You're a coffee drinker this is the place for you. They have self guided tours, a small Cafe, and you get to drink and Sample all the coffee you want. Nice people to talk to and inform you about their Kauai coffee selections and by the end of your visit you get the walk away with as much coffee as you'd like to buy.
Awesome place for AMAZING coffee! Their flavored coffees are so so good. The staff are very helpful with guiding & explaining the FREE coffee samples :) there is a tour and a gift shop. It's an awesome place to get souvenirs & coffee bags as gifts for other
Bought some of the K-cups and gave as a gift. They loved it! You can sample all the coffee there, and they have snacks and ice cream too!
Interesting stop while visiting Kauai. The self-guided tour explains from coffee bean to brew. The samples are delicious and bottomless! The gift shop has a wide variety of items from which to choose. There is a snack bar if you want to get a sandwhich or something other than coffee to drink. The staff is friendly and courteous. Nice deck for sitting and enjoying the coffee and fun cut-out to take pictures.
Really informative signs about coffee, had alot of free coffee samples, lots of parking, and a nice little gift shop.
It's a nice little stop.
Neat to see a coffee plantation if you haven't seen one before. Don't need to spend more than 30 to 45 minutes here unless you are doing one of their tours.
You could taste many varieties of their coffee to taste
Delicious ice cream. So enjoyed.
Really cool little shop. You can do the self guided walk around the area which has plenty of informative signs to teach you about how coffee is grown on Kauai and different varieties of coffee. There is also hourly free guided tours if you prefer to do it that way (those take longer).
Tons of free coffee samples to try, plus a coffee bar and the store. Lots of parking and easy to find.
I'm obsessed with Kauai coffee so I always end up going here to stock up on my favourites (hello coconut caramel crunch and vanilla macadamia nut) to line my suitcase with on the flight home.
Free coffee samples, nice courteous staff. Easy to get to
We walked the self guided tour which took about 20 minutes. This is a lovely place to spend an hour or 2.
Great for coffee lovers. Loads of different blends to try in the shop, and an interesting place to visit.
Fun to visit! They do free short tours, check the times and attend, but plan extra time to wander around by yourself also. The coffee bushes are neat to see, the shop has fun stuff, they have coffee samples, and a little coffee bar where you can get fun stuff like coffee ice cream and try samples of the coffee butter.... A GREAT visit if you are over at the part of the island! (I probably wouldn't drive over there JUST for this but there's a lot of other fun stuff over there, like Waimeia.)
This is a great place to visit if you are a coffee drinker. They offer free tasting samples of 32 different coffee flavors and an up close view of the coffee plant.
Great tour! Very knowledgeable staff!
Live 30 minute tour much better than walking tour.
Very good tour. Lots of great coffees to sample and purchase. Coffee is as good or better than the "better known" other islands coffee ( been there also).
Really cool little place. There is a self guided tour which is very short and you get to taste all their coffee in their tasting room.
Only like 40 flavors of coffee... Every coffee lovers dream!
Cute gift shop with even better coffee. They have tons of samples to try the different flavors with some unique flavors like Coconut Carmel. Highly recommend getting the Kauai Coffee ice cream it is amazing!!
Fantastic coffee. Fun place to stop while visiting the island.
Outstanding tour guide -- Genny! We learned so much about coffee & it's origin & production. Ended up purchasing the Coffee Club. Well worth the tour & visit!
If you are a coffee lover this is a must place to stop when on the island of Kauai. There is a self guided tour of the coffee plantation and a great gift shop where you can taste all the different varieties of coffee created on this lovely island. The bake shop also have many other great things to eat. A fantastic place to stop on your way out to the Waimea Canyon. Located up above the small town of Hanapepe a fantastic place to buy the best coffee on the planet.
Friendly staff, lots of deals on products and souvenirs. Tours bot available right now due to COVID, but the shop is open!
Wonderful place to visit, had a frappacino, ice cream, coffee tastings.
Coffee was amazing & the staff was extremely friendly! Would recommend to everyone!!
Touristy place but they still have really good coffee. I especially liked that you could taste all the coffee before you bought it.
worth a visit; lots of interesting information on how coffee is grown and processed
WOW if you visit kauai, i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place. Especially if you love coffee as much as I do, this is a totally new and wonderful experience
Pros:
-there are free tours about every 30 minutes to an hour and the tour guide is so informative, funny, and very kind, and he tells you many interesting fun facts
-the area where the coffee beans are being grown on the trees is BEAUTIFUL. you could even see the beans being roasted and different equipment going into making coffee beans
-there are free samples of coffee!! there were about like 10 different coffees that you could taste and they all were delicious
-they even have a coffee shop where you can buy beans, which is why my family bought 11 bags for our friends bag at home! it was that good!
-no cons. the tour itself was free and samples were free and i didn't know i could have this much of an informative great experience for free!! HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be going back if i visit kauai again!
Free samples of coffee and a free tour? Don't mind if I do! Second time visiting this wonderful place.
This was a great place to visit. Lots of coffee to sample.
Great complementary tour - very informative. The free coffee tastings allowed us to hone in on our favorites! Wonderful experience.
Clean and well organized gift shop, really awesome tasting/coffee bar patio area, the museum was very neat. I wish we had more time for the tour!
The coffee we tasted, there wasn't any flavor that really stood out as 'need to buy'.
Friendly staff
Very interesting to learn and taste different coffees and see the plants and processing
So fun to visit. Free coffee samples, great gift shop, and a cafe to grab snacks at. You could visit 15 minutes or an hour.
So fun! Great education, fun walk around tour and TONS of amazing coffee to try for free!
Good place, makes for a nice stop in the morning. Self guided coffee tour is pretty informative.
Great coffee, however, the women working in the store were the epitome of rude. By far, the worst customer service we experienced the whole time on the island. I wish their customer service was as good as the coffee!
Drank so much coffee and enjoyed the free buzz. Had some coffee ice cream and bought some more for the road. I chose the self tour and it was just perfect. It was a fun little pit stop.
Old school and very cool. If you're a Java person, this is a must.
I love this place. Visit every time I'm on Kauai. A must do for everyone visiting the island. Coffee samples are great. Plenty of coffee to take back home.
I found the coffee plantation on Pinterest so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. The tour guide was very informed and gave us a plantation history rich in detail. Coffee tasting was amazing! They had many different types of coffee to satisfy any taste bud.
We did the self guided tour, but guided tours are also available. It was interesting to read the history of coffee on Kaua'i. We were impressed with the size of the farm. The video about the farm was a nice addition. The coffee is excellent. They have a tasting after the tour. I'm pretty sure my husband drank all the coffee they had to offer! Another great thing is that they can ship the coffee home for you; one less thing to pack in the bags going home! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We loved sampling all of the flavors. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and had a great since of humor.
Learned so much about coffee.
Great coffee samples, all kinds of drinks from the cafe as well.
Free coffee tasting. Free tours. Shop with reasonable prices...
Gave a 4 because I did not like any of the coffees I tried (included espresso from the shop).
Super friendly staff, delicious coffee and chocolate covered beans, and beautiful grounds with a great self guided tour. What more could you ask for? As you can tell, I loved my visit and highly recommend a stop, even if you're a tea drinker like myself!
Super clean and adorable. Self guided or guided tours through the coffee farm, cute gift shop with unique gifts, free coffee taste testing, and best of all, an AMAZING coffee bar with some of the beer coffee I've ever had. I would go every day if I lived here. 100% worth the drive. Definitely add this place to your visit.
Stop by for tasting. Strong coffee. I got a buzz off of it. They have a snack/coffee bar here. Self tour or follow the free tour. I learned a lot but then I'm not your typical coffee drinker. There's a small museum and a gift shop as well. Drink up!
Great FREE tour/coffee tasting. I love their part about not keeping coffee in the freezer too. Props!
We definitely got our Caffeine on ... Beautiful coffee plantation on the beach. Our favorite cup is the Peabody.
This is some of the best coffee ever. You can sample a whole bunch of different ones, and there is a very cool your where you learn a lot about coffee. This is definitely worth stopping in if you re in the area!
Hyped as a tourist attraction for visitors to Kaua'i, it scores low. Interesting is the agricultural and historic info. Not a destination, go for take-out lunch and combine it on the way back from your real trip. Includes tasting and tourist shop. Easy to find. Free parking available.
Great coffee with an excellent experience. Beautiful museum and gift shop. They offer tours of the plant as well. Taste the different coffee blends and by a few bags and some souvenirs.
Free samples of practically every flavor coffee they have
Fun, informative tour with great coffee samples. Friendly Aloha staff.
One of my favorite tours on Kauai. Prepare to wake your senses and taste buds.
What a beautiful location! The farm was surrounded by blooming flowering bushes!!! Little store in the front, coffee shop in the back with stands where you can taste all of the varieties of coffee that they have!
Honestly pretty disappointed with this place. I m a Seattle local and know great quality espresso and coffee when I taste it, and I was beyond let down by this experience. The staff was extremely friendly and the grounds were beautiful, but More
Great stop at the end of a great day!
The employees are super nice and very helpful even at the end of their work day!
We will be back!
Very cool place, even if you only stop by without taking the tour. You can taste all different choices of their coffees for free, to help you decide which one to buy.
When we were there they had a red palm full of dates. There is a store, small museum & garden area you can walk through. Also a little cafe were you can buy food & restrooms.
So if your a coffee fan check it out!
Put this on your place to go to when you go to Kauai. Excellent whether you like coffee or not.
This was a great stop on the one day of our trip that it rained. Customers can taste all of their coffees, about 15-20 total. We arrived at 10am and there was a free walking tour available. I believe other times are 12pm and 2pm.
We were able to purchase whole bean coffee to be home that the local grocery store did not have.
Fabulous coffee, wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings. It's a winner!
Kauai Coffee Company: The Best Hawaiian Coffee Online
If you're a coffee lover, then you must have heard about Kauai Coffee Company. It is one of the most popular coffee brands in Hawaii and has been producing high-quality coffee for over 30 years. The company is located on the beautiful island of Kauai, which is known for its stunning natural beauty and rich volcanic soil that makes it an ideal place to grow coffee.
Kauai Coffee Company was founded in 1987 by a group of local farmers who wanted to create a sustainable business that would benefit their community. Today, the company has grown into one of the largest coffee producers in Hawaii, with over 4 million trees spread across 3,100 acres.
One thing that sets Kauai Coffee Company apart from other coffee brands is its commitment to sustainability. The company uses eco-friendly farming practices such as composting and recycling to reduce waste and protect the environment. They also use renewable energy sources like solar power to power their operations.
When it comes to quality, Kauai Coffee Company doesn't compromise. They carefully select only the best beans from their estate and roast them in small batches to ensure maximum flavor and freshness. The history behind this amazing brand dates back centuries ago when King Kamehameha I brought Brazilian seedlings with him on his journey across Pacific Ocean during his conquests around early 1800s . These seedlings were planted on various islands including Maui , Oahu , Molokai but it wasn't until late 1800s when John Marsden started growing these same plants on his land near Hanalei Bay which later became known as "Marsden Estate". In early days Marsden Estate was producing sugar cane but after several years he realized that soil conditions were perfect for growing high quality Arabica beans so he switched crops .
Today Marsden Estate has been transformed into what we know today as "Kauai Coffee" . With over thirty different varieties grown here there's something everyone will love whether you prefer light roast or dark roast flavors!
In conclusion if you are looking for high-quality Hawaiian coffees with rich flavor profiles then look no further than Kauai Coffee Company! Their commitment towards sustainability combined with exceptional taste make them stand out among other brands available today!
