I had to have surgery to have a cyst removed yesterday and the nurses were awesome! They could tell I was a little nervous but they talked me through everything and made sure I had everything I needed. The anesthesiologist was awesome as well and made sure to tell me everything that would happen before it did. I had a great experience and was thankful for the staff that helped me feel relaxed and comfortable!

Kershaw Health is a poor excuse for care ! My elderly mother was treated worse than a dog. She was left on the toilet for 45 mins for a nurse to go get a diaper for her and the nurse NEVER came back, my mom had to work her way back to her bed alone. She is a fall risk and was NOT supposed to have to do that. The room was NASTY, blood fromt daily medications until she had an episode with severe chest pains, 3 nitroglycerin pills and her blood pressure was way too high. She normally takes 3 blood pressure pills daily at home and has for over 20 yrs. She could have had a stroke or went into cardiac arrest and Kershaw Health would have been responsible. She would call for a nurse to help her to the bathroom and wait 35 to 45 mins and one not show up and a family member happen to show up for a visit and them have to take her. Her bed alarm was not put on but one time during her 4 day stay and that was After I spoke with Administration about ALL the issues. They promised her stay would be better from that minute on and she was there another day and a half day and it never improved. All it was was broken promises. Kershaw Health treated her poorly. It was a case of elderly abuse instead of care. I hope none of my family has to ever be seen in this so called facility ever again. No wonder there is so much disease, mrsa, infections and sickness when a room doesn't get cleaned.

Showed up for second Covid vaccine and was told vaccines were being given at a different location. Ok, only 8 minutes away. We got there and they had given us the wrong address. Fortunately, the correct address was just 2 doors down. We walk over and there is nobody there. So we call the hospital back and were informed that vaccinations were cancelled b/c they didn t get there shipment. They said they called but neither of us have any calls from them in our phones. So we call and they apologized and rescheduled us. Fortunately, we found another location 18 miles away that had the vaccine and 3 openings left. Both facilities are in the same health care system. How does this happen?

My 13 year old daughter came in the ER by ambulance and everyone that saw us was extremely nice. The nurse she had, I didn t get her name because I was worried and focused on my daughter, was awesome!!! The doctor that she saw was great. They made us feel very comfortable and eased our fears! We were extremely pleased with our experience!!

They sent my mom with Alzheimer's dementia back to the home after being involuntary admitted. They were told she is aggressive and violent towards my dad who lives in the house. They could have sent her to a lockdown nursing facility. Long story short, my dad is in the hospital with his heart because of the stress of the situation. Do not trust these people.

Staff in ER are super rude. Due to Covid, family has to wait outside. Completely understandable. We re waiting in the car. An hr and a half goes by. I ve called three times with no answer. Finally the Attending nurse says it s only been an hour and a half, the doctor hasn t decided if he s going to admit patient what!? Smh to top it off she was rude and snarky

Would not have given any stars if that was an option. On 9/1/20 I went to ER for an allergic reaction to a medication...full blown body rash, lips numb and scratchy throat. When I entered there was no one in site or waiting. Like a ghost town. No one was there either checking temps for Covid, etc.
I had to knock on a glass window for help. Took a few minutes. Then greeted very unprofessionally by a woman who said they were dealing with an emergency in back...hmm, really? I explained my situation and the urgency to see a triage nurse quickly. She never once looked up at me, shoved a stack if papers at me and told me to have a seat....I am a RN myself. This was urgent!!
The security guard looked like some freak and just kept saying "yes mam" repeatedly every time I spoke...crazy! I left and would not ever recommend this place to anyone with a real emergency. Terrible!!!! I could have died. Ended up at Baptist ER for treatment.
Besides...no Covid precautions...told me to keep on my mask and they would get my temp in "the back"...by then I could have exposed everybody if I had it or was a carrier. Now I know exactly why Camden had been a hotspot for cases!!!!! Unbelievable!

Don t go here if you need stitches for any reason....

Don t go here if you need stitches for any reason. They let some grad student who didn t even know how to tie a knot stitch my arm up. There s going to be a terrible scar from how bad she did and it became infected. They are going to use you to teach a kid who has no clue what they re doing.

Update: the doctor who took them out said they are some of the worst stitches he has ever seen and I may need to see a wound specialist to heal it properly now.
