Just Fix It Inc. was just out today to fix my 80 year old dad's air conditioning. His went out yesterday night & I called them at 8pm to let them know that it went out. Doug called me within 20 minutes to say he was at Menards & ready to purchase the new A/C. His crew arrived at 9am the next day to install it. They were very friendly, greeted me very genuine & installed the A/C right away. They even tried to fix the old one to save me money but it was not repairable.
Thank goodness for them acting so fast because it was very stressful knowing that my dad was in his condo w/ an 80 degree temperature. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

We have been using Just Fix It for all of our Handyman needs for a number of years. Doug, Shawn and Josh all do great work. Everything from changing light bulbs (no ladders for us!) to hanging pictures and carpentry. Recently when we experienced flood damage from a broken ice maker, Shawn replaced the damaged panels in the basement ceiling and fixed a light fixture that had gotten wet. A baseboard that needed replacing was also installed, a perfect match for existing woodwork. They are very responsive and professional and their prices are quite reasonable as well.

I came to Just Fix It with what I thought was a crazy idea of turning our basement built in bar into an awesome fort for our boys and they delivered!! Shawn was amazing and truly thought of every last detail. Shawn made sure that everything was safe and boy proof, as well as different details that would be fun for the boys! Shawn and Dan were great about explaining what was going on every step of the way which I truly appreciate! Everyone was very friendly from my first interaction. I had a very long list of straightforward but time consuming home fixes that I just couldn't get to whilst running round after my young kids. Seriously, some of the "to-do's" had been on my punch list for over two years then a friend recommended I call Just Fix It! and I'm so glad I did because they knocked the whole list out in one day. I was so impressed with the work I've asked them to come back and help on some bigger projects. 10/10
I recently bought a house and the seller had a Radon Mitigation System installed by Just Fix It. Once I moved in, it was hard to sleep in any of the downstairs bedrooms because the system shakes the whole lower floor and makes a nasty deep bass sound. I reached out to Just Fix It and they sent a guy out to look at it.
He told me that they needed to install a rubber fitting and they would have to come back with the right parts/tools. That was over 4 weeks ago.
They have completely stopped responding to my calls and texts. I wrote an email hoping they would respond to that, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Is this the typical business ethic of this company? I'm in the process of getting another contractor to finish the work they have already been paid to do.
We had Patrick come to our home to install some interior doors. Not only was he professional and kind, he was efficient! He completed the work quicker than was quoted and let me tell you, those doors were not easy. All contacts with Just Fix It were professional and friendly. We heard from the company within 48 hours of calling and they had the doors installed within 2 weeks of calling and completing. The price was reasonable. We will be using them again!

A few week ago I had Just Fix It!! Come in to paint my nursery for our first daughter. I gave them my ideas on what I wanted and they took it and ran with it!! They paid attention to the details and were very reasonably in price they even gave me their cost on the materials which is unheard of. We have had several other trades in our home and we will be only using Just Fix It!! Inc. for now on!! I hope everyone will call them they were amazing!! A++++++
Did a real bad job when they worked on my cam lights. They drilled up to the upstairs floor and pulled out padding and they didn't fix it. They said it was just an accident and if I want them to fix it it would cost me more money. Why should I pay for their mistakes. Definitely would not recommend them anymore.
We just had them out to work on a guest bathroom. Not only did they totally come through for us by doing the job at the last minute, they were willing to do some extra work that I didn t originally plan to request. I can t recommend them enough.
Had scheduled a estimate. I had to take the day off from work. The day of no one showed up and no one answered the phone or called back
Your Reputation is BS...anybody that posts the truth on their site that is negative they block and delete your post.....HMMMM...I think they're hiding something like my experience with JUST FIX IT....recently THEY WALKED OFF MY JOB AFTER THEY SCREWED UP THE JOB. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE A FAIR REFUND.
First they cut the Comcast cable and installed the very first fence post wrong...should have been a corner post. All I heard from them was how much longer it was taking them to drill the holes with a power auger. They didn't know how to drill holes in clay !!. The contractor that finished the job in one and half days...and hand dug every hole. Just Fix it got 6 posts in and finished tearing down my chain link fence. I took down most of this fence myself( all the chain and top posts.only 7 posts were mounted in concrete they removed 4. and charged me for their business license in Bolingbrook,il. ( Village of over 75,000 people ) and good for a whole year. THIS IS A COST OF DOING BUSINESS.......YOU CAN CALL ME AND i'LL SHOW WHY I DESERVE $800, INSTEAD OF THEIR OFFER OF $495.......if YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT WITH THEM CALL ME AND MAYBE WE CAN MAKE IT A CLASS ACTION SUIT..../Still no refund....2/18/2016

Jason did a fantastic job of cleaning out the dryer vent. He also did a better attachment of the dryer hose and left no clean up for me.
