I have purchased my GMCs at other dealers, based on the used Acadia selection having exactly what we wanted, but always return to John Paul for service. We have other family members now coming here as well based on how great they treat my wife and I.

Bought our 12 Terrain in December 2011no problems so far. Staff is helpfull dealership is very clean.Using this dealership since 2007no pressure here.
My daughter took her car here to have her radio looked at because the volume control on steering wheel is not working. They said it needed a software update and that would fix the problem. Didn't fix problem and they still tryed to charge her. They then tryed to sell her a 600.00 raido. I'm just glad i was with her. Sounds to me that they just replace parts until the problem is fixed

Not sure about this, battery replacement was reasonable, however I don't trust any mechanic s due to they at times pretend to give u new part, but you be given used parts so beware

This occurred some time ago, but I feel like it needs to be noted for future customers.
S.O. purchased a used vehicle, when she picked it up, promised maintenance had not been performed AND we found that their sales person had written a google review (since removed) under her FULL NAME, giving them a glowing review.
When I confronted the used sales manager about it and asked to have the forged review removed and the repairs that they promised performed, he sat there in his desk and accused me of extortion. Those were his words, "extortion"...
After calls to their customer service manager and sitting there alone in his office for a while, he agreed to the small maintenance and their customer service manager that I spoke to was absolutely mortified that every person on their staff that I had to deal with acted so rudely and unprofessionally. It was too little too late. From the management to the sales staff all the way to service, I have never been so thoroughly sickened by a company.
This was the single worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would rather pay more for a car at a reputable place with helpful staff that won't make slanderous accusations or defraud you than buy a lower cost used car here.

Upon arrival it took 20mins to check my vehicle in for my 830appt time. In which case my husband had to leave me there to take his son to school. All this occurred in front of the service Tech, and at no point was I offered a complimentary ride to home/work, So I stood and waited for my husband to return to pick me up after finally getting things situated.
While checking my vehicle in, I stated that I would be taking my old tires as to not pay the "disposal fee". I came back later in the day, to pick up/pay for the services. Upon arriving home I looked over my receipt to see that I had still been charged the $16 disposal fee. Which was listed right below a note that stated "customer will be taking old tires". My father stopped back today to get a refund for the $16, because I am at work today, but in fact no one should have had to come back to the dealership. Had I not looked through my receipt, I would have gotten charged for a service that I never used. Not winning on Customer Service for the second time at your dealership!
the work was done to our satisfaction and more quickly than expected. I was surprised when I reviewed the paperwork and it mentioned services I decline but had really not even been made aware of - they were marked yellow as a watch but nothing was mentioned in our phone call. I had another technician explain what the comments referred to and what discuss if we should be concerned.

The salesman, Dick Kaul, is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly no nonsense professional. He responds promptly and offers a fair price and delivers on what he says and streamlines the whole buying process!
Very happy with the service that I received. Worked with Joe and he and the mechanic were very thorough and helpful in diagnosing the problem with my vehicle.
Nothing on the website talked about the car having been in an accident. Driving over a hour away for a disappointment, not to mention the all the rust, scratches, bondo filler, and the brakes being shot.
Salesman didn't seem too eager to answer questions, repeatedly told me to look online, guess he had something more important to do....

Went to go get emission testing done they were fast and friendly.
They was able to get my truck in the same day I called them for a oil change and tire rotation. They completed all the work in two hours which was very fast the total of the bill was very good as well. Thanks......

Overall it was a great experience! We only spent a few hours getting the purchase finalized. We were able to do most of it over the phone or by email. Lisa was very friendly and willing to assist with any questions or concerns.
Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I set expectations up front on what I needed and was willing to consume and he respected that. I never felt pushed or pressured and the process was a very comfortable and smooth one. Something that I can not say for past experiences. Horrible place. Please do not buy a car from those people. They lie to you about what your car has installed, but it is to late once you find out. They are very rude. From the women that answers the phone to the mechanics in back. I have left there crying.
A waste of time today. I got a call (from the GMC dealership) last Thursday 12/10/2020 for a recalled part on my windshield wipers (Canadian Vehicle). They said it'll take a week for parts to come in. My appointment was today at 2pm. Got there and they said that I had to reside in Canada for the recalled part.
I had my oil changed, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. Joseph Carini was my service advisor. He was very thorough when explaining the service done with my vehicle. Highly recommend John Paul's Service.

I have gone to John Paul s GMC for years. The service department is amazing and I love working with Steve B. Unfortunately I had an issue with a repair and the service manager Mike E., he keep his word and took care of my problem. This is a great company and they have outstanding employees, also great customer service!

Trying to figure out why I keep giving this place second chances to earn my trust and business. If it was not for the recall notice on the ignition key, I might not have came here. But since the car was at 55,000 miles on a 2008 Lucerne I figured it would be wise to have a full servicing of the vehicle performed too.
For having a 60,000 mile service package, I cannot verify all the work was performed. I know the package was to include a full lubrication of all moving parts including door hinges, yet is is obvious that that was not performed since my doors still squeak, and there is no evidence of lubricants applied. Not a good sign.
What else was not done? Were the brakes really serviced and surfaced? Were all the fluids replaced or filled?
I really hate it when you go to pick up your vehicle you are simply directed to a cashier, and have no final report from the service representative.
Always great service from start to finish. I enjoy the knowledgable techs and sales people from explaining different services to being helpful with changing the tv station while you waiting for an oil change. If you are looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend stopping by. Ask for Andre.
We leased a 2016 GMC Terrain from the John Paul dealership. We were treated well and more importantly - with HONESTY!! We told them where we needed to keep our payments and what we could afford for "up-fronts". They did it. A different dealership wanted a lot more up front and about $10 a month more for payments for the EXACT same car. They were both getting it from a different dealership in the area. Thank you to our salesman, Louis and his manager. They're awesome. We've bragged about them to others already and will continue to do so. LOVE HONESTY!!!
I am grateful that service writer, Steve Krivos, recommended I upgrade to the Ambassador level detailing package. I am delighted with the cleaning and restorative work the crew did on the interior, engine compartment, trunk and body. Steve takes great care of my car and has excellent communication habits.

JUST GOT MY CAR FIXED 1079$ LATER I CAN FINALLY DRIVE IT. YOU SUCK JON PAULS DONT BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! If they had a negative -20 rating that's what I would give them.....Had my 2008 Acadia for a week and was able to drive it for 1 day. The steering shook horribly on the way home. I was told by Mr Robert Stefan that the car drove like it had 40,000 miles on it and he had personally been on 2 test drives earlie in the week. I live almost 4 hrs away and arrived right at closing time. I got a quote because I was told my tie rod ends were bad but later found out it was my steering rack. $12,000 car and I can't even drive it because my mechanic highly advised against it. $900 bill to get it back on the road. Very dissapointed. I was also told by Mr Randy Zimmerman that I shouldn't have traveled so far to buy a car, and this is the issue. He also told me because I came in so close to closing time that a test drive would have been a problem because there was 5 guys waiting to go home to there families. I guess making money doesn't mean much to him because he had to stay. Mr Stefan also told me, " sorry I don't have time to show you much about your new car and all the features and gadgets" I guess I was an inconvenience to this dealership. The car is not even safe enough to drive back down there for them to RE-INSPECT. Apparently 40 yrs experience is what's in the service department, 40 yrs to long from what I can see......Highly disappointed and all I got was $ 288 toward my $900 bill. For a struggling father of 2 this is the worst car buying experience ever. Mr Zimmerman (the used car manager) also told me if I bring it down to have it looked at that I would probably get no results because it already passed inspection. 40 yrs of experience in the service department couldn't see this issue. My mechanic is as honest as they come and Mr Zimmerman was concerned that he was trying to jack up the price of the fix. All I wanted of a 12,000 dollar car was to be able to drive it.
Poor customer service (would give '0' stars if possible). Mother went into test drive a Buick Envision Premium II (loved the car) but wanted to discuss pricing on the Premium model. Salesman wouldn't even discuss pricing (flat out said "no") on the package she wanted unless she committed to purchasing the car (without knowing final price). Unfortunately for John Paul's Buick GMC, they lost a sale and we will be leasing/purchasing from another dealership.
Stopped in to get a recalled part replaced. I had a hole in my tire and asked if they could patch it as well, was told they couldn t and it would cost $100 to get a new tire. Went to a local auto shop to get an oil change, they noticed the leak and patched it in front of me in less than 5 minutes. They get a five star review, you get two.
I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and I was completely satisfied with service, and it completed faster than I expected.

Totally would not send anyone here to bye or service there cars. They get away with up selling serves you don't need and treat the handicap like they are stupid and have lots of cash.
I took my Monte Carlo in with the "Check Engine" light on and had them replace a $1.00 bulb. After an hour and a half, I was told that I needed a thermostat and they'd need to get the part. I couldn't waste any more time, so they wrote up an estimate and a bill - another 15 minutes or so. After an hour and 3/4 (or more), my bill came to $96.33 for to replace a $1.00 bulb and give me an estimate ($168) to replace the thermostat (a $5-$7 part - retail). When I asked why it was so much the service representative just pointed to my initials and said "you signed for it".
I bought my car there and am shopping for a new car, but I will never go back there, not for service and absolutely not for my next vehicle. This is not the first time they have "fluffed up" the labor charges and had me sitting in their waiting room for excessive amounts of time. Sorry folks. I have better things to do and other service centers that are more reasonable on cost and time.
