JW Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel Review

A really clean class hotel neat and 7th floor has a really cool lounge.

Great location! Hospitable and professional staff. Dinner and breakfast over expectations! We have a poor appearance in the room of 2 persons in sanitary ware only for one person.

Spent 5 nights and I really could not find anything to dislike. All staff - including at the reception, restaurants, housekeeping, concierge, etc were very accommodating, polite and make you feel like a priceless customer. Luxury shopping on site is matching the hotel luxury brand. Excellent food, I recommend all restaurants. Upgraded room thanks to my Marriott status. Location is somehow off the city center however the Uber and taxi service is prompt and less expensive. Surely I will return.

Normally I don't write reviews but this one was worth every "penny". Nice rooms, facilities and excellent staff!

What s not to like! Great amenities close to old town and lots of shops, restaurant, casino etc for entertainment without having to leave the building

The annual EU Tax Conference is always held at JW Marriott. The food is delicious and the conference and seminar rooms are equipped with all the necessary equipment.

We had new year's eve here and for the price that we paid I tought it will be wonderful and was such a letdown. We took a table at JW Stake House and we enjoyed the buffet there but at 2-3 in the morning was nothing to eat it felt like you have to go now. The desert buffet was done by 2 and they never brought other desserts. What was the most disturbing was that the people that were seated at the table next to us because they tip the waiter he brought them pizza and pasta from Cucina the restaurant next door to us. What a let down and luck of profesionalism. Shame on people that are managing this hotel and food and beverage.

It's near to the People's Palace, but not really close to the downtown unfortunately. The service was very good, except that there was leftover food "waiting" for me at the front of my room, on the day i arrived.

The worst is the casino hall. We have the impression of entering an area of lawlessness. I played at a poker table and was kicked out of my seat because I won a blow against the casino manager. Table 10 lei / 10 lei. Besides, he does what he wants at the table: he shouts at the staff on the staff, he throws a raise and goes to bed without waiting for his turn. The worst casino I have come across. No room for games and the pleasure of playing. It reminded me of the bonneteau lol. Good luck.

The rooms are 4 and 5 stars. Hotel staff very well prepared and polite. They have event rooms and shops. Very varied breakfast.

Just awesome.. Great experience, cozy atmosphere and just fabulous food.

Always a great experience. We arrived today with our small dog in tow and the staff were great. They don't normally allow pets but this time they didn't hesitate. They even gave her a bowl of water. The food was excellent all round, and I had a great time talking Romanian wine with our waiter Cristi. Cristi of you get to read this, I hope to be back soon for the porterhouse steak. Cheers from your New Zealand friends.

Excellent service. Great breakfast! I stayed for only 1 night on business trip. Only negative WiFi is not free...

Luxury, trained staff, friendly atmosphere even in the given conditions

Been here for the conference and I must say that everything was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent premises and facilities. Definitely would consider to stay there when again in Bucharest.

The bar was closed only the terrace was open where I enjoyed local Romanian food. Marked it down on the service. Service was better at the Intercontinental Hotel.

A perfect place for shopping luxury clothes and not only. :)

The services and staff leave much to be desired ... at 500 lei per room ... I do not recommend
