Same problem with the insurance that I had to buy twice (once from the airline and a second time from them) - classic ripoff apparentely. Besides that they gave me a car with summer tires and when I called them from the mountains (because it started snowing) the chief tehnician told me summer tires were better and that I should call them back if I had the feeling the car starts skidding. Real professionals.

If this review confuses you, it's OK. So did the car we got.
So we booked a minibus for an 8 day vacation in Greece, about a week in advance. We paid extra for the full insurance and so that we could have a new car, as we were going to drive about 2500 km in it. We received an old Renault Trafic which was clearly used to an inch of its life. Honestly, the "newer" Volkswagens in the lot did not look like a major improvement either. This had around 130K on the odometer, it was not 100% clean when we got it (not even 90%), it rattled and it made a lot of noises when it drove, and normal conversations within the car at over 110 km/h were difficult, but mechanically speaking, it behaved perfectly, despite the shady brakes. We've had no issues with it, even if we forced its tiny 90 HP engine through the Greek heat in July, (that's right, 90 HP for AC and 6 adults with luggages) and made it back on schedule. We were on vacation and we had fun arranging the front bumper every 200 km, as visible in the photo, or trying to close the doors while holding all the rubber pieces together. The car kept on going, even if we received it with a tyre pressure warning light we were told not to worry about. It kept on going convincing me to rate KlassWagen with 4 stars because of the kindness of the staff, the easy pick-up and drop-off and the fact that this car remained in one piece after all this time. But based on the appearance of the car itself, it would have been 2 stars. Even if we got a voucher, not a refund, of the excess we paid for asking for a new car. The other cars in their park seem new and quite good looking and I would recommend them. But when it comes to booking a minibus for a road trip, I would look somewhere else, unless they refresh their fleet with new minibuses with decent engines and AC that don't freeze the driver so that the 3rd row of passengers could feel a little breeze.

After insisting on the state of the roads, fear of the police etc, the last resort is effective they do not take your credit card if it is not explicitly written "credit" on it. It is therefore impossible to retain a deposit forcing you to purchase their package.

Avoid this company if you rent through Ryanair, they advertise a very low price but they will hassled on the insurance price. Imagine an 40 euro/day insurance for a WV Golf. Worst experience i ever had renting a car on 4 continents, and the biggest price for an insurance ever for this type of a car, usually is 15Euro/day. Be advise that this company is not in the airport and you might be faced with a take it or leave it.
