Knob Hill Country Club Review

Its prime season and no reason for greens be this bumpy.

Terrific golf course in great shape. Fun, interesting holes and it was a fair test for first time playing this course. GPS on carts a big help. The clubhouse and restaurant look really nice too. The whole place gave me a feeling of a Floridian community country club with its pool and tennis. Just a great experience overall with friendly staff. It was very hot yesterday but there was plenty of ice cold water in the coolers and the beverage cart past by probably 6 times too. This course I'll put on my list of "I'll be back".

Been going there for years. Jason and his team are first rate. Highly recommended.

Such a fun course to play. The course design is challenging but rewarding. There is a decent amount of elevation change on this course- with the 1st, 10th starting at the top of the hill, and of course 18 finishing up the hill.

All in all worth playing again and again. They do have electric carts and GPS screens fitted as well!

I didnt visit because I live here. My vehicle was hit with a golf ball and crack my windshield. I went to the office. Was told they couldn't do anything but give my number to the "golfer" that was in that area at the time.

Employees not very professional. I enjoyed the course. Won't go back again! Same courses with better hospitality and price.

My daugther live in Knob Hill Golf Club, I love this place... it's Beautiful and the neighbors are friendly.

We take the children to pick pumpkins. Many activities, great . Good service of public toilets.

The course is always in great shape and they take good care of you.
Edit - removing one star for the condition the course was in during my most recent round. Looks like the course was neglected over the summer - tee boxes and greens in rough shape.

Well maintained course. But they make non-members double up in the riding carts. Not happy about that in these COVID times.

Great golf course in excellent condition. The greens are fast. I have no complaints at all here aside from the fact that l don't like playing so close to houses. The prices are fair for a course of this caliber...

Course is in relatively good condition. Clubhouse is impressive as well as a well stocked pro shop.

Great Course with some well designed challenging holes. Especially the par 3s.
Restaurant/ bar is nice. The bartender needs some training in hospitality.
However, Nicole who waited on us at the table was a class act. She seems to enjoy her job. Nicole would be good role model to the bartender.

Our group of 14 arrived 45 mins prior to our 11:a.m. tee time on Tuesday morning...The staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Check in was smooth and the prices were fair for our group of seniors. Our handicaps range from 5 to 22, we draw cards for teams. The lower handicap guys played the white tees, the higher guys played the gold... our lowest score was 70 our highest was 98..We all agreed that the course was in excellent condition tee thru green..The pace of play was also good...We stayed for dinner in the grill, the food and the wait staff were all 1st class..Thanks for a great day of golf and camaraderie ..Ed Bowman

Stopped in for a drink with a friend. Bartender, staff and all guests were super friendly. You might expect it to be hoity toity but it's not. Just regular folk who like golf.

A very nice place and the staff was terrific! Plenty of room and a very scenic place to have a special event. I can't say enough how helpful the manager and the staff was they were right on top of everything.

Nice golf course. Prices are a little steep, but the course is well maintained and challenging. The course is often narrow with a lot of water hazards, so if you are not a scratch golfer, it is a good idea to bring some extra balls.

Recently visited NJ with my husband and sent him out for what was supposed to be a nice day of golfing. When he came home and told me about his experience at Knob Hill I was embarrassed and annoyed that he had such a bad Day on our vacation.

He scheduled a tee time for 7:35 A.M. and was paired up with a group of 3 who had never played before. My Husband being an avid golfer asked the guy to allow him to play alone as he would have been able to move quickly through the course. After that was denied he suggested not having them go before several two soms as he knew the group would be slow. That also was denied. They ended up having to let 5 groups pass them and my husband ended up being the caddy to his own group of non experienced golfers as they didn t know what they were doing. Then halfway through the Marshal came over and asked them to speed it up as if there was an option to go faster with his group of non experienced golfers.

My husband would never post a review which is why I am doing it for him. He said he would never play this course again due to their poor pairings and service. There was no empathy at all and his 18 holes ended up taking almost 5 hours.

Nice experience and good golf course. Just enough water to keep it intimidating. Carts have built in GPS.

We had my daughters Bat Mitzvah at Knob Hill last week. We were so happy with the way the event turned out. The venue was just renovated with hardwood floor and it made a huge difference in the vibe of the room. The food was also excellent and the staff did a great job, especially Jason who helped us organize and plan the whole event

The venue is a beautiful golf course. Departing it at night is a horror. It is set behind a mass of "townhouses" on deadends and cull de sacs going no where.The lighting is poor to non existing.There are no signs to directing you out to a main road.Navigation systems get confused.After a night of partying the last thing you want is to be frustrated going home

Good conditions for golf and many events in the club

My women's organization had it's annual membership dinner there. Very pretty room with a balcony area for outdoor seating. The food was very good. It was warm even though it was served buffet style. Bar in the room available for drinks. Lots of parking.

THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE ITSELF. Went for a quick drive around the area Sunday, just before dusk. The golf course is surrounded by housing developments. Advertised as Luxury Single family homes... they are packed side to side & back to back with no pools, decks or backyards, few fences. Homes are close enough to easily watch & hear your neighbors TV. I don't know how its possible to live there & not have your home or car window broken by a golf ball. I wonder if people who live in the community are entitled to any kind of free access or discount of the golf grounds or amenities? Place looked clean, but rabbits & deer were ample.

Good place for golf, the field is designed in a challanging way and it's rewarding.

Beautiful golf course. Challenging for all different types of players. Greens roll true, tee boxes are well taken care of, fairways are well defined but can be tight. Staff is friendly, drink/snack cart comes along often. Overall a great course.

Not too tough for the average golfer, fairly easy for the strong player. Course is in good shape. Carts have GPS so knowing distance is simple. Good restaurant and bar.

Every hole has unique character. Not a course for bombing away - more strategic. 1st round but not the last. Enjoyed the course layout and the condition!

Visited Family! Took a walk along the beautiful golf course & enjoyed the afternoon in the refreshing swimming pool! Great views too!

Nice course only issues were there is a lot of water on this course, and couldn't bring a push cart on course.

Pumpkin picking made fun. We all had a great time, but especially my granddaughter. And that's what it is all about. As long as she had fun and enjoyed herself..... well then it was a great day!!

Food service it's horrible and the golf course areas needs more maintenance I prefers others golf course better service and much more quality grounds

This place is crazy fancy. Its in a nice area with a really good banquet hall overlooking the club. At the private event I was attending the bartender had a horrible attitude and seemed suspicious. The actual club is very nice but the service wasnt up to par.

Awesome course and is not very far away. Greens were in great shape as were the fairways. Challenging but enjoyable for the average golfer. Will Def be back here when its not so hot out.

Course was very nice, and well maintained.
We were playing as a foursome, and finished our round in 4 hours and 10 minutes. The ranger came up to us at hole 14, and asked us to pick it up, we said okay - no problem . The ranger then continued to stay 10ft behind our carts, glaring at us until we were on the green of the 18th hole. It ruined the experience and all of our concentrations for the last 5 holes.

When we were leaving we looked back behind us to see how many groups we were holding up . There was one group of 4 playing from the close tees, and a group of 3 behind them. They were followed by no one even on the next hole.

This was my first time at Knob Hill and was not a great experience.

Course is in nice shape for the late fall. Fun track, open to the public.

Was here for a bridal shower food was good. Nothing special about the room

If you like golf, you will love this quaint well priced course, Head Pro Lou Kabisa and Assistant Kevin and Staff, represent Applied Golf impeccably. The grill is a great place to throw a few down and Eat! And Jason in Banquets does a great job with corporate events, sweet 16 parties, baby Showers, weddings, any party and the catering is awesome! We had a great experience hosting a bridal shower at the Knob Hill Golf Club! The team was extremely helpful in the planning, set-up, and execution of our special day! Guests were very impressed by the room, the food, and the helpful staff. We highly recommend them for your next occasion...you will be in very good hands! Geoff, Jay, Matt and the servers all deserve a big thank you for helping make our day so enjoyable!

Had a club dinner here (catered by establishment). Horrible beer selection, overpriced drinks, food was decent. Kinda cold inside (winter). Buffet was single sided, so serving everyone took twice as long. Took a while to get a water refill, just a bunch of little annoying stuff.
