Love their coffee and friendly gift shop and staff...
Love their coffee and friendly gift shop and staff!!
Love their coffee and friendly gift shop and staff!!
I am so glad that I was able to tour the grounds. I learned so much about the coffee bean and how it was harvested. I am also glad that they allow you to try so many of their coffees. I ended up purchasing 5 bags of coffee and had them all shipped to my home because I didn't want to try and make them fit in my luggage as I was leaving that day. All of their coffee in their store is whole bean, but they do have a grinder to grind the coffee if you don't have a coffee bean grinder at home. They also use USPS to ship their coffee and behind the register they show how many bags of coffee fit in each box (which was super helpful). I have been looking for a coffee brand that I can drink in the mornings without having to add sugar to make it decent and I was able to find more than one. I will definitely purchase from them in the future.
Very friendly people. Tours are an added plus. Free samples.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A real Kauai gem.
Great visit, crowded when the cruise ships come in.
Free coffee samples, self guided tour, and ono pops for sale!
Great place to visit. Very interesting information delivered by knowledgeable staff. Fantastic range of coffees offered to try and buy roasted to your preference. Would not occupy a full day but still worth a visit.
Every time we stay in Kauai we swing by the Coffee plantation 3-4 times in the course of a week to try some of the new and amazing samples they set out. Of course we usually lighten our wallets in the gift shop on the way out. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all the different types and flavors of coffee that they roast. They will help you match the best type of coffee for your friend back home. Make sure you tour the grounds, they have a fun self-guided tour.
Free coffee samples! Nice bathrooms! Little gift shop area and "museum." There are coffee plantation tours are available.
The free samples were nice but the coffee we paid for was horrible. Worse than Starbucks. The tour was a joke. Go to Kona if you want nice coffee farm tour.
Only was in the gift shop. It was nice and the free coffee samples.
Worth stopping in for the tour. Take a free guided tour or walk through on your own. It's all free, as is tastes of all of their coffee roasts. Prepared espresso beverages and sodas are also reasonably priced.
If you like coffee you'll enjoy sampling the many options, watching the film and the guided tour of part of the 1 million tree farm. There is a nice gift shop and plenty of parking.

Take the tour AND enjoy free coffee tasting. Well worth the visit!
Many types can be tasted! It may be irresistible for coffee lovers
Coffee, view & vacation! Not much wrong here!
Nice tour & a variety of samples to try.
HUGE farm with great history.
Amazing. Bringing home a bag of beans to the mainland no doubt. Free samples and you can see the fields they harvest from. Cute gift shop and photo opportunities.
Fantastic selection. Free samples of a multitude of roasting, beans, and blends. Nice walk through coffee growing fields and processing exhibits.
I love this place. Fun gift shop, super fun walking tour, and a ton of coffee samples in the back. A must see for all coffee lovers!
Fun little outing. You can walk the grounds, sample the coffee, and take home a souvenir coffee bag. Definitely worth the drive out for a change of pace from the beach.
Free coffee to taste. Lots to choose from. There is a free tour as well as a paid tour. A nice detour on your way to Wailea Canyon.
Clean facilities, great samples and interesting self guided tour. Try the peaberry coffee.
There was a really interesting video playing in the gift shop so you could see how the coffee was grown and harvested. They also offered tours if you have more time.
There were tons of coffee samples with knowledgeable staff to help you find what suits you best.
This is a fun place to stop (if you dont like coffee they have ice cream!) and a great place to get souvenirs for friends and family.
Easy walk self-tour through the coffee groves that is interesting. Lots of different coffees to taste and small museum, cafe and gift shop.
The self-guided tour was interesting and there are lots of coffee samples. Worth a quick stop. Next time I'd like to go on the full tour!
The tour on the hour was informative. The staff at the sample station was not so friendly and efficient.
Awesome little place. You can sample all the coffees they have and they definitely do have some delicious flavored ones and the prices for the bags of coffee aren't bad either. The gift shop has a lot of decent priced nice variety of items from clothing, bages, purses, island lotions & oils, key chains, burlap coffee sacks, magnet's, bumper stickers, coffee cups, mugs, water cups & bottles, post cards, kids clothes, stuffed animals, books and more.... You can go out side where you sample the coffees and get food such as hot dogs, ice cream sundaes, cones or bowls of ice cream, hot/cold coffee drink's, cookies, pastries, Italian sodas, pop, and more.
A-m-a-z-i-n-g coffee! Great experience! We're taking coffee home!
NEVER Go to this place to have ice cream! My girlfriend and her sister when yesterday to get some and right after 20 mins they felt horrible both and started throwing up a few times and got fever!!!! On top of that, urgent care is closed until 8am of course, and they cannot go until they open. Again, never ever go of you will get food poisoning!
Taste all the coffee samples & tour the farm. Check signs hanging around, you can get a 10% off coupon for joining text subscription & provide email address.
Great place to visit! So many different coffee types to try!
Worth seeing at least once. You can taste coffee brewed with a variety of beans and taste coffee ice cream
60 years old and first cup of coffee ever couldn't have been in a more perfect setting. Came back to Texas with an armful of Caramel Coconut Crunch coffee.
Love the walking tour and about tripled mt knowledge about how coffee is grown and roasted!
Worth a stop to sample all the varieties. If you like a smooth but flavorful dark roast, this coffee is for you. I think their coffee easily beats most Kona coffee. Informative free tour.
Nice break from the road. Great info for coffee lovers as well as those that prefer the lesser drink.
hey, my name is Shamsher I'm from India, would like to give you some suggestions about your store. Can I have your email id?
Considering everything on the island you have to pay for and book/reserve ahead of time this was excellent for a free tour and coffee tasting of all their different brews!
Well worth a visit. I got to taste quite a few coffees and was really happy to see the beans growing. It gave me a lot of perspective.
The free, guided, 20 minute tour was wonderful! There is plenty of coffee that is free to taste just outside of the gift shop. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes coffee and has an hour to spare!
Great place helpful staff. Made it easy to ship coffee back home.
Really good experience. The coffee is really tasteful and fresh.
Nice stop on the way to or from Waimea.
Coffee is good. Take advantage of the free samples, then decide what you want to pick up on the way out.
Tour is okay while sipping an iced coffee, but skippable otherwise.
Excellent experience. Free tasting. And delicious cookies, cakes and other sweets if you want something sweet with your coffee.
We stop by during every trip to Kauai. Tasting so many varieties is always fun and we always leave with a least one bag of Hawaiian coffee.
The tour wasnt open when we went but there was still an interesting "coffee talk"
Crazy crazy ...love the 3800 acres of nothing but COFFEE!!!
Picked up the whole bean med roast from Costco first time this summer and was pleasantly surprised - excellent experience. Bought another bag recently and was a completely different experience. Really harsh, nasty taste, basically undrinkable. Tried it as cold brew but even this had a bad aftertaste. Roast looked consistent so I would guess there were some problem with the beans being used. Would not buy it again due to the inconsistency.
Very informative free tour takes less than half hour. You can also self tour. Some amazing facts that make you wonder why coffee doesn't cost more than it does.
Was a great little guest/visitor center and self walking tour. Was happy to stop in and buy some coffee while vacationing on the island.
Loved it! Definitely hit this place up if you are near by. Free coffee samples to try out some different blends and roasts.
What a great place to taste so many coffee and what a a great tour.
Awesome place to stop for coffee lovers. They have free samples of many varieties...I ended up filling my luggage with a few from the gift shop. There's also other food/snacks for purchase while you're there.
If you like coffee this spot is definitely worth a stop. The cafe in the back has a few reasonably priced food options as well.
Great coffee, lots of samples, you can take a small little self guided tour around the place. If you come an hour before they close you can get a big cup of one of there samples for free.
The free guided tour was amazing. Lot's inside info, great coffee and free samples.
Very informative tour. Great coffee with tasting room.
My wife sort of dragged me here but it proved both interesting and relaxing. Ended up bringing home several pounds of good good coffee
It was a beautiful walk through the coffee estate. Then we went inside the store and got to taste a few of their coffees. The ladies were so friendly and we learned a lot about the history of the coffee estate. The coffee is so good! It s nice to enjoy a cup or two at home and remember Hawaii.
Got allot of coffee samplers but pretty much a tourist trap
Great place to buy and taste local coffee. Free tours available at certain times during the day. Would recommend visiting and trying all the types of coffee, and joining a tour as they were excellent.
Great friendly staff with free tastings and a nice area in back to learn about their history and the coffee making process
Highly recommend the coffee on the brain tour! Lisa was excellent! Really enjoy the tour and learning.
Very crowded. Hard to move through the herd of taste testers. But people seemed to like their coffee.
You haven't had great coffee until you've had it here... Nothing more need be said to any coffee lover.
This was fun. They had a number of samples of coffee to try and the tour was fun.
Pros: Coffee samples. Informative tour. Nice staff Tour guide was fatherly. Fun to chat with.
Cons: It is hot and humid while waiting. Coffee is obviously pricey.
I live on Oahu, so whenever I have to go to Kauai, for any reason, I stop here and load up. Great prices, great staff, and amazing coffee!
Great learning place for coffee. Loved trying different types for free.
We were told this is the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii.
Grounds are gorgeous and the crew willingly provides unlimited coffee samples brewed on the spot. A small drink cafe offers everything from specialty coffees to milkshakes.
Nice place! We got there a little early and did the tour ourselves. They were all nice and pretty cool!
Pretty commercial and not much to experience. Nice people and service. Not sure what I expected but the coffee museum fell short for me.
Tour of the coffee plantation was very interesting and informative...I learned.. "DO not refrigerate or freeze coffee" lots of different Coffee tasting. Everyone was very helpful.
One of our favorite tours & the best value for your money by far! Our tour guide was excellent & highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend paying for the guided tour instead of doing the self-guided walking tour through the grounds.
Even though my husband & I thought we knew a decent amount about coffee, we learned a lot about different brewing processes & even picked up a few new tips to try when we get home. The coffee itself is excellent & you have plenty of opportunities to sample all of their blends.
Free sampling and free tours. But worth buying the coffee

The history behind this amazing brand dates back centuries ago when King Kamehameha I brought Brazilian seedlings with him on his journey across Pacific Ocean during his conquests around early 1800s . These seedlings were planted on various islands including Maui , Oahu , Molokai but it wasn't until late 1800s when John Marsden started growing these same plants on his land near Hanalei Bay which later became known as "Marsden Estate". In early days Marsden Estate was producing sugar cane but after several years he realized that soil conditions were perfect for growing high quality Arabica beans so he switched crops .
Today Marsden Estate has been transformed into what we know today as "Kauai Coffee" . With over thirty different varieties grown here there's something everyone will love whether you prefer light roast or dark roast flavors!
In conclusion if you are looking for high-quality Hawaiian coffees with rich flavor profiles then look no further than Kauai Coffee Company! Their commitment towards sustainability combined with exceptional taste make them stand out among other brands available today!
