The staff needs to do better. They treated my grandfather so poorly. He would ring for them and no one would answer. If we could give 0 stars, we would. They also lost his dentures.

If I could rate 0 stars I would, staff are pretty nice mostly but if you truly have an emergency GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Been waiting 2 hrs 45 mins in waiting room and counting. Smh definitely last time I come back!

My husband had abdominal pain and needed gallbladder out. The Smithfield ED got him back quickly and the staff was wonderful. I was very impressed since the ED was very busy! Great work! Thank you for being such a caring group of people.

I had to bring my child and they just put us in a room that has not been clean at all soda on floor trash over flowing and nurses and doctors laughing.No one from house keeping came to the room when ask about it they look at me crazy. This is sad if is wasn t late I would go to Raleigh or Garner

I can't speak more highly of the staff and doctors associated with this hospital. I came in transfered from another hospital. Everyone here has been fantastic! 5 days here and I have yet to encounter one rude/disgruntled/annoyed employee. I highly recommend coming here first.

So In addition to the appt cost, lab costs and diagnostic cost with our OB visit, they billed a CPT code for TIME. This falls outside of completely covered services. This is an upcode charge and still costs $200 after insurance payment. The doctor himself wrote a code to BILL for the time. This is definitely a predatory practice.

The nurses, aides and doctors were nothing but friendly, answered all our questions. Took great care of our mother. Terrific hospital!

Bedside manner is the best. All the nurses and doctors I had seen during my labor and delivery were amazing and very attentive. They explained everything to me in a manner I understood and made sure I was taken cared of. I would highly recommend this hospital and it s staff! The rooms are really nice too.

Doctors, nurses and staff were very friendly/knowledgeable. My daughter was seen quickly and discharge was a breeze! Only concern was the beefed up security which had me a little concerned that maybe it was in a bad neighborhood - metal detector, bag check and many security officers walking around. Not really a complaint if they are keeping crime down with their presence.

I am currently at this hospital in the ER. First, I asked for a Patient Advocate and the woman I asked said, For what? I advised for concerns and complaints. She told me they only had suggestion cards. I know all about Patient Advocates and Risk Management and that everyone has them because my mother is a doctor in the ER and everyone in my family is in the medical field. Nonetheless, the encounter I have had with them thus far is that the employees of this hospital has the most terrible bedside manner I ve ever seen in a hospital. Rang the nurse s station and they never answered, just turned off the notification. Everybody here seems like they are sick of their jobs and doesn t want to help anyone. Will see how the rest of the visit goes.
