Kimrobinson Salon Review

To start, I would highly highly recommend Annie for a haircut. I have curly hair and I was afraid as I ve had bad experiences in the past but she said she could cut my hair and gave me a fantastic haircut. My mom also went with me the same day and got an amazing haircut from Annie.

Having said that, if you want to get a color job or toning I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL. After the initial consultation, they recommended Brian for hair color for both me and my mom and I ve never had a worse experience with hair color. He was very confident he could do toning and hair color for both of us (we have wavy and curly hair and he claimed to be an expert for textured hair). Instead, he just ruined both of our hair.

Personally, I had caramel hair color previously near the ends of my hair and I told him I just wanted to blend it to the top of my hair better since my hair had grown out. He claimed he could confidently do this but after he was done he just dyed my entire hair black with a few strands of orangey-brown on the inside.

Initially, he had said that if I was unhappy he could absolutely fix it if I went back. I was very unhappy so I went back a few days later and he said he did exactly what he had planned and there was no way to fix it without turning my entire hair orange. His attitude was awful and while his manager was extremely polite and offered a senior hair specialist to take a look, they all agreed that there was no way to fix what Brian had done.

Brian continued to argue that this is exactly what I had wanted, despite it being the opposite (I had mentioned several times that I did NOT want orange tones in my hair after bleaching). His attitude was just awful and ruined the entire experience. They gave a free treatment, I expect as some form of reimbursement for wasting my money and time and also ruining my hair but it was a terrible experience.

To anyone looking for hair color, do NOT go for Brian. While the haircut was fantastic I think their color specialist was awful and I would not go back for coloring.

I was at their salon last week with an appointment with their Creative Team stylist. I must say I enjoyed the experience and throughout the process he was professional and did a fabulous job!

I like the hair cut by the hair artist Annie very much and I am satisfied with it. She is very patient and will carefully match and create the best hairstyle for me every time. The service is also very good, I am very satisfied. Heightly recommended that everyone can look for hair artist Annie .

Stylist ryan was able to identify my hair problem as compared to other stylist.The assistant who did the shampooing was good cos i hardly find anyone who din make me laugh during shampoo.

This place is truly swanky. Haircuts done in semi private rooms depending on grade of stylists you choose. Separate coloring area with knowledgeble colourist. Prices are super high end.

I was quoted $168 for a haircut when I called to book an appointment with them, after which I went into the salon and got my treatment. It was a very average haircut/blow dry. At the counter while paying, the person at the reception was rude and insisted that he said the price was $198. I did not want to haggle for the extra $30 so I paid and said that I would not come back to the clinic in the future. He was aggressive, arrogant and nonchalant. I have to say it was a very distressing experience and I was unhappy with the way they treat their customers.

This was a one time experience for me but it was not worth it. There was nothing special about their haircuts.The stylist were just young and inexperience. You can get much better haircuts just paying $10.
