A bit too expensive out of convenient reach, need have transportation, close to salt of the island not
convenient at all Hence they should accommodate the price to insectivore the getting there.
Bonaire is a bit too pricey for what it offers. Not the greenest of island

A super relaxing vibe, surrounded by amazing people. There's cold beer, and they have great instructors that can teach you kitesurfing from scratch, or help you build on your already exciting skill set. I definitely recommend giving them a shot

Great for kite surfers, but nobody likes surfing in the dark blue part of the water, which makes divers and snorkelers feel unsafe in the adjacent dive sites. Even so unsafe that the spots next to Margeteth Bay are barely dived while these are the most beautiful dive sites in the south.

Experience, experience, experience....this is the only kite school on Bonaire that has been on island forever and you immediately notice that in everything they do. Laidback and superprofessional!

I really had a great time learning how to kitesurf here! The instructors did a great job beeing super patient and really fitting everthing to ones needs. Couldnt be any better. Also the spot is great for learning in combination with the boat

kiteschool located at a beautiful location, with experienced staff. I had lessons from robbert and pieter, real toppers. who explain to you in understandable language what to do, I could already sail in three lessons! highly recommended !!!!

It was awesome watching the kiteboarders work. Some of them would go 15-20 feet in the air! As long as you can handle the incessant wind, it's definitely worth trip.

I highly recommend taking kiteboarding lessons through Kiteboarding Bonaire. This school is unique as they have radios which really help with the learning process. I took 3 lessons with Ryan who was fantastic. I ve taken lessons with four different instructors previously but Ryan clearly stood out from my previous instructors due to his high quality, frequent feedback, easy to learn technique and positive approach to teaching.

The only spot on the island is used and supported by 2 kite schools. Kiting without the RescueBoot is not possible on Bonaire and that is offered here for US $ 20.

Beautiful location, pleasant instructors. You will be well looked after, so nice with the wind coming from the north. Something can always go wrong and then help is immediately available through a rescue boat. Top location to learn it.

Beautiful beach! Great place to learn. Not crowded at all. Nice white sand. The crew gives great instructions and have nice gear.

Very nice kite people, very helpful and attentive. If someone is in distress while kiting, a rescue boat is on the way immediately.

Nice Kite Spot on Bonaire. Finally the only kite spot on this island. All other kite spots mentioned on different pages in the internet are not even worth to be mentioned. Offshore wind makes it more difficult fore beginners. Basic real wind was at about 14 to 18 knots. Windfinder forecast was always 2 to 4 knots higher. The nice team from Kiteboarding Bonaire is present every day with their bus. They put sun sails, chairs and tables for use. Also a compressor is provided. Everything can be used and they also sell some cold drinks. Several boats are present during the day for teaching or rescue. Of course they offer rental. Due to offshore wind rescue is sometimes needed. One rescue costs 20$. They remove all equipment (boats, bus, chairs, tables,...) every evening.
The main shortcoming is the missing toilet on this spot.
Unfortunately also in this area divers are present (The whole rest of the island is probably not enough) So you should avoid kiting to close to the coast in the turquoise water.
Some food trucks and restaurants are on the way back to town before the airport.

As a Bonaire resident from USA, thanks to Kiteboarding Bonaire, living the dream on Bonaire means more than just diving......Thanks to my amazing (and patient) instructor (Christiaan), my husbands amazing instructor (Ryan), and Ossie and the rest of the Kiteboarding Bonaire team!

My husband and I have lived on Bonaire for 1.5 years, and always drove by the kite beach and said....wouldn't that be fun?? But.....like so many people, we put it off and put it off. Then the island shut down (Covid) and we figured...now is the time! Hindsight: I wish we would have done this sooner!!

One of the reasons that we selected Kiteboarding Bonaire is because I am significantly hearing impaired (can't hear much without hearing aids), and they have waterproof headsets, which allows for good communication during the lesson. What a game changer! Without this, I do not think I would have been able to successfully get to independent riding. But, today, I became an independent rider, and so did my husband!
Total lessons: 8 each
Total hours: 16
Cost: Worth every dollar!!
Value: Enjoyment that will last a lifetime!

Plus, we made more friends on the island!
We look forward to continuing to improve our skills in the weeks, months and years ahead.

If you are considering lessons, you could not find a more professional, patient, caring.....AND FUN place to learn!

Wind offshore, with good structure, kite school for beginers, was worth the trip

Great Kiteschool. Personal attention. Relaxed atmosphere. Awesome conditions! I was surfing solo in a week :)

Good school with friendly teachers. I rented equipement and my girlfriend had lessons, we are both very happy with the progress made. The school has boats that follow you if you take lessons, and rescue you if you are too far off shore.

Beautiful beach, mostly kiters but you can shore dive and snorkle here aswell. Please respect that this is a kiters beach, who are the nicest people btw, and keep the beach clean.

I had so much fun. Peter the instructor was great. He is a unbelievable kiteboarder!
