JW Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel Review

I gave 4 stars due to lack of parking (better abandon the car in the parking lot decats to pay the place)

One of the best in Bucharest. A little outside of the city

Luxury in short ... rich to be .... that you sleep in the hotel as a country president !.

For a 5 star hotel, I only give 2.
The room is nice, the cleanliness is at home, but my opinion is that it is suitable for 4 stars. I was in a 4 star hotel which was more.
They are not customer oriented. The room for 2 people did not have complete hygiene sets (they were for one person), slippers for one person, bathrobe for one person. At the entrance to the bathroom I stepped on something sharp (it was a catch, as if it was called grep). Luckily the carpet was thicker and it didn't fit in my heel. The maid called a craftsman to resolve the situation. The man even said: why didn't they see when the reception took place? Apart from the two, someone else did not apologize and I mean someone above. Finally!
I had breakfast included. Now this covid is served a la carte. The thing is, the food leaves something to be desired. I ordered scrambled eggs and on the menu it was written that he prepares them as the client wants. Where from? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
On the 2nd day I ordered a plate of salami and cheese to make sure I didn't fail. The dessert wasn't too delicious either. And the staff at my table, a guy, kind of careless.

Breakfast can be waived at the hotel because the menu is not suitable for Israelis, and the price is not worth 125 lbs. It's better to take a cab and eat outside.
The hotel restaurant is very expensive and not worth the price. Austrian entrecote steak costs 385 ley.
Highly recommend Chef Joseph Haddad's caju restaurant. Great dishes and good prices.
Travel from the hotel to Tram by taxi costs about 65 lee.
Money can be cashed out at the casino at a good and equal conversion rate to the Changs scattered around the city.
Outside the hotel there are electric cocktails by the lime company but the price is more expensive than a taxi ride.

Lovely hotel, nice staff. We had an executive grand room...big and clean...amazing view (Parliament Palace) and treats(sweets) on the bed every evening. Bonus-executive lounge-lovely place, very good choice of food and lovely staff there, always ready to help you. Enjoyed every single minute there!

Very elegant hotel, with very good services and bespoke prices. The presence of galleries for shoping where luxury companies are present as well as the presence of a casino tells everything about this location. The rooms are large, equipped with mini fridge and minibar, safe, iron and ironing board. Very friendly staff, except for a dedicated receptionist for foreign customers, who saw that we used the Romanian language when we arrived at the reception almost ignored us, and only insisting we managed to determine him to tell us that we have to we address a colleague who speaks Romanian at another counter. The hotel has its own parking spaces, located behind the building, the price being about 100 lei per day. Parking in front of the hotel is managed by the town hall and costs differently depending on the length of stay, starting with 5 lei per hour and ending with about 100 lei per day. The included breakfast can be served at the restaurant on the 1st floor and it is very rich, and there are also chefs who can cook you personalized omelettes. Also on the 1st floor there are also conference rooms or events, very elegant, equipped with rear projectors, and there is the possibility to contract translation services.

I am a lot of people, but the best thing is that you do not want to see.

A class hotel. Service ok. Clean rooms with everything you need. The food was not exactly my taste.

Location was decent, and the cabs out front made getting to farther places very simple. Our room was amazing - the nicest I've ever stayed in - and the staff was incredibly helpful.

A very high standard in a good location and especially the casino in the hotel is a place of entertainment and attraction.

Marriott outdid themselves on this location. We spent several days and really enjoyed each minute of it. They have some of the most attentive staff I have encountered. The breakfast is simply the best.

I didn't stayed in the Hotel and was only there for meetings. The food and snacks were ok, regarding that they had to serve for around 250 people.

Good hotel,but the spa is not as good as is should be.

Worst place to stay and even more bad to gamle on this hotel casino. Avoid it!!

I've used this location before, what can I say, I liked it. Although I expected them to be more fit, they still have a young spirit and
dynamic.

The steakhouse is worth all the money ... and there are many!

Great place but the personal in front door are not so pro.. they prefer to stay in chat with the security guy's or taxi drivers instead of helping people with baggage

You do not deserve 30 of the asking price ... not you, but the walls deserve it

Beautiful hotel for casino enthusiasts a good experience

The hotel is very clean and clean. Service at a different level than I know in Bucharest.

The only positive experience was that I did not have to pay the parking on departure. These parrots claim they have upstairs an American style sports bar. These are unobtrusive torturers who refuse you without a bit of embarrassment either when you want to see another match or when you want to see a match because they have tired working outside and they have not worked out for a week and have closed the place with a super arrogant attitude. The Kaghebist canning attitude that you met at Inter during Communists' time ... others. I'll call them at Mariott headquarters.

The check in was easy, the room beautiful. The hotel takes $100usd for I incidentals before you get the key. The breakfast buffet is huge but $30usds per person. Check out wa as pleasant.

You get what they promise. Great steaks!
Walking distance to the old town.

I stayed for 3 nights and honestly, I don t believe I have ever stayed at a nicer hotel. The staff is simply amazing. Those at the front desk are very accommodating, friendly and customer service oriented. The bell staff here are sensational. They gave me tons of advice about where to go in town and we re all around great.

My room was gorgeous , with a great view of the city.

Highly recommend!!!

Just terrific experience ..spacious rooms , luxury ground floor with boutiques and casino !
