The service Kerr & Co provides us as managing agent is truly excellent.

My managing agent is clear, responsive, pragmatic, helpful and a pleasure to call. He supported me with two incidents in just one month in my property with clear advice and actions. It was invaluable in such a stressful time.

Went to a viewing and wanted to book a second one for the next day to show my partner but the female agent didn t want to write it in her diary she had on her even though I offered her a pen as she didn t have her one just saying she ll remember tomorrow and the time in head. The next day arrives so I turn up at the property but there s no sign of her so ring the office to be told that it s already been let and should ve been contacted and that the agent is on her day off. Very unprofessional as it was a total waste of my journey and day. A simple text or phone call letting me know an offer had been put through the day before would ve been appreciated. Next time I suggest making use of a pen or cancelling viewings if properties go off the market not wasting people s time.

We saw their board late one evening and went on line to request a viewing. This was replied to the next day by David and we were viewing within 36 hours, with Guy. We offered on the property the next day as did 5 others. The process of increased offers was transparent, with a clear 24-hour deadline. We were lucky enough to be the highest increased offer and David phoned us immediately with the good news. Additional access, to show architect and our two sons, was given easily and promptly. The whole sales-progressing was handled expertly by Kerrs. An additional bonus was the removal of the SOLD board within days of our completion! Unheard of in our experience. We are delighted to highly recommend this privately-run agency. Thank you David and Chris.

I met with Mrs Ewelina the other day (viewed property on behalf of my father)
She was exceptionally pleasant well dressed and knew exactly what I wanted.
This young lady went above and beyond to help.
Given me all the information I needed so I didn t need to call and ask for more information.
Customer service was outstanding there was no pressure at all!!
I have called the office a couple of times the staff have been understanding and listened.
No issues at all the this estate agents. Highly recommend Ewelina at Kerr & co.

Very poor service after you sign the contract.

They delay to allocate resources, they propose works that they are not relevant to the problem (we were asked to provide access for a damp proof course when this was not needed - I am an engineer and I have found the correct solution saving the owner some thousands of pounds)

1. Leak in the basement which took them almost a week to send somebody 2. Damp in the basement last year and up to now the decoration hasn't finished. They wanted to charge you a damp proof course which is time consuming and really expensive while we didn't need one. It was me who found the solution as I am an engineer 3. Leak from the roof. I noticed a leak in the area between the two veluxes almost at the very beginning, they sent someone quick enough and they said that there were some leaves blocking the downpipe. I raised my concerns back then but this was in vain. Last week the roofer came and I showed him the exact problem as there is a patch on the roof which wasn't fitted correctly.

There are many more problems to mention (apart from their behaviour which is not professional and abrupt) but the main problem is the blinds. We are now in the 10th week with no blinds which means: 1. no privacy 2. the room turns into a green house 3. we cannot stay in the lounge before 11.00 as the sun directs the rays directly inside the flat 4. the rays goes directly on the furniture, tv etc which might damage them 5. I have a dog and the other day was almost 32 degrees in the flat

They blame the 10 weeks of delay in the 5 days delay in the rent payment which is a very cheap excuse

I am a first time buyer and made an offer to a flat they were advertising right before the outbreak. In my opinion they are pushy sales guys, that did not hesitate to minimize the covid19 uncertainty as well as renovation efforts, in order to make a sale!

Advice to management: you should honour people's decision when they decide to pull out of a sale rather than pushing. You're neither pandemic specialists, nor building engineers, and should leave these topics in the hands of real experts!
