it would be a perfect store and really cool design. Just my opinion.

If you wanna step into the 90s for a bit - head over to Kokorokoko. This place has all the awesomeness of the 90s from acid wash denim to fanny packs to Starter jackets to WWF wrestling figurines to Saved By The Bell trading cards. Quite a trip.

tip: Sometimes they have awesome sales like "Buy 2 items get 1 item for a penny"

Kokorokoko falls more into the category of "bizarre vintage dream finds" more than your average thrift store. You won't find your everyday flannels and old gym shirts here like you would at an average thrift store. This shop is a highly curated haven of the most authentic, quirky memorabilia from the 80s and 90s. The owners are amazing people, as are the employees, and it's always a fun time to wander the shop and transport yourself back in time through their selection. Every item here is a winner, and although the price points are higher than a conventional thrift store, it's because you are paying for the high curational quality of the pieces in this store. You won't have to sift through racks forever to find something you love. They sell everything from fanny packs to Garbage Pail Kids trading cards, to clothing to accessories to coffee-table books on 90s fashion. Definitely a must see if you're in Wicker Park, as this is one of the shops that truly gives my neighborhood it's eclectic flair.

After faxing paperwork at Copy Max, which sits a couple stores down, I was drawn to a couple vintage 90's items sitting in the window while walking pass, which prompted me to stop in. Dropping in to Kokorokoko was a reminisce to some of my late childhood years and memories in life in the 1990s.

Memories such as when we had "The" original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When Hulkamania ran wild all over the World Wrestling Federation! As Hulk Hogan use to say - "Whatcha Gonna Do, Brother?" Those times when it was okay for guys to wear mesh shirts, plus stone wash jacket and jeans, yes! And how could I forget the boom boxes w/cassette tapes playing true funky music, and of course when LA Gear shoes was "it" because they lit up, as well as LA Gear and Tommy Hilfiger clothing brands being at their peak! Hehe, get my gist? I'm a 80s baby! And if you want to relive those 80's & 90's memories, Kokorokoko sells tons of vintage items & clothing that will help you reminisce.

I'm always intrigued by places like Kokorokoko along with thrift stores, so I'm quite positive that I will return in the future to see what updated vintage items they have to offer. Returning also gives me more time in a hipster neighborhood like Wicker Park with the possibility to encounter more stores similar to Kokorokoko.

The clothes was so dope, a little pricey but they had some great pieces! The only downside was that one of the employees was following us around the store the whole time, maybe because my cousin and I are young mind you we re 18 lol and I m not even gonna pull out the race card but we were the only ones that looked like that there, smh man I seen some white girl slip something into her pocket but you were too busy being nosy w us.

My favorite vintage shop in the city. 80 s and 90 s vintage clothing and accessories, in a stunningly decorated space. Regardless of whatever look you want to pull off, they ve got something here for you. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the owners are true tastemakers in the city of Chicago. Keep up the good work!

I was pleasantly surprised with the options and affordability of this place. Usually, when I travel, I try to find local thrift stores around the area and I usually find a lot of treasures.

I usually have the intention to buy something when I go to thrift stores and I left with a whole new outfit. The clothes are stylish and up to date. The sales staff are helpful even if you are seeking to drop some clothes off.

The styling and selection is great and like I said, the prices are super affordable. If I am ever in the area, I'd love to visit again!

I visit here often, and am constantly blown away by the quality and selection of their everchanging inventory! There is always something here for me, and there is always new stuff. Amazing shirt selection, entire outfits you can't find anywhere else, dresses, skirts, pants- don't get me started on the accessories. Lots of unique, hard to find items that will wow at the party, or work in your day-to-day rotation. I can't count how many amazing items I've picked up here.

Outside of an exceptional selection of frocks and accessories, I am always attracted to the assortment of pop cuture books. Some of them are often difficult to find, but hands down it is the outstanding customer service that makes this place shine

Amazing staff, Uber arrived a bit late so I only had 20 minutes to shop. The staff are all lovely and I had to look at the clock when it went past closing time and the store still had customers. Never experienced going in a store where they didn t push you out close to closing time. Love this store so much!!!! Amazing vintage items.
