John makes everything to absolute perfection. I usually order the California Chicken with French Onion Soup, and it is memorizing. Also, the atmosphere is great, the whole restaurant is decorated with old-fashioned clocks.
Great food, great place to stop along Rt. 17! We make it a point to get dinner every time we pass.

I visited Johns Harvest Inn last Wednesday and was very impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. John added a personal touch by stopping by our table to ensure that we were all enjoying our visit. The pumpkin bread was so incredibly delicious that we bought two loaves to take home with us. Highly recommended!
Sorry to say but this place is not good. The customer service is awful, delivery took over an hour not once but twice, and then the food was cold. Tried it a few times, not impressed, would not recommend.

Amazing food and atmosphere! Wife and I heard about John's in Hudson Valley, took a chance for date-nite last Friday, and so glad we did! Once inside, you are transported to a very tasteful, interesting, sophisticated but friendly environment! Drinks, wine, food fantastic! He and staff friendly and professional. No rush dining. Families and couples there, and we had a quiet romantic corner. Thank you, John for a wonderful evening. We will be back.
John's Harvest Inn served a wonderful brunch for my daughter's bridal shower. I had 31 people and everyone said it was excellent. My guests thought it was lovely. The food was delicious and the lace table cloths, Waverly wallpaper, and antique clocks looked beautiful. It was the perfect venue for her bridal shower. Thanks so much for making it a special day!
