just spent a few days with wife and my son plus all the inlaws we all had a wonderfull stay great location very family friendly plus the staff were also very helpfull and nothing seemed any hassle at all. i would stay again without a second thought

This was a great experience. The gym and spa were conveniently placed. There are plenty of castles (ruins) all over trim to visit and get a sense of the history. Some issues with the heating were quickly fixed.

What a wonderful time in Knightsbrook. We had a pick and mix spa treatment with Afternoon tea included. It was amazingly relaxing and the staff were so nice. We had Dinner in the bar and it was lovely . The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a really good choice of food.

A solid 3 stars for the Knightsbrook. We stayed in a family room which was plenty big for 5 people, that's 2 adults and 3 kids. There's also a play room on site which is good. I wasn't impressed with the pool area but the spa was good.
We got married in Knightsbrook in July and we could not have been happier. Sinead and all the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had the best day we ever could have wished for. All our guests never stopped talking about the food and the hotel itself. Both myself and my husband were so relaxed for the whole weekend. I couldn't recommend these guys enough. We can't wait to get back for a little break away some weekend!
Wonderful experience at The Knightsbrook! Afternoon tea was simply splendid! The spa treatments wonderful! Evening dinner and breakfast were so tasty! Our room was fab! And every member of staff was helpful and courteous. We were staying as a surprise treat for a 50th birthday. We were made to feel like royalty! Thank you everyone for making the Birthday Girl and us feel so special!
Setting was very nice but the hotel and the surroundings looked like it was living on past glory. The food was only OK, the price didn't match the quality and the breakfast buffet was very poor. Too many people and too little staff. Overall poor value for money
It's a pity I can't give 0/5. We didn't even get to stay at the hotel because apparently it was overbooked despite booking the room months in advance. Then we were offered a room in a different hotel which would have been highly inconveniencing for us as we were attending an event at the hotel. For someone who was sick at the time this was a non option. No courtesy to even being offered to talk to a manager (Apparently there was no manager on site huh?). Overall the whole situation was handled poorly and just the lack of customer care will make me think twice about booking at this hotel again.

We stayed here for a last-minute night away and it was fabulous! We booked the Dinner Bed and Breakfast package, which was excellent value. The food was amazing!
The staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the rooms are spacious and bright. We didn't get to use the leisure facilities (too short a stay) but all the more excuse to come back!
There are also excellent facilities for families with young families.

Room was lovely and spacious, dinner in the restaurant was fair and tables where on top of each other to accommodate large parties, uncomfortable when a waiters bsck side appear at your face. Not even the piano player could salvage the dinner. Spa was lovely nice massage and thermal rooms. Afternoon tea was fun but the chefs were to heavy handed on the condiments.

This hotel comes highly recommended. All staff extremely efficient and helpful. It is located in close proximity to the historic town of Trim. It has an excellent 18 Hole parkland golf course and again with extremely helpful staff.

I feel that I might be doing this hotel a slight injustice but sometimes we need to ensure we are not going over the top.
I rated the hotel overall a 3-star rating. Would have given it 4 but it did not have air conditioning which is a basic in hotels these days and with the very warm weather we had at the time an electric fan in the room didn t have the same effect.
