After a long walk up the mountains, I went to Johnnie Foxes for lunch and I must say the food was delicious. I was served through a window by two young red-haired gentlemen who were both more than helpful and even offered me a cup of water (it was a tough walk!). Couldn't recommend it enough. Brilliant food, staff and breathtaking scenery. I will be back!!

Great place for a Sunday dinner and live music and mid week lunch, for visitors to Dublin it s a very interesting place to visit it is served by Dublin bus that stops outside , but is best visited by car, taken in the views of the Dublin mountains on accent. The muscles , seafood chowder and lamb shank with seasonal vegetables mash potatoes and Gravy is a delicious dish , the shanks are slow cooked and literally falls of the bone. Looking forward to a visit after lockdown.

The oldest pub with the best Irish Dance Shows eve...

The oldest pub with the best Irish Dance Shows ever. Pub is located in beautiful Dublin mountains, some 35 mins from city center or 10 mins from Sandyford (south Dublin area). Delicious traditional Irish food, safe checks at the entrance, sanitizers all over the place, friendly and helpful staff and the most delicious pint of Guinness ever. If you are first time visitor, this place alltogether with Guinness Store House or Temple Bar have to be on 'must see' list. You will find small gallery space inside, beautiful cosy/retro beer garden, old timers, and the best craic ever there. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful place to visit but due to lockdown you cannot enter the premises. We got a takeaway drink. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. There is quite a lot to see outside to do with irish history

This pub is a place you have to visit. It's a hell of alot more than just a pub, between the drive to get there to begin with ( no matter what side you come from its worth it ), to the view when you arrive which is stunning and I haven't even begun to describe the food or the service. The food is the third of four factors to make this experience really special. Delicious, excellently cooked and well seasoned brought together by a really good menu. And last but not least, the service. Even in these truncated times the service is as friendly and helpful as you could wish for. Above and beyond are my last three words
