Just had a fantastic break in Kelly's. Quality food and lots of it.... Fine wine.... Fun entertainment.... So much to do and so many combinations of R&R.... But best of all the staff are so good, friendly attentive, and work so hard to make Kelly's such a fantastic place... Thank you all.... Can't wait to come back

I wanted to book a treatment in the sea spa but it was fully booked so I went onto the waiting list. It was a great Idea to do so as I got an appointment through cancellation. I had an amazing sports massage with Simon and I am feeling the benefits for it. I had previously had a sports massage with Ashling a couple of months ago also which was also amazing and felt the benefits of that massage too. Highly recommend the sea spa and the team. The thermal area was amazing as always everything you would expect as for the thermal pool it is excellent as it acts as not only a treatment in itself but a flotation pool due to the salt content creating a buoyancy to allow you to float and relax.

Kelly's is a fantastic place to visit. You're very well taken care of by the staff. If you eat in the restaurant be sure to ask Paul about his cat. There's plenty of things to do and the beach is very close by too. Highly recommended

What an amazing place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is awesome and the rooms are quite nice. My son loved the kids club and so did we as we got time for ourselves. The resort looks out over the Irish Sea and there is a fun putt putt course. I think we are already saving up to book our next vacation there.

You can't get much closer to the sea, with the windows open you can hear the waves. Staff have always been helpful and friendly, the room has a great view (may not apply to the ground floor). Grounds are well kept with seating and loungers to allow you to relax in the sunshine (when we get it). This is the "sunny South East" so you stand a better chance than most at Kelly's. We've been lucky for 4 years, long may it continue.

Loved the interior, the opportunity to put my feet up in a lounger and read if I wanted to. All staff members were so pleasant, polite and helpful. The food was delicious. Music, especially on one of the nights I stayed, was great. All Covid regulations were adhered to, including temperature facility at entrance. Guests also took precautions, but at the same time a buoyant and happy atmosphere existed.

Fabulous hotel and we four booked to attend The Three Tenors meal and entertainment package last Sunday 21st August.
The meal was excellent with not a murmur of complaint from the normally picky eaters.
The menu variety was extensive with all tastes catered to and the waitress was kindness herself giving us the outstanding service that Kellys is known for.
The music started promptly at 9.30 and the singers were excellent with opera, musicals, irish songs and some well known pop also. We are aged 28 to 74 yrs so we were delighted with the song choices. The audience was apprecative and we were all singing, though not aswell!, at the end.
We had a wonderful night and we all hope to see The Three Tenors back at Kellys Hotel again soon.

The positives, great staff, it's very clean, the breakfast and the billards room. The negatives, THE PRICE, other than the prawn / scallop pasta dish the food was no better than average, kids playground, whatever band played on Wednesday night (crazy loud).
Had the price been half of what it is one could justify the failings, but at 500 per night it comes no where near the standard expected. The dinners (3 courses) were not good, starter was served all 3 nights within 2 minutes of placing our order, the desserts, I'm guessing here, were not prepared on site, I acknowledge with covid things might be tougher but the food was a very generous 2 stars at best.
My grandparents raved about Kelly's, my mother still does, unfortunately i believe Kelly's is living off past glory and needs urgent fresh ideas, particularly regarding kids playground facility.
Bottom line, while it is not a bad holiday, there is no way you could justify the price with so many other better options out there at a fraction of the price.

Nice spot bit odd seeing so many people in robes walking about the hotel . Staff are very nice and helpful
Dinner was very nice.
Negative.. very little sockets in our room and our room faced the car Park but couldn't leave curtains open as you could see into the room from the road . A net Curtin would have been good.

Had an ok time. The family bedrooms are very small, a double bed and two singles squashed in together. You wont want to spend any time in them. It is very overpriced for what it is but there is a lack of family hotels in Ireland. The staff however are what make it and are very good.

This family run business personifies the best of Irish hospitality as it has done for generations. Cead mile failte (a hundred thousand welcomes) is as true today as it was 50 years ago when I first met them and probably 124 years ago when they first opened.

I have had to resubmit this review as it was not fully accurate. Myself and my wife have been coming to kellys for more than 5 years sometimes 2 to 3 times a week for dinner and no the staff well. A few months ago I got the name of one of there staff wrong Andrew and he told me "get my name wrong again and i will kill you". During a complaint to Bill Kelly I explained this and he said look he was probably joking and he is new but a nice guy. My wife heard him say it and it was not said with a smile however I let the situation pass. We decided yesterday to go for a special dinner and booked the restaurant and I had flowers delivered to the reception as it was our 7th wedding Anniversary . Staff at this point were helpful. Dinner for me the main was bland and uninspiring however the starter and desert were good but at nearly 170 euro for dinner not what I expected. After dinner we went to the bar and I sat down with a glass of wine with my wife. After approx a few minutes the same staff member mentioned above walked up to me and smacked my inner leg hard and twice and walked off without a word. Myself and my wife stared in utter shock at each other. I then witnessed the staff member face with his back away from us chatting to other staff. I immediately got up approached him and told him never to touch me again to which he replied "this is what we do here in Ireland and i know you'. I'm English but have never in 40 years had a staff member strike me. I explained that is not how it is done any where and I do not know you to an extent that you can do that. I got no apology and I left and complained to the manager who came back to me and explained he was only messing around and was sorry but he would call me in the morning to go over the incident but did not look that shocked.

I subsequently left and called the Gardi at home who will now investigate the matter. I asked twice if there were cameras in the bar and no one would confirm if it covered the area this happened I also called today to speak to management but no one was available . Also Laura Kelly responded to my last review claiming I had a vendetta against the hotel and I was not welcome back. Well Laura I most certainly will not be back if without investigation and for no reason you claim I have a vendetta when your staff treat clients in this disgusting way. I have called the hotel and will await your call. I also suggest you let the Gardi do there job before claiming Vendettas which are untrue and just an effort to deflect the serious nature of the events which i will pursue with vigour.

I will once I have made a statement to Gardi be contacting my solicitor as after spending 250 euro in your hotel have been treated with such distain. No one called me today instead just responded with untrue allegations in order to somehow play down this matter. I will also be requesting the camera footage of the bar.

Lovely quaint place with friendly staff and a wonderful spa. The car park is across the road from the entrances so set down situation is not ideal but once inside, the views and ambience give an immediate sense of relaxation and insulation from the elements.

Kelly's Spa is great. Friendly, professional and excellent service. I had a full body massage, lunch and facial. Only thing I didn't like you have to go to the main buffet area in your robe, lunch is no longer served in the spa relaxing room.
