Jordan Marsh Company Review

The place is great, and the people at the store really helpful. They want you to have a good experience and try to learn what's best for you, but at the same time you feel a slight pressure to buy on the spot.

Our experience with Rebecca Russell was great. She took the time to guide us through our purchase of a Sam Moore wing back chair. We were having difficulty choosing the material and she patiently took the time for us to start over and make the decision. Everything smoothed out after that, and she helped us to quickly get through the paperwork. She is an asset to your company.

Huge store, they say it's their biggest. A lot to take in at once! Huge selection of bedroom and living room sets.

Replacing mattresses is a mentally and physically challenging procedure..My mother and I went to shop for new mattresses on a Monday morning . The store in Reading had plenty of social distancing and Hand sanitizing stations.Spencer greeted us and took us through the process. We experienced Bridget the computer that helps read your physical being to find the perfect mattress. We were asked sleep habits and then we were brought to mattresses of various price points with subtle differences that would suit our needs.. at each mattress Spencer asked questions as to our feeling of each mattress and guided us to others that would align with our assessments and wishes..I was very pleased to find one that I hope will give me a good nights sleep as did my 83 year old mother..We did not feel rushed or pressured during the sale.. I would recommend the experience when you need a mattress.

Always have a good experience at Jordan s. Enormous, clean showroom with many choices of styles at varying prices. Never feel rushed. Sales associates are excellent and are absolutely there to help you. No pressure.

I shopped here for a bedroom for my daughter who will be moving to Boston from NY . I am an educated consumer having been a buyer for Bloomingdales and Lord and Taylor. The service here is unbelieveable. I have never had a better shopping experience. I cannot attest yet to the furniture itself - but I am optimistic!

We had a wonderful experience shopping at the Reading store. Stephan Marinello was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to answer all our questions, didn't push us to the more expensive option we were considering and went out of his way to assist us as we picked out fabrics. We were extremely happy with the results. Go Sox!!!!

UPDATE: The superior service continued right through delivery. I was constantly apprised of the status of my furniture arrival, Jordan's was very accommodating as far as scheduling delivery and the two men that delivered the furniture couldn't have been more professional. A very pleasant experience overall. Thank you.

They did a good job installing 5 piece sectional. came on time only thing I had to get my old furniture out of the way and dispose of it.

We knew whatwe wanted the sales staff let us look on our own until we were ready to ask questions. Sal was the sales person he was quite knowledgable about the leather sectional we purchased. Iwould definately tell friends and family and encourage them to visit. Also the burger at Fudruckers was awesome.

Looking for a transitional sofa I first went to Ethan Allen where they made me feel like I couldn't afford their product and so we went to Jordan's. Trish was terrific, patient and not pushy; especially when I came back that night to change the fabric choice. We ended up spending $1000 more than at Ethan Allen. The only thing was I wanted ottoman choices and there weren't many at Jordan's. Trish was going to investigate and follow up with me and never did. SO I am on the hunt myself again. Also, my husband was disappointed that we spent $2500 and weren't offered the Red Sox promo. It was only good on leather sofas and something else. I have to say he has a point since if Trish followed up I probably would have bought 2 ottomans and a rug to boot!

I have frequently purchased from Jordan s and am always satisfied. Once again with my recent purchase of living room furniture I am more than satisfied! I had some problems with the chairs I purchased and your customer service department has gone above and beyond making things right for me. The person who sold me this furniture was more than helpful. I cannot tell enough people to shop at Jordan s. They are the best! I failed to add that Valerie Lewis was my salesperson. Couldn t ask for anyone better. Just loved her and she will always be my go to person. Thank you, Valerie!

It was a great experience. Scott who assisted us in picking out our new beds& mattresses was phenomenal. In over 50+ years of shopping I have never met a more knowledgeable, and accommodating sales rep. He made it a great experience.

Larry Rubino was so helpful!! He helped us pick out furniture for our new place and got to know our style. Never tried to oversell us on anything. Gave us many helpful hints about furniture and making it last. Would recommend him for your furniture needs 10/10 times!

Jordan s Furniture has a lot of great shops in it. You can get an ice cream at Richardson s, have a taste of fudge at Bean Town, and shop for furniture at the many different shops. One problem is the workers work on commission, which makes them pushy. Good place overall.

The gentlemen that delivered and set up my furniture were excellent, I would recommend Jordons Furniture to everyone,great experience from beginning to end!

My husband and I went to get a new bed/mattress and were thoroughly impressed by the selection and customer service.

Excellent sales staff. Knowledgable, helpful info, patient and not pushy or intrusive.

I was greeted bt at least 4 men, two who washed the windows of my car, while I waited, and two helped me put the box ion my car. They measured and worked together to get the box to fit. They were great!

my wife and I have been a customer of Jordan's in Reading for many years. Just recently, we purchased furniture at Reading because of our past excellent experience. We were not disapointed this time. The sales people we worked with were very friendly, courteous and professional. Thanks to their help, we got the furniture we needed at a fair price. They listened courteously and provided very good advice, and they gave us the time we needed to make a decision. This was another excellent experience.

The non-furniture activities are a bit overwhelming at first, but look exciting! The furniture store, in contrast, is very calm and aesthetically pleasing to walk through. The salespeople are all very friendly and kind too!

The folks at Jordan s were great especially Sal whose knowledge of their furniture saved me a trip to another store and money to boot. Great experience.

I worked with Ana Walsh, my daughter needed a new mattress and had never had the Jordan's experience before. She was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. I'm gonna be honest, I don't shop for furniture here, but I definitely come for a movie. The cinema is quite nice, and the Fuddruckers right outside it is way better than normal cinema food. I doubt u can bring it into the cinema, but it's still really convenient.

Everything from the service to the products purchased were perfect.

We recently purchased our baby furniture from Jordan's Furniture. We will never go anywhere else. From the sales experience, to the delivery everything was simple and easy. We are extremely pleased!

I had a very pleasant visit to Jordan s. All of my questions were answered, and I had many. I was told upfront delivery is 8-12 weeks out which I wasn t surprised. At least I was told right away. My sales women spent a lot of time with me patiently configuring different sets and options for me. I can t wait to get my new recliners.

Incompetent salesperson. Purchased a new chair that I needed for recovery from surgery. Salesperson told me it was in-stock and would be available for pickup the next day( which was the day of operation). My partner went to pickup during my surgery only to find no chair and that the salesperson had marked it for delivery in a week. We explicitly told him the chair was needed the next day, so I can't see how he could have mistakenly thought I would want it a week later. I would no recommend this store if you expect to get reasonable service. (He even called the warehouse in front of me confirming it would be available the next day)

Got just enough but not too much help selecting a sectional and the fabric and other details for the options. Great selections an service.

The experience was great we worked with Laura in the design center to help us pick out furniture for the living room, dining room and family room. I very good experience. The delivery went smooth as well. Very professional in all aspects

We had the best sales experience ever! Adam King helped us find the perfect mattress. He was knowledgeable and great to talk with. Amazing customer service. We will be back to the Reading Sleep lab for the next mattress thanks to Adam!

We had a fabulous experience at Jordan's Furniture. We went to find a mattress and we were assisted by Luke Sinclair. He was extremely helpful, he used their sleep technology Bridge IT to find what type of mattress worked best for us and found the perfect fit in our price range. He also was very helpful in giving information regarding payment plans, delivery, and warranty. We left with not only the right mattress but an enhance power base that we love and will be a great fit for our home, which Luke had also suggested to us. Other staff were friendly and helpful throughout the store as well, and I am sure we will be returning. Great customer service and products.

Great customer service! Bought my mattress on tax free weekend, which was very busy. The sleep lab had a very long line to help customers purchasing a mattress, but as we approached one of their staff members they were very happy to assist us immediately.

The furniture store is fantastic, but Jordan's is a family destination for the Beansprouts rope course, farm fresh ice cream, Fuddruckers, and the IMAX theater. We bring out of town family here as a tourist attraction!

Very positive experience with Carmello. The store feels Covid-19 safe. Every one was friendly and helpful from entering to exiting.

Leaves much to be desired in service. Be sure to get all the info up front and plan accordingly. We ordered a new sofa. They don't tell you up front, but their policy is that they will deliver the new furniture, but not take away or move the old furniture. They were content to leave our living room as in the picture. I offered $40 extra per person to move out the old sofa to the curb, but "it wasn't worth it".

Went to purchase a new mattress after doing some Web research. Purchased one in less than 15 minutes...great service and knowledgeable advice given by white coated tech about Beautyrest and Sealy brands. Delivery was only two days away! Delivery folks were professional and competent. Jordan's prices are fair for removing the old mattress, also. Enjoyed our visit to the Reading store...lots of exciting things to see and taste before or after shopping for furniture.

As always an awesome experience. Whether it s for the water show, a movie or furniture shopping, every piece of furniture in my house is from Jordan s. You get what you pay for and with Jordan s you walk away a winner.

Our Sleep technician was Gail Sears and she really was wonderful. She showed us many different mattresses and helped us find the right one for both of us. We were shopping with 5 children between the ages of 2-8 and this was not a problem for Gail at all. There was no pressure to buy. I actually called Gail the next day to place our order over the phone! You are lucky to have her on your team!!

Having been customers of Jordan's for many years, we have come to expect very positive relationships with sales staff. Our latest shopping experience was further confirmation of our expectations. Ana Walsh patiently guided us through the many options available for mattresses and power bed frames, offering her advice without being pushy or condescending (sales traits we have unfortunately seen in other stores). She deserves kudos for her patience and professionalism.

Just that little extra concern shown by sale people to helping us find what we were looking for and could find made the experience pleasurable.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Jordan's. I was there with my mom and friend. I went back and forth deciding on fabric and color. And also changed my mind on the type of accent chair I was going to purchase right when we were ready to place the order. Mary was very patient and went with the flow. Very dissapointed that such a big name like Jordan's furniture doesn't carry Martha stewarts line of furniture! You carry Rachael ray and joanna gaines collections! Why not martha stewarts? She has been around long before the others! Plus the quality of her products is always

Lots of choices but entrance area is very loud . Carnival-like atmosphere.

I just spent about 40 minutes walking at a steady pace through bedroom furniture and never saw the same piece twice. For a minute, I thought I may have been walking to Narnia. MASSIVE place, but salespeople are relaxed and helpful. Bravo, Jordan's!

My husband and I went to the Sleep Center at Jordan s. Our sales rep, Darrell Slane, was awesome! We both went through the Bridge-It system to determine the correct mattress support we would need. Based on the results, Darrell took us through the recommended mattresses. He was extremely patient and knowledge, giving us recommendations based on our needs and even took the time to measure platform beds in the store to give us an idea of the correct height to get into our new bed and mattress! We would highly recommend great experience!

Scott was very helpful and very patient with me and my small, excitable and rambunctious daughter as I bought my first queen mattress late on a weeknight. He honored and respected the modest budget I gave him in every way. Not one mattress he showed me exceeded it, and the mattress I chose and a protective cover came in well under budget. As he was ringing me up,, Scott gave me great advice on how to properly break the mattress in and maintain it, explained the (awesome) warranty and satisfaction and price-lock guarantees in a thorough and conversational way that held my attention. Turns out the mattress I ordered was already on a truck and would be ready for delivery the next business day! All in all, it was a terrific experience and I am so excited to try out my purchase as soon as it arrives! Thanks, Scott!

Shopping for bar stool type chairs. Walked into Jordan's and was somewhat overwhelmed by this larger then life furniture store. A salesman we ran into who asked us if we needed help took us directly to the area displaying a huge assortment of bar stools. He proceeded to informs us, guide us and educate us about the stools available. He was very customer oriented and provided us with great service and information which ended in a sale and very satisfied customers.

Bought two benchmaster recliners - good price, great chairs. Service was very good, from the sales force through delivery and installation.

Our sales lady Diane is outstanding. This is the second time (at Least) and I don't think there s anything about furniture she doesn't know! She guided us to exactly the type of love seat my wife was looking for.
The store is well organized and easy to browse with an on-site Fuddruckers to grab a quick meal at.

My furniture was delivered earlier than expected which was great. Very nice delivery guys. Salesman was very helpful when I placed my order. Unlike Sears, where I originally placed this same order, Sears has very rude sales people. They lie to customers and are very insulting. Sales staff at Jordan's is nothing but friendly, kind and very considerate. Would never do business with Sears again. Jordan's, you have my business!
