I made a very last minute catering order during a recent stay in town. I was worried about my calling for a same day order, but my concerns were soon allayed. Leo was super helpful and answered all my questions over the phone despite a very busy Saturday morning. When I arrived to pick up my order he made sure that I received everything exactly right. Everything was fresh and warm right out of the oven/stove. The calamari was excellent as were the mussels, shrimp and pasta. I really couldn't ask for more...Looking forward to next visit.

Havent eaten in the resturant itself but this is where we get 90% of our fish for lunch and dinner. Come here about 3-5 times a week to get fresh fish. Absolutely the best fish you can get. Always fresh and have never been disappointed. Have gotten swordfish, oysters, salmon, flounder, and many other types of fish from here. Maybe they don't use the fresh fish for their meals or their cook isn't good but when we make it at home (lunch or dinner) it is just superb! If you can cook and you like fish get it form here!

Nice place overlooking a marina. Spacious. Nice bar area, clean bathrooms. Not a fancy place, more a casual family dinner type of place. Decent food but nothing to write home about. My Alaskan King Salmon was dry, which should not be. The red quinoa side dish was very good. The whole lobster had a lot of eggs in it, didn't look too appetizing. The scallops and shrimp were good. Would come here again, but more for the locale than the food.

First time coming here and the food was great. We ordered the Creole blackened snapper and Honey Mustard Salmon. They have amazing bucket drinks and the water view was great to look at while eating. Our waiter was very good with helping us out and they have an contactless payment option where you can pay and tip for your meal on your phone. They also follow CDC guidelines.

Fabulous experience. Ultra fresh seafood, good service with great shore ambiance. I took some out- of -town relatives to the shore for the day and two very nice Belmar police officers who were patrolling the boardwalk recommended Klein's. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend Klein's to others. The icing on the cake was that we met the owner on our way out and she was very nice and informative.

I give it 4 stars because overall it is good but not great. I have been going since the original opened. LOVE LOVE LOVED it, very authentic, delicious, and they had on the menu a Mystery Taco, which was wonderful. That is gone, along with the value. Very busy, great atmosphere, but loud and so overpriced.

Always a good meal with fresh seafood and great service. Been coming here since they served on paper plates but now they have real plates. During the summer prepare to wait for a table. But you may also wait other times as well.

My husband and I requested a seat for dinner. They sat us in the absolute corner of the restaurant. Fine, could be random. Then, they challenge our IDs like no one ever has before, taking them to some scanner and returning to claim the IDs did not scan, suggesting they are fake. We assured them they are not fake. Someone else came over to talk to us. Then they asked if we had backup ids. We showed them a campus ID and an agency ID. Just by quickly glancing at these IDs they agreed to serve us. What? If you think our state-issued driver s licenses are fake how does a campus-issued ID or agency-issued ID serve as confirmation of age? This simply put us off and made it feel like we weren t welcome. So we left. The place we went to instead also had a scanner. We asked them to scan our IDs for us. They scanned without issue.

A first and last visit- food is sub par for the price, service slow (but friendly) A hair in my soup should have made me cancel the rest of the meal, but the server did apologize profusely and offered to bring a replacement (which I smartly refused). The small plate tempura crab cake was covered in anything but a 'creamy' lobster sauce- quite the opposite; a broken clumpy greasy coating- after scraping that off the crab cake itself was over salted and seasoned with so much herbs you couldn't taste the crab- There are better places to spend the money.

Very nice seating area outside with view of boats going under bridge and train. Came with my family of 4 and all our meals were delicious. Flounder sandwich, Atlantic salmon, lobster, etc. They actually give you a starch and a nice veggie which is hard to find these days. And for seafood I was pleasantly surprised at the price of the bill. Parking is free, and location was perfect for us because it is right across the street from our favorite Italian ice place.

Excellent seafood. Nice ambiance. Would go again when in the area. However, the last time we went, we ordered Clams Casino and Oysters Rockefeller. The Oysters were excellent but my wife and I always split the appetizers so when we each had one, they were BURNT TO A CRISP! When the check came the clams were still on it so I mentioned it to the waitress and her answer was that the manager said we ate some of them. Most places would just take it off the bill. After some hemming and hawing, they did take it off the bill, but what crummy customer service. I expected better from a restaurant of that caliber.

The place was empty so our device was pretty good (minus self addmittingly forgetting my Bloody Mary) but the food was not even average. Raw bar was OK but my wife halibut and my fish tacos were just bad. No seasoning, no effort. Not worth the prices.

Great atmosphere and service. Waitress was very attentive. Food was disappointing. Snow crab legs were rubbery and dry. Fried clams were nasty - taste much better at friendlys! Wake up kitchen staff.

So normally I don t even write reviews for the establishments I go to, but I felt like I had to warn anyone that might think of coming here. While the service was good, the food was terrible to say the least. Everything we ordered was undercooked, not seasoned, or flat out distasteful. The clams were slimy, the lobster appeared to be sitting in a refrigerator before being served to my party, and the fish from the fish and chips was dry and tasteless. Even the wings we ordered tasted like they were microwaved! By far the worst experience at a seafood restaurant that I can remember.

The food was average. The service was the absolute worst I have ever experienced. Our waitress was rude and acted as if we were bothering her if we ordered anything additional. The drinks were watered down and tasteless. I will never go back. Everyone around us were unhappy with the service as well. I have never reviewed anything before but it was such a bad experience that I needed to share. What a bad start to Labor Day weekend....
