KIPP Texas Public Schools is a network of tuition-free, public charter schools that are dedicated to providing high-quality education to students from underserved communities. KIPP stands for Knowledge Is Power Program and was founded in 1994 by two Teach For America alumni who were determined to help their students succeed academically and in life.

Today, KIPP has grown into a national network of over 200 schools serving more than 100,000 students across the country. In San Antonio alone, there are six KIPP schools that serve over 3,000 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
