I cannot adequately express just how much the nurses, techs, etc, at the outpatient infusion center, mean to my family. After two years of treatment; sometimes bi-weekly and often, daily, visits with my son, he didn t get the cure we had hoped for, but the kindness, professionalism and dedication of the nurses and techs made the journey bearable. They always had a smile, were unfailingly patient, respectful and just as optimistic for a good outcome as we were. They celebrated good results and sympathized with bad ones. This journey would have been impossible without them.
Spent seven hours in the emergency room last night, had tests done to try and find the cause of spontaneous and intense pain.
Staff failed to tell me that any person who could read my tests had gone home for the night, and would not be back until tomorrow.
Test results were NOT given to me, nor was diagnosis/treatment. Furthermore, the bureaucrat on the Medical Records office refused to give me the test results in a timely manner, despite me following proper form and HIPAA compliance. They had no issue taking money from my insurance, unsurprisingly.
I may be suffering a medical emergency, and I have no way to find out if I am or not, thanks to these insufferable cogs.
My husband and I unfortunately have been to many hospitals over the years, I feel I could write a travel guide book to the best ones and what they offer. John Hopkins is number one In my book. They were quick to admit him, manage the symptoms and kind to both him and I. We were humans. I truly appreciate the kindness and how thorough the staff was. Emily C
My husband is a outpatient at JH. .... Although it's a very sad place to be ...all of the staff are wonderful ... warm, friendly and very helpful... A great tribute to management ....
I am appalled at the lack of care and concern the medical staff demonstrate for their patients here. It is a maze of confusion to navigate this system. My mother is a 92 year-old woman diagnosed with bone cancer, and the way the medical staff has communicated with me about her care has been cold, robotic, inefficient, and not empathetic in any way. Her surgeon is highly skilled, so he will be performing her surgery, but after that, we will be definitely be going elsewhere!!!!
My sister is in their Oncology ICU unit right now. I cannot say ENOUGH good things about her medical team. They are awesome! After dealing with incompetent and uncaring hospitals like Southern M.D. hospital this place is like club med! Thank you Dr. Weiss and all ur interns. I KNOW my sister is in good hands!
The beauty and elegance of the Sidney Kimmel center mattered so much during my radiation treatment there. The building is gorgeous with plants, flowers and wonderful art. I felt priivileged to be going there each time. I am amazed at the power of beauty and planning to counteract unpleasant events. I will be forever grateful for that beautiful building and setting. Thank you.
No matter how old we get, going into a hospital for any procedure can be stressful. From the moment I entered the hospital, the entire staff were friendly, cordial, and gave me the feeling of confidence in my choice. I absolutely can't give enough stars to this fine group of professionals!
My other half had pancreatic surgery, Dr Makarey was the surgeon....the cam-blue team was amazing, the nursing staff on 4-C is the best.....a special thanks to his nurse Tom
Great technology, great facilities, but it's run extremely poorly. You shouldn't have to beg people to do their jobs or wait for calls that never come.
