JW Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel Review

The hotel is wonderful and at the highest levels, I have never encountered such a "cold" team and not at all welcoming, sweeping ... all including the receptionists

A "luxury" hotel but demonstrating that there may be an "effective luxury," with the help of a well trained professional; congratulations to the administration and the whole team !!!

Great place! Rooms are great, their lounge is fantastic! I enjoyed the restaurants in the hotel as well. Steakhouse is a great place, Cucina italiana was good!

Beautiful hotel attitude of generous and welcoming and hospitable staff, and recommend places to go.
When I arrived with incompatible electrical items they gave a straight electrical adapter
The maids were kind and did everything we asked for with a smile and made sure to explain what was for a fee and what they did not leave extra at our request

Horror, I will not go back alive. Poor service, especially in the dining room where the employees took us from table to table with various excuses but the main thing was not to serve us. Not to mention that for coffee should ask for 3 times and then will come without a spoon, and again - ask for at least 3 times. The staff is not welcoming. Poor cleanliness. Remote location from center. An Olympic-style fitness pool and no pool of hotel guests. It is not recommended and I have no idea how they recommended it to this day.

A stunningly beautiful melom in a palace! Amazing service and amazing food!

Disappoiment...big problems with clinliness and old bath. They charge 15 per day if u want to have internet (in Roumani u pay the internet for the whole month with 15 ). They have a deal with a taxi company(speed taxi, always infront of the hotel) that refuses the hotel guest's because it's a short race or they are cheating on the people asking for 5 time ( or even more)more than it cost the race. They leave roumanian gypsies in the cazino who are swearing all the time (even to the other guest in roumanian language) and no one says anything,no one throw them out.

This is simply huge astonishing hotel accross 2nd biggest building in the world.

Unexpectedly fast service. There are no original parts, but no counterfeit ones. They have the RAR logo.

This is an amazing hotel for high end visitor's to Bucharest. Breakfast just near our suite for lazy mornings as i always have in my vacations makes ot much easier . The staff, receptionist and concierge are very helpful and cool. Old Town is near you and the Parliament is very near. Also the sports restaurant in the garden are has one of the best veil Burger's. last and not least there are alot of boutique shops for the ladies and gentlemen. It's a must visit even if you cant afford go atleast have a look!

From beginning to the end, the worst service at the highest price! Crazy queue to check out! Breakfast with horrible attention. Get away from this plant!!!

The conference and meeting area is ok. Well-equipped. Good furniture but badly maintained.

The worst hotel in Bucharest. Nothing is worth 5 stars if the staff is one star. Nobody in that hotel is capable of doing anything. If you want to talk to a manager you can not rule that they have poor work.

A grandiose and elegant hotel where exceptional wedding receptions are organized.

Very upscale hotel located outside of Bucharest city center. The room I was given was decorated tastefully, very clean, and quiet. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Looking forward to a return trip.

Very clean, great restaurants, high class hotel, small casino but if you are not big gambler's you will be fine.

Spacious and beautiful but the most important compared to Ibis Parliament Hotel nearby is that parking is much easier to use.

Good meeting space and staff support. Some technical problems, but overall a good conference.

Beautiful hotel with good rooms, bit of traffic noises in the room from the busy city square in front.
Minus 1 star because of the breakfast, that is done in the JW Steakhouse and as a result even after grabbing a quick breakfast leaves your clothes smelling like a grill restaurant all day.

The staff was friendly and helpful with smiling, very clean room. Many brands shops. Big gym .

Went to a great event there. Didn t stay but the food and service were very good.

Behind 3 stars I know this because I was hired there.
DO NOT COMMIT YOURSELF

Everything was nearly perfect with a couple of exceptions. The king size bed is made of two singles bed base joining together with a king size mattress. The center bit of the bed is not flat due to the joint section of the bed base. This made sleeping very uncomfortable as you keep sliding off to the side. Feedback to hotel and they put an extra mattress topper to minimize the uncomfort. Room service took too long to come even at 1am. I ordered chicken ceasar salad and a hot soup. Took 1 hour. Not helping when you just landed on a late flight and starving. Otherwise, great location and very luxury standard.
