About 5 minutes from my house, looks nice, never had a problem finding parking; I went here twice for the ER already, never had to wait long... am usually discharged from the ER within 2 hours or less (amazing, because I've been at hospitals for upwards of 5 hours or more when I go to the ER in other states). My one problem is that some administrative front desk staff are better than others, depending who you get. Like, I have Tricare because we're military, and they no longer accept the SS# of the sponsor for verification in their system, they take the DoD Benefits number instead; but some will refuse to listen until they're typing it in like 3x and wondering why it's not showing... but you get know-it-all like that no matter where you go, or what kind of business it is. Most of the administrative staffers seem to be up-to-date with it, but I guess it's probably the ones who like to start fights on social media and pretend like they're doctors because they work in a medical setting... you know the kind I'm talking about.

I had a wonderful labor and delivery experience at Johnson. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, from my first panicked phone call letting them know I was on the way to the follow up appointment days after our discharge. The L&D protocols are thoughtful, mom and baby focused, and evidence based. We appreciated that delayed cord clamping, immediate and prolonged skin-to-skin contact, and delayed bathing were all standard, and the team did an excellent job informing us of their procedures and our medical options. In addition, each member of the team thoroughly educated us on infant care in preparation for our discharge. Our pediatrician was impressed by everything we'd already learned during our short hospital stay and didn't have anything to add that hadn't already been shared be the JMH team. Huge thanks to Lindsey, Cala, Mandy, Dr. Carter, and Dr. VanWoert for their superb care. We couldn't have asked for a better childbirth experience!

I came at this hospital with huge pain in my left chest on 09/14/2021. I almost kicked the church bell that night. ER people got me within 4-5 minutes. Got immediately my urine and blood samples trying to figure out what's the reason of my chest pain. After that they did scan and ultrasound of my body. I was at the point I couldn't breath. Keep in mind I don't have ANY medical history since I've NEVER been to a doctor or hospital. It took them quite a bit time until they figured it out. However, once they were sure what was causing my pain they started to threat me immediately. They hospitalized me for 3 nights bringing me back to life. I was almost gone. They kept me alive! After all that's what counts. I will be forever thankful to them about that. All of this they did knowing fully I don't have insurance. If it was another hospital I'm not sure if they even would accept me as their patient. Johnson Memorial Hospital not only accepted me but they took really good care of me also. I'm really considering once I'm fully recovered I would go back to them as volunteer. Thank you to all nurses and doctors at JMH!!!

I was brought in by ambulance and had a panic attack while waiting. When the nurses saw this, they started treating me completely different, acting like I couldn't hear them and talking about their frustrations with me and my symptoms like I wasn't in the room, until one of them threw a paper bag at me and left. I ended up having such a bad episode i had to leave the hospital without getting treatment, and because of this I was billed AMA (thousands of dollars for them actually doing nothing). Absolutely horrible. I will die before returning, and i will die before paying this medical bill. The staff here is absolutely awful.

Amazing doctors, super clean hospital.

Amazing doctors, super clean hospital.
They have several specialists in their facility that have done remarkable procedures on my husband foot. Doctors in Kentucky could not help.
Hoosier foot and ankle helped him when no one else would

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Basically, if you go to the ER get ready to wait 15-20 minutes even if you come in with a dog bite. After they do the bare minimum treatment wise, get ready to receive not one, not two, but three different bills from them for your one day of service. Do yourself a favor and go to Franciscan if you need an ER.

Great experience having our first child. Dr. Andrew s was great pre and postpartum. along with the medical team that went with her during delivery. All performed their jobs exceptionally and were very attentive and answered all questions. When discussing what hospital to go to people had something negative to say about any of them. But we are very happy that we came here.

My mother was in the hospital yesterday due to a car accident. The staff failed to check her fully. She has been hurting and believes she may have a cracked tailbone. They sent her home with no pain killers AT ALL, and they didn t even bother to bring her a wheelchair despite the fact that she had trouble walking out, and my stepdad was the only one that was helping her. I sure hope that this hospital gets their employees in check because this is completely unacceptable. I am not happy.
