Had a wonderful surgery experience with an outgoing staff. They made sure I was safe and comfortable the whole way, start to finish. Thank you for making it a happy thing for me as I am absolutely afraid of surgery. Minimal scaring. Minimal pain. Happy patient!
Everytime I've come in I've had bad experiences i have 2 special needs kids and they are terrible with them the doctors are rude and snoody.... things like seizure care and sever breathing problems should not take 2 hours to even get a room and decide what you want to do nor should it ever take 3 hours for a lab result for 1 test to come back especially for sezuires..... last time I was in for myself I was told it was all in my head and I needed a higher pain tolerance went to my doctor that same week turns out I needed surgery and was then diagnosed with what had been causing my pain for months and bleeding that this er kept saying was just in my head or not that bad.... being understaffed and blaming the pandemic for not giving good care isn't good enough anymore I've been essential through the pandemic in the health field and never would me or my coworkers dream of being so rude
They were rude and very unprofessional they treated my family member who is mentally ill the worst I have never seen nurses so rude. They weren t very communicative either while they were taking care of their patent they were jerky and rough and it felt like they didn t even want to be there it s so sad that people have to rely on people like this!! I would never come here even if my life depended on it.
I went in there yesterday I was in so much pain I couldn t help but yell in agony and the nurse told me my behavior was unacceptable as there s other people on the waiting room so she told me to be quiet or to leave knowing it s the ONLY hospital in town!!!!!! If I can give this staff zero stars they would get it. They have a sense of sense of urgency or organization. When you get in the room everyone is waiting on everyone and no one gets the help they need on time. I ended up having to call an ambulance and I promise they will pay for that bill.
This review is only for the ER. Had to go 3 times within a couple weeks for them to find the kidney stone that was bothering me, they had a "specialist" come do the same thing their two employees did and he found it right away (on the third visit). Ended up having to go to Vegas for a procedure. They then billed me 500 dollars (mix up with my insurance, got it handled) even though it was their incompetence that made me have to go 3 times. Just a week ago they then bill me an additional 150 after I got everything handled with my insurance. It seems they just want to try and wring something from me for their mistake, which ended up costing me around 700 for the Vegas procedure. I dont owe KRMC anything, I shouldn't have had to go 3 times to the ER for the same kidney stone.
I was admitted for pneumonia and was in the hospital for 5 days. Care was excellent in every way. ( Nurses and Drs and all techs who treated me) . Food was the best I ever had in a hospital. I would recommend this hospital to anyone needing medical care.
If I could give 0 stars I would. First, I came in with my baby brother because he fell of a high bed and he couldn t move his arm so we took him to the ER. He had a fracture the doctors said they couldn t do anything and we would have to go to Vegas after 7 HOURS of waiting they told us that. So of course we get up and leave the nurse LAUREN starts arguing and acted like a child she even got in our faces. Sorry we wouldn t wait 4 HOURS for you to get an ambulance ready when we can drive and make it there in 2. Then she calls CPS we found out because the hospital in Vegas told us. But that s okay because my brother got the help he needed in Vegas and he s safe at home just to call cps for someone leaving your hospital after u saying u don t have the right equipment and it s a 4 hour wait on an ambulance just blows my mind. It s a small town, you ll get bad karma. You really need to educate yourself Lauren.
I'd love to leave the most horrible review of how my pregnant wife's visit was but complaining will do nothing when it's the only hospital around in the middle of this garbage desert. Just don't move here or live here and definitely don't get hurt or have a baby here. The worst hospital with the worst staff in the worst most garbage town in the entire world!
My experience was fantastic. I was there today for an upper GI Bleed and I was seen in the E.R. The staff was pleasant upon entry and I want to give a thank you to the lady out in the waiting area cleaning everything. I appreciated that she really cared about me and all who walks through their doors. I especially want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to RICHARD, my nurse, he was just outstanding and really cared about what I had to say. Dr. Pedersen and Dr. Sergent were really informative and made sure I got the proper treatment. I had just moved here from Tucson and was really reluctant to go to a hospital I wasn't familiar with but happy I did. Thank you Kingman Medical!
