Literally the WORST EMPLOYEES & JAIL. They hold inmates there much longer than they should be. Multiple inmates may have the same exact charge w/ different bond amounts. By law inmates are supposed to be seen by a doctor within 1 week. They swear it happens, but it doesn't! Every staff will give u a different answer. Nurses don't know names of medication....this jail is strictly in it for the $$$$. Even the WORST county jail doesn't compare to the idiots they have running this jail. Their website is down on a daily basis...something needs to change in Kaufman. Maybe the people they hire???

Deputy Connor Martin is a disgrace for how he handled Nikia situation. Everyone go look it up. Straight up harassing innocent people. This department defended his actions too even though an innocent person told them they were fine and needed no help. This rascal grabbed her arm and brutalized her. Videos online. ALSO THEY USE TACTICS LIKE PRETEND BODY CAMS FELL OFF.

This county jail has serious problems, from a subcontractor providing meals that don't meet the caloric requirements. Most inmates loose 2-3 pounds a week during their stay.. guards who are poorly trained, unsanitary conditions, they will refuse any correspondence thats printed of standard copy paper. All letters to inmates must be hand written, or will be returned to sender... So a letter, typed up on your lap top, and printed on your printer, and mailed to an inmate is contraband at this one jail, and every other facility in the state would accept it with out any issues.. Forget the fact that they take forever to give you any correspondence that arrives for you.. This place is grossly mismanaged from top to bottom, just waiting to be sued..

Attention! These people are very greedy and only here for there checks, they could care less about justice and helping the citizens out,you should see how they treat people in kaufman jail. its so terrible i just wanna move from here so badly i used too like living here but so much has changed from before, the cops have turned crooked dont let them fool you! May god be with us all

Spent the night here with an open cut below my eye that they wouldn't clean, staff members were unprofessional, and slow at everything. One guy already went to court and had a bondsman waiting but couldn't leave because they hadn't even booked him in which is one of the first things that SHOULD happen when you enter jail but they took 3 days. Even when I was released I was treated with no respect.

We called for Police. They came quickly. They were professional and compassionate. After son was transported to hospital they stayed in the area and caught the suspect and made the arrest. They called back later to check up on my son. Excellent job.

Needed help with identity theft. Sheriffs office responded quickly and professionally. Feels great knowing deputy Hohenberger is out there watching out for my family and community. Blue lives matter!

Conner Martin's actions against Nekia Trigg and her mother, Mrs. Ray have put good police officers in danger as hatred is directed against them also. A retired Chcago police officer, Carlos Yanez Sr. whose son Carlos Yanez Jr., an in-service officer was seriously injured and his partner P.O. Ella French killed in the line of duty said, as reported in the Chicago Sun Times of 8/18/2021 "It's one officer that committed a crime. Even doctors make mistakes and they're sued. But they're not all washed with the same brush that they're all bad."

They're horrible and should be ashamed of themselves.
