Katy Memorial Pediatrics Review

Dr. Moreno has been my children's pediatrician for 21 years. He is very thorough and takes time with his patients. Love his nurses too.... Great, friendly office staff!

This review is based on our experience with Dr Ramaswamy. The doctor is a nice person but her office staff is both rude and non friendly. Often times there is a long waiting time inspite of scheduled appointments. Doctor always seems like she is in a rush to see the next patient. The office is very commercial and wants to charge for every small thing. They charged $$ for stamping my son s vaccination record. When we changed doctor their office wanted to charge $$ for sending patient records to the other doctors office. The first visit to the doctor was charged to me out of pocket as a sick visit even though my son was well and the visit was supposed to be a well visit. I was told that the first visit to a pediatrician is always considered a sick visit. Overall, the office will leave no stone unturned to make sure they get money from you wherever they can. Extremely disappointed given that this is a pediatric facility.

1. It is incorrect that you do not charge for vaccination records, I have a payment receipt for what was paid to stamp his vaccination record submitted to his daycare. The vaccinations were received from your own office.

2. First visit was charged as "sick" not well.

3. No the mom did not ask for "specific records", we had asked for complete records since we wanted to change physicians. The office asked for $$ and when mom resisted, your office had to call back and say we can transfer these specific records no charge.

I think you need to re-visit your office policies and procedures. It sounds like your office is charging for things that you are not aware of which is even more concerning.

We are done here... Dr. Moreno is awesome but 1.5 hours average wait is not acceptable in any way, especially in pandemic times. This is not new, has been happening for the last 6 years

We ve been coming to this practice for 11years. And thou the patient care has been mostly a good one, the wait time has become a bit outrages. 45-1hr. Today for example I ve been waiting in the car to be called in for over 1hr. The same way we, as patients, are respectful of the doctors time, the practice needs to be respectful of the patient as well. I ve worked on the medical field, with specialists, and have dealt with doctors running late, because sometimes unpredictable things might happen, but out of respect to the patient, you communicate with them, when a long wait is to happen, it is still upsetting for the other party but at least you show you care and respect their time. Communication is key. And this is not the only time this has happened. So we can t blame it on covid. The only reason I have tolerated the delays is because I loved the 2 previous doctors, that are no longer with the practice and because we don t come to the office too often (thank God).

Dr. Nithya and her team have taken excellent care of my two boys for years. This will be the last year for my senior in high school to visit Dr. Nithya. Thank you for many years of excellent advice and treatments. Make it an amazing day!

I have been taking my kids to this office for years. Just have to say all of the doctors are great and very helpful especially, if I don t understand they will explain it to me in depth. I recommend taking your kids here if you want excellent service and excellent doctors!

If I can give them 0 rates, I want to do that. I m coming here since 10 years and it's getting wrose and worse on waiting. When I visited Last November 2019, we waited 3 hours and today as Nov 10 2020 same thing 3 hours. I m done here, going somewhere else because I feel like they don't value our time. Every single time almost more than 2 hours waiting that's not acceptable even if you are good doctor. Recommend people not to west your time here as we all have another life outside this doctor appointment.

Great doctors & staff but the wait time is terrible (at least 1 hour late on appointments)

I just wanted to say thank you to Robin for helping me with a billing issue today. She went out of her way to correct the issue and I m very appreciative. I ve always had a great experience with the doctors here and I m happy to see customer service/administrative improvements being made as well.
