We liked it so much we ate here twice during our visit to St. Augustine. Wonderful outdoor seating with water views of boats coming in and out of the marina. Lots of picnic tables. Food was delicious, good seafood menu. We loved the nachos on the sushi menu. The Painkiller was delicious. Worth the drive outside of the historic area to eat and drink here.
Had a wonderful meal of broiled scallops that were PERFECTLY prepared! It s very busy, so get here early and enjoy a cocktail with a view! Very attentive and friendly waitress. Beautiful views and great, reasonably priced seafood!
Great outdoor dining on the river. Excellent food, service was a little slow at first.
Loved the atmosphere, the staff was helpful, and respectful. A little breezy and our umbrella flew from our table and almost hit someone else's table. The food was great. I had shrimp and grits. Will definitely make that ride again. Loved it. And my mom moved it also,and i can never het her out to eat anywhere. So i know we will be returning.
Great surprise find. The 4 of us had wonderful meals while enjoying the sunset and listening to a band all while seated waterfront. Our waitress, Leah, was extremely attentive as well. We had a very enjoyable evening! Highly recommend this restaurant that is away from the maddening crowds.
Stopped into Kingfish after a day on the boat for the first time in a long time on Saturday and really glad I did! Enjoyed a terrific dinner with friends outside on a beautiful night with live music and excellent service. We started with sushi for our appetizers and pretty much all ordered seafood dishes that we raved about. I had the horseradish encrusted mahi and have been thinking about it ever since! Will definitely return again soon.
Wife and I wanted seafood so gave this a try. Started with some conch fritters for an appetizer. I went with fried shrimp, coleslaw and cheese grits. Wife had scallops, red beans n rice an coleslaw. My son had newyork strip, green beans and chef potatoes. Bland bland bland no seasoning whatsoever. Sons steak was mostly fat, was disappointed after reading the reviews. The waiter and hostess was very nice, a lot better then the one employee that had no manners as we were exiting the restaurant.
I had the blackened flounder and a side of cream legs. My husband had fried flounder and a side of shrimp. Drew was our waiter and he was great.
Nothing but positive things to say about this place. We stayed at the inn adjacent to Kingfish so figured, why not? Our server Corey was on point with all of our needs, the food was delivered promptly, the presentation was great, and the taste was amazing. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the day and time, but definitely worth checking out.
My family and I just had a wonderful dinner with a fantastic view. The seafood was excellent! The staff were polite and attentive. Special thanks to Samson, our server, and the music of Michael Chancelor.
