JW Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel Review

It deserves the full JW title, luxury is at home. The services far above the average you find in our country. Much over the average of many similar hotels in Europe.

Very friendly staff, very large well-equipped and clean rooms. Great food in the hotel restaurants. Gladly again.

I have not been in many 5 star hotels ... that's the first one and it's really nice.

Wonderful hotel in front of the Palace of the Parliament of Bucharest. Large, comfortable rooms. The service and the attention are unbeatable. The employees at the reception are exceptionally friendly. He fascinated us.

Amazing hotel, one of the best I've stayed in. Amenities (such as lounge, bar, concierge service) are especially great.

Good hotel, good location from where you can easily walk to the center of town. Even with Parliament.

On my second stay in Bucharest , i chose to stay at marriot hotel. I went there in style, by renting a hummer limo from Prestige Limousine to transfer me from the airport to the hotel . My stay was the best , nice people , nice staff , many shops in the hotel and good restaurants

As usual, the world is very kind and with a smile on its face.

Try Chorba de Burta-tripe soup, one of the best Turkish restaurants in Bucharest.

Best hotel service. I am from Cluj so i took the plane to Bucharest. On the way to the hotel from the airport i rented a limousine from 123limuzine.ro for a little city tour and back to the hotel. The hotel is very nice , the staff is so kind and helpfull with all requests. The room is big and clean & healthy breakfast. One of the best in bucharest.

I was pretty often at Marriott. A stylish, cosmopolitan, pretentious hotel. However, in the last year we have seen a decrease in service quality and even cleanliness. I hope there are temporary deficiencies. Otherwise, the prices for events will remain very fast with the customer-empowered portfolio.

A wonderful grand hotel overlooking the palace. Lovely outdoor bar and food.

Big and well maintained hotel. No free WiFi in the standard rooms and a breakfast with one of the lowest quality coffees I ever experienced. No free parking for customers (50 RON per day) and no directions where to pay (frustrating). You have to do a lot better for 5 stars Mariott.

Back again after two years and nothing changed. On top of low quality coffee that is not better than from any Mega Image store around the corner, you get low quality and unfriendly service at the breakfast buffet too. If you come to Bucharest don't get fooled by the name, nothing Grand here at the Marriott. There are better hotels closer to old town than this place. Rating now is two stars (former three).

The rooms are very spacious and clean and the staff very friendly.

Eh- it's dated and housekeeping is sloppy. Had multiple visible hairs (from someone else) on bathroom floor upon the arrival. Bathrooms need updating. Beds were horribly old and uncomfortable. Very noticeable dips in one side. Somehow the beds and thick comforter conduct heat (no thin blanket and no top sheet) made it impossible to sleep. Supposed to have executive level breakfast but card didn't have access and then when I arrived at regionals breakfast they said I had to pay extra!! Pretty much worst hotel and definitely Marriott experience I have ever had.

My visit was just at the pool. Unfortunately enough for the number of visitors on the premises.

Best hotel, great location, beautiful design and architecture, wonderful rooms and luxurious atmosphere. Very cheap. Highly recommended.

Serving and tasting 5-star cuisine. 1. The ribs were on the menu, there were no physical ones on the spot, I could not test them, 4. The hamburgers it could be in other sizes, possibly S, M and L ... the existing one is a little modest because of the amount of meat (it is about S) and the bun is oversized. I was on a Friday from 18.30 to 20.30.

Very comfortable hotel. The room that we stayed had 2 good sized double beds which is great for family traveling with children.
The housekeeping service was fantastic. They come around to clean the room in the day and in the evening, provides turn-down service and clear up/tidy up the room a little too.
The swimming pool facilities was dated but the water was really nice and warm.
The executive lounge was brilliant! The spread of food was one of the best in the lounges that I ve been too. The breakfast was the same every morning though but the evening hot food had some new varieties everyday.
First floor of this hotel has lots of restaurant which I would recommend the Italian restaurant with good food and fantastic service.
Ground floor has high end shopping.
Concierge here is top class attention to detail and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

The intersection at Marriott was, at 12:00 am relatively airy, it was sunny, the wind was not blowing, the cathedral (still under construction) was working its towers between the scaffolding. If you have no push and you are walking, it is really nice.

The steak is great and the desserts are ok.The rest didn't impress unfortunately for the prices they practice.The serving was very professional.

It was good, but the furniture is a bit old- fashioned.

Absolute luxury it was an experience, as you can see what Eastern Europe has to offer .. even Berlin or Paris can not keep up in the hotel group.

A VERY GOOD HOTEL, WITH FULL FACILITIES, EXCELLENT RESTAURANT AND GARDEN.

We were very happy with our suite (a free upgrade), which was very spacious with a living room, a powder room and a large bedroom and bathroom. The decor was a bit dated European style but in very good condition. We were treated very well at check in and check out. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and omelettes in the steakhouse. The location was not as convenient as we would have liked but cabs were inexpensive. We would definitely stay there in the future.
