Kansas Attorney General's Office Review

When all else has failed, I thought my concerns would be validated. If anything this office is of mandatory reporting on legal issues. Just blew me off and swept under the rug.

I contacted the Kansas Attorney Generals Concealed Carry Department. I received excellent step by step instructions on accessing and moving about their website to change my concealed carry permit information. I was also informed if I moved back to Kansas while my permit was still valid, I could reinstate my permit using the same site. I feel providing this additional information spoke highly of the AG's staff to insure complete provision of details keeping their citizens, or in this case, ex-citizen fully informed! Thanks to the State of Kansas and the Kansas Attorney General's office for granting and allowing me to carry a concealed weapon in their great state!

The complaint form to be submitted on-line for violations of the no-call registry does not work. You cannot submit a complaint. This would certainly cut down the number of complaints you have to investigate. Not an effective service and not a good representation of this office.

As Attorney General's offices go, this is my favorite one. Probably because they've never sued me or put me in jail. But I guess the others haven't either.

I filed a complaint with your department on July 13, 2018 because the FBI in Kansas City Missouri didn t investigate complaints first hand. They told me to file with your department first then if there was any merit to my complaint your office would refer the case over to the FBI. Your department never acknowledged my first complaint so I filed a second complaint on December 13, 2018. I still haven t received an acknowledgement letter from your office like I did on May 10, 2010 when I filed a complaint back then. I provided your office with documents along with some recordings the same as I did to the Office of the Disciplinary Administrator. If your department doesn t handle public corruption then I need to move forward in another direction or department.
