I used to work at kfc and ever since kpb bought it out its been going down hill. Serving old chicken, running skeleton crews, we didn't even have a working vacuum so we couldn't clean the floors properly. Overall the company only cares about money and not the employees. Here's your one star
The entire company seems corrupt to me. For the actual good parents out there don't have your children work for any locations from this company. The managers have been here for a while. So no matter how rude, nasty and unprofessional they are they will still have a job. The ones above these managers clearly are protecting them. Most of these managers are rude to employees and customers. Best word for it is "ghetto." When starting here don't be surprised if you never got told about the pay rate and the pay frequency. You'll be thrown in to work with little training. And when you do something you have no knowledge of you will get chewed out for it. Great workers don't belong at messy places like these. Corporate doesn't care and it shows in the stores. I can write details about my experience but it's not even worth it. Way too much and I'm sure nothing will get addressed. I only wrote enough to save anyone else from a nightmare.
Migrated after they bought out my previous organization, they sell based on being good people and making sure you get to spend time
with your families and at the end of the day it s nothing that they advertise to be, in fact when my managers did a walk out I worked 105 hours and was only paid for 50, so in that case labor laws in the state I was located in were not only broke but I wasn t compensated for my time. Before I ended up quitting members of my staff including myself were not being paid on time for the hours they worked & it currently is continuing to happen. If you can actually hit the numbers and hold up to there expectations then you could make some really good money but if you can t don t be surprised if your not replaced by somebody who is from another state.
Need contact now my girlfriend will possibly be hiring someone to look into the case that has happened to her with this new guy that has been transferred to take over . He has made many people quit and there is a list of things if is falsifying right now including sending people home for zero reason. Not a good company to work for. Store Managers falsify numbers to cover their tracks and shift the blame on shift supervisors. They work you like a slave for little pay. Transfer you without no prior knowledge and no reason. On top of that, they don't like to pay you what they owe you once you leave them! Talking from experiences I'm going through now with them!
Managing skills there are very poor. Attitude are nasty and they have no respect for the public
My husband and I worked for this franchise, him for 4 years and myself just a few months and it was hands down the worst company we have ever worked for!!! If you are not in the clique with certain people, the big fat lady that runs things, you are not living any kind of life except being their bi****!! They fired me because I refused to stay open for 4 hours when I was the only person in the store, I had called them hours prior to being the only one and nobody came to help so I texted my Area Coach and explained I didn t feel safe, I m a woman by myself in the store, and that I was shutting it down. Now fast forward a few months and my husband got wrote up because he was the only person in the store and that against KBP Standers . It was a blessing they fired me cause I was never properly trained and was working 65-70 hours a week with no help from upper management. Months later the same Area Coach failed the audit on purpose at my husbands store and still nothing happened. My husband contacted HR because the AC was in the store telling the employees a bunch of lies. Needless to say they fired my husband after 4 years of nothing but loyalty. If you are no sleeping with the boss or kissing the bosses butt you will get NOWHERE with this company. Instead of KBP Cares it should be KBP doesn t care!!! Don t waste ur time working for these ignorant people. Go somewhere where they actually appreciate you!
My daughter worked at a Taco Bell franchise for a brief time. After three different experiences of the opening manager not showing up to open, I told my daughter she could no longer work there, and there would be other places for her to work with more reliable managers. Her final paycheck was supposed to be on a paycard, not a paper check; however, the manager who wasn't showing up was apparently the manager who was supposed to set the paycard up, and it has not been. My 15-year old daughter has almost $500 in pay due her - she can see the paystub, but can't receive the money. I have tried calling KBP Foods directly, only to keep leaving voicemails. I have messaged them on their Facebook page, with no reply as of this writing. I won't give up on behalf of my daughter, but she can't wrap her head around the fact that people treat hard-working young people like this. Not the way to get loyal employees!
They purchased the KFC restaurants in Northern Kentucky and within a very short time I noticed the quality of food declined. It s not shocking because they made them run skeleton crews to make more money.
Our daughter use to be a manager there. The joke between my husband and I was that we had to coordinate with her so when we die, we do it on her rare day off.
So don t just walk away.....RUN!!! There are lots of jobs out there. And lots of places that treat you with respect instead of dirt beneath their feet. This place is not one of them.
