My father was here for 3 weeks, in that time I walked into his room 4 separate times and his oxygen tank was empty. I don't know how many other times he's been without oxygen. He is very alert and aware of his surroundings, he was fearful More

My mother died an agonizing death at this facility...

My mother died an agonizing death at this facility on June 16th 2021 after being there a few weeks for rehabilitation because she was a recent amputee of her right leg above the knee. I live in Seattle Washington and had 5 short visits with my mother because they said she did not qualify for compassionate care visits and covid restrictions were in place which changed daily. While I was there visiting my dieing mother most of the staff treated me and my mother very poorly. She was forced into a diaper because no one could come to help her use even a bed pan, then forced to remain in wet dirty diapers until her poor sore bottom broke down. She somehow sprained her ankle on her remaining leg and no one knows how that happened yet she was unable to get in and out of bed by herself.

The entire staff at Kingston has been so attentive, kind and compassionate during a time when our family needed it most. My mother's rehab stay here has been seamless-from nursing to PT & OT, housekeeping, dining & admissions. The facility is clean and cheerful! We would especially like to thank Megan in admissions, Gwen-ADON and Mike in Pt for making mom's stay as comfortable and productive as possible. We would recommend Kingston Sylvania to anyone seeking rehab!! Thanks You!

"People may not remember what you said...but they will remember how you made them feel."
My family felt the genuine care at Kingston. They took such good care of my father. They also took good care of me - offering assurance and genuine compassion as I was his main caregiver. I'll always remember the kindness that was extended to my father and me during his stay at Kingston.
Sending my gratitude and sincere thanks to all of the Kingston staff.

Kingston is as close as you can get to a fine tuned machine. The therapy is awesome, there is no better in the city! They are second to none. The nursing staff is extremely competent and the aides are here to help us. In the last 4 years I have needed the services several times so I know how great they all are! I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Mom was here for about 2 months for rehab after a hospital stay. Rehab area presented well. PT was provided. Her clothes were stolen by staff (she was in a private room) the first week she was there. They said they would look for them but never did. She was eventually moved upstairs to the nursing home floor for a few weeks. An appointment was set up for her to go to her urologist for have her cath removed. When transportation came to pick her up they told them she had bee sent home. She had to wait another month to before she was able to get into urologist again so had to go home with the cath. She came home for a home visit and was able without issue to get in her back door. A few weeks later would could not get her in the door, as she cried it hurt so much as they had twisted her knee and injured it in the nursing home. Since she has mild dementia she was not able to provide more details unfortunately other than they had twisted her knee. Her bed hurt her back. She came home in much worse shape than she was when in rehab. Social worker tried to pressure me she agree to care for her while they found someone to come in which I was not able to do but she continued to try and pressure me. Would be the last place I would put a loved one!

I am very proud to share this testimonial:
"Dear Jen, please pass this information on.
To the administration, staff, nurses, STNAs at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my dad. I have felt very confident and comfortable with his care over the last 13 months knowing that if there were any issues whatsoever, that I would be receiving a courteous phone call filling me in on what happened and what actions were going to be taken to deal with the situation. I am very satisfied with the compassionate, thorough and skilled care dad has received from nurses, therapist, aides, social service and the entire staff in general. My dad will be moving to another facility to be closer to family and not because we are unhappy with his care. Thank-you again for maintaining such a high standard of patient care during such a difficult time in history.

Thanks again, Sincerely.
Dave Clapsaddle"
