Unprofessional staff of this facility calling 911 on a journalist filming on a public road. Shame on you! The staff needs to be educated on civil rights and the Constitution.

An older closed-loop pressurized water nuclear reactor. just a few miles down the road is a more impressive Point Beach (in Two Rivers) dual-reactor unit operated by Wisconsin Energy.

The Kewaunee power plant has, from my understanding, been decommissioned or significantly reduced to a minimal capacity.

Another clean and safe nuclear plant lost to the fossil fuel deep pockets. It's sad to see this plant being decommissioned as it was always ran so well. Hopefully Wisconsin will build another nuclear plant soon!

Top ranked and safest clean energy plant in the US prior to reaching its end of economic life. Currently in dormancy undergoing decommissioning. Not really a destination, per se, and not sure why it's even in Google Maps. For that matter, not sure why I'm even leaving this review.
