It was okay. Seems pretty subdued for hockey, but some people may prefer that. Superb alcohol selection. Yum!

We had a great experience and we knew nothing about hockey coming in.

This is without a doubt one of the most underrated things to do in Knoxville. The entire experience is top notch. Cheap seats are ok, and the best tickets are still cheaper than UT football. My kids are ages 3-11 and they all have a blast. Let s go Ice Bears!

The parking is easy and convenient. The convention center is super easy to navigate. And of course, go ice bears!!!

Went to see the ice bears friday night jan 17th, my son and I gave been before and it's a good experience. Cheap tickets and still a good view to see all the action, what you come to expect now a days for concessions fairly pricey. The one thing that I wasnt happy with is that the puck throw they have at the end of the 2nd period, I would like them to make an announcement that when this event takes place it's only 1 min for you to throw the pucks you've bought onto the ice. My son didnt make it to a place where he could make the throw that would make it to the ice and he was very upset.

New video scoreboard allows for replays, upgrades to HVAC, new dasher boards, sound system and bathroom renovations have improved the facility. The hockey is always entertaining, Ice Bears fans support the team so there is always a large loud crowd.

I wish I could give a negative review! We are from over 2 hours away and got tickets and came down today to go the game. We purchased a hotel and ubered to the facility. I was denied entrance because my Kavu was too large. Therefore, I ve had to leave my family and uber back to my hotel and wait for my family to finish and go pick them up when they let me know that the game is over. This was mine and my children s first hockey game and now I am missing out on a first in the lives of my children because my PURSE WAS TOO LARGE. We had no clue that a purse would not be allowed and if it wasn t for the excitement of my kids, my husband would not have stayed (how do you deny your kids something that they are beyond excited about because you cannot enter because your purse is too large?). They offered me a small ziplock back and I said that I would take everything out and put in my pockets and roll my purse up and put it in the bag and I was denied that. So ultimately we have wasted a ton of money on tickets, a hotel, gas, and ubering to and from and then having to make another trip in my car to pick my family up when the game is over. I also get to miss the excitement on my kids faces all because of a Kavu that I offered to roll up in the plastic zip lock bag that isn t allowed.

I do not recommend this organization to anyone nor will my family ever support them again. This has been a horrific experience and I hope that you can offer future customers and supporters better information on what is not and is allowed, especially out of town guests. The gentleman in line was rude and when I offered to take everything out of my purse to show him and roll it up and put it in the small bag, he still denied me entrance. I am beyond upset about missing this once in a lifetime family opportunity with my kids.

The Ice Bears games are good fun. I understand how it would be expensive for a family. Tickets aren't cheap and food/drinks are typical cost for athletic events. That said, every time I go I see families having a great time.
It's also a lot of fun for people who don't have kids & just want to go to a hockey game with friends.

I flew in from Houston and my friend drove in from Memphis to see the games against Peoria. We specifically requested tickets behind Peoria's benches and were reassured that that's where our seats would be. We got to the game only to find that our seats were to the left of Knoxville's benches and in the middle of some of the most obnoxious fans. We spoke to Andrew about our disappointment with our seats and asked if anything could be done to fix the situation, even if it was just for the second night. He wasn't the least bit helpful and told us that we would have to contact the third-party company that we bought the tickets through (which was the phone number on the Ice Bears website). We immediately went onto the website and bought box tickets for the next night and called the number the next morning. They informed us that they would have to get permission from the Ice Bears in order to give us a refund or exchange for tickets, we called Andrew to get this approved and he again told us that he really couldn't do anything and didn't even apologize about the mishap. We went to the second game and had the sweetest lady from the event staff near our box who was very helpful and understanding of our situation. She agreed that SOMETHING could've been done to make our experience better and continuously checked on us throughout the night. As somebody with a background of working in the sports industry, I was highly disappointed with my experience at the games this weekend.

Great family fun! The tickets are inexpensive. It was superhero night when we went and they had activities throughout the game geared towards kids. My 9 year old loved it! The parking is convenient as well.

The Knoxville Ice Bears offer incredible value for an entertaining evening. If you are unfamiliar with the game of hockey, don't hesitate; the game is fast paced and fun. There is fun for everyone in the family! There are upgrades to the Civic Colosseum including a jumbotron which now allows for viewing of replays and increased interaction with fans.

Always a good time! Pricing is not bad. It can get expensive with food and drinks. Personally, I love the weenie dog races. They have lots of different theme nights though if you aren't super into dogs.

I love going to ice bear games, the atmosphere is just something else and generally all of the staff is very polite. The arena definitely needs some upgrades though especially in the bathrooms and food stands. Seats are uncomfortable and the score board could use am actually TV for replays and other graphics. Other than upgrades of the facility, they do great with what they have.

Fun team to watch local. Pretty cheap to go with family, friends or as a date. Very entertaining.

I like hockey, and Ice Bears tickets are pretty cheap, if the price is out of your league, you can usually score some for free from radio promotions.
