I adore this place. I got my very first pair of Birkenstocks at their old location over thirty years ago. This new location is larger and even more well-stocked. The fellow who helped me was infinitely kind and patient. I wound up with a pair of Dansko booties and a sale-rack pair of felt Birks. Score! Street parking and leave time to grab lunch down there too.

As my grandfather used to say, "Life is too short for cheap shoes." He was right. Cheap shoes give you blisters and fall apart in months. Good shoes can be handed down from generation to generation - I am not kidding! Joseph's has a good selection reasonably priced (not cheap) shoes and delivers the kind of personal service that you just can't get at the mall.

Ben was attentive and listened to my challenges then surprised me with the perfect option. The Joseph's team responds intuitively to your needs ...giving you space when you want it and service when you're ready. Iconic!

Perry made me very uncomfortable. DO NOT SHOP HERE AS A SINGLE WOMEN!!! He talked about/questioned my physical appearance/relationship status soooo many times. When I left the store, I ran to my car and immediately locked my doors before starting my car. Please do not shop here

Great place to purchase Quality footwear. Knowledgeable staff. Prices are more expensive, but for 25% more expensive shoe, you'll receive 75% better built shoe. Forget the big box discount shoes, get shoes that feel better, your knees, and back will thank you.

Staff is always knowledgable, helpful & friendly. Get great deals ... even introduced my husband to a new brand Oduz? that was cheaper than what was looking at first. BONUS had plenty of staff on hand day of OctoberFest ~ so did not have to wait to be helped. My husband commented when we came home "why do we go other places first? We ALWAYS find what I need there." Guess What ~ we will be going here 1st from now on.

I stopped in yesterday and not one employee bothered to ask me for help. I could only try a few pairs that were my size, which were on the shelf. I walked around with one style and the girl behind the checkout counter watched, then walked into the back and never bothered to help.
I have also stopped in during the summer and the same thing happened. I feel they don't like to serve people of color.
I will never try to shop there again. I will go to Klicka Shoes in DePere, or The Heel in Ashwaubenon. Their service is much much better.
