Short version: the selection, expertise, and service at Journeyman Co are all top notch. This place is doing it right, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Long version: One of the best store experiences I've ever had. I've worked in menswear for a long time, and tend to geek out about clothing on an almost fanatical level. Todd, the shop owner, blew me away with the scope of his knowledge, and was generous in sharing insights on brands, construction, history, and materials. He's worked closely with several of my favorite companies, and clued me into a few more I was missing out on.

Fantastic boutique store tucked away in downtown Middleton, WI. Great for mens' americana-style clothing in the $$$ out of $$$$ price range. More tasteful stuff than you'd find in a high-end department store, but won't break the bank like the stuff you'd find on high street. Selvage denim from Tellason and Left Field; lots of Taylor Stitch products; shirts from Alex Mill, Faherty, Schott, Gitman Vintage; Relwen and Filson outerwear; plus some exclusive sweater collabs with Harley of Scotland.

Came in when their late summer stock was on sale for 50% off. Snagged an awesome pair of heavy neppy Left Field jeans, normally nearly $200, for under $100.

My husband and I stopped in last night to check it out and were SO impressed with the quality and selection this store offers. My husband is 6'4 and has a hard time finding pants with a long enough inseam and Todd had multiple options for him -- best of all, they were high quality and stylish, yet classic. We will be back soon to purchase a few things from his wish list and are thrilled there is a men's clothing store in the area where he can find options that fit both his body as well as his style preference.

Awesome clothing and service. May SEEM pricey, but you get what you pay for! Carefully chosen designs/ quality that will last a lifetime (vs. replacing your lower end 3 times over)... I'll admit, it's taken me awhile to understand that, but finally there!
