If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or a special occasion you need to book Kimberly Kay Photography! My husband and I booked Kim to do our engagement and wedding photos and we honestly couldn t be happier with the way they both turned out.
For our engagement pictures we wanted to take them near Sisters because we love the area. After telling Kim this she said she had the perfect area, and she absolutely did! She took us to a location where you could see the Sisters beautifully, it was the perfect backdrop to our engagement shoot. The pictures she took were all so stunning and we had so many options to choose from for our save the dates.
After seeing our engagement pictures I knew our wedding photos were going to be gorgeous and it was honestly relieving to have one less thing to worry about. I knew that portion of our wedding was in the best of hands and I just couldn t wait to see the finished product, and they were stunning! We were hoping for a wedding in the snow at Broken Top in January. Although it didn t snow at the venue that day Kim was more than willing to take us to a location that had plenty of snow and we got the exact pictures I was hoping for. I am so happy with all of the pictures taken on our special day, and so is our family! Kim has an incredible eye and I cannot wait to use her for all of our special events in the future! We chose to work with Kimberly Kay Photography because her photos were breathtakingly beautiful and timeless. We love how she captured the WHOLE picture, making us look like a part of the scenic beauty around us! I can't say enough great things about working with Kim and her team and how personable and helpful they were on the day of the wedding! If you decide on a package with an engagement shoot, it's wonderful because you really get to know her beforehand and see how she works to get the perfect photo! Kimberly well exceeded our expectations. We were waiting for the final photos with so much anticipation and we got them today! My husband and I were in awe of our wedding day captured from her perspective. She is a true artist and was an absolute joy to be around. Would recommend her to others in a heart beat.

Kimberly is the absolute BEST choice for all of your photography needs! She shot my wedding and reception and the photos were completely breathtaking, stunning, and timeless. She captured every single moment, even the little details of my dress, flowers, decorations, and our rings. Most wedding pictures I ve seen seem staged and posed but Kimberly s work is natural and some of my favorite photos are the ones we didn t even know she was taking! I also did a boudoir photo shoot with her, and they were the perfect mix of sexy and tease. She has so many ideas and inspirations, so your photos will be completely unique! Where to begin?! Kimberly Kay has been such a monumental part of my life, starting with senior photos back in 2007, my engagement in 2013, my wedding in 2014, our birth announcement and c-section in 2017 and our most recent family photos in 2018. She goes above and beyond for every thing she does, her husband has helped entertain my little guy with cheerios on several occasions, she has captured the birth of my son in a way I couldn't have even imagined, and the quality of the pictures is stunning. Kimberly always takes the best care of her clients, is prompt in getting out her images, and is more wonderful than words can say to work with. I would highly, highly recommend working with her!!

The best decision I made for my wedding was choosing Kimberly! Even when other wedding things didn t go according to plan I didn t stress about it at all because I knew at the end of the day I d be married and have amazing photos. We are so lucky to have hired Kimberley to photograph our big day. Out of all the decisions we had to make for our wedding she was by far the best and easiest choice. I had admired her timeless work for years and feel grateful we were able to hire her thanks to the different packages she offered. Since this was a destination wedding for us, we were a bit worried about what photographer to choose, what the weather would be like and all the contributing stress that goes into planning a wedding. Once we met her in Seattle for our engagement photos we knew we were in great hands. She was so friendly and all our reservations disappeared. Kimberly is an absolute rockstar and the ultimate pro! We talked to several different wedding photographers at the start of our wedding planning and as soon as we talked to Kimberly, we knew it was a perfect fit. Hearing about her experience, approach to shooting weddings, and passion for photography gave us the utmost confidence that she was the perfect person to capture our big day and she exceeded our (already high) expectations!

Kimberly truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process! She and her husband traveled up to Seattle to shoot our engagement photos and we had a wonderful time! This experience was so valuable because it helped us get comfortable in front of the camera before our wedding. We got so many wonderful shots that we had a hard time choosing which ones we would include on our save the dates and wedding website.

And on the day of our wedding she truly shined! She corralled all of our family members to make sure we got all of the family photos we wanted, set aside time for us to get sunset photos in a spectacular setting, and I never had to worry about taking pictures myself or about whether a certain moment was going to be captured because I had the utmost confidence in Kimberly and her second shooter, Rob. She also generously offered to have her husband video our ceremony when she found out my grandparents couldn t come at the last minute because of health reasons.

Kimberly does lovely work. She is extremely reliable and produces pictures in a very timely manner. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. She has a passion and a style that sets her above the rest. She captured every detail of our wedding day.

If you are looking for a photographer whose artistry speaks of both talent and dedication, look no further. Once we saw her work from shooting a friend s wedding, our intuition told us that she was the perfect fit for capturing what would be one of our most special days! She exceeded our expectations not just in the top-notch work she consistently produced but also in the character that makes up who she is.

We still get the fluttery feeling when looking at our engagement and wedding photos even though it is almost one year later. We attribute that to not only the newlywed phase but also to how blown away we are at her insights. Despite the tricky venue due to smoky air coupled with overcast light, she capitalized on the unique lighting opportunities and different ways to focus or soften to capture a moment or feeling. In looking through our photos, it was also clear that she saw the importance of all things big and small, from the landscape surroundings to the close-ups of hugs and priceless expressions.

Equally important to the product was her work style, effort, and commitment. Kimberly was responsive, thoughtful, and a joy to work with throughout the process including preliminary introductions/questions, the engagement shoot, the big day, and even after! As a couple who has never worked with a photographer before, we were nervous simply to be in front of the camera (never mind all of the other things related to weddings!). Her humor and positive energy carried us through our nervousness despite the long round trips she had to make for each of our events.

She got us to bring out our best selves; how down-to-earth and not afraid of adventure she was really helped with that. During our engagement shoot, she toughed out a warm day on a ranch, was so gracious when meeting family, and mastered awkward shooting positions among the trees and presents left behind by cattle to get the best angles she could for us. On wedding day, she surprised us by bringing even more people to support than anticipated. Her team was prompt and wasted no time getting into action. We loved that she knew what to look for in getting the shots she knew we would want (we needed help being posed :-) ), knew which candid moments would be priceless, and loved that she was adaptable in wanting to know what was important for us to prioritize.

Kimberly is someone who allowed us one less thing to stress about leading up to and during our wedding critical for putting things into perspective and even went beyond that to offer one more thing about our wedding that we truly enjoyed.
