The educational approach here feels rigid, prioritizing structure over creativity. 🤔 While I appreciate the focus on a well-rounded curriculum, the atmosphere lacks warmth, making it challenging for students who thrive in more engaging environments. The communication with parents could also use improvement, as updates are infrequent. Overall, I expected more flexibility and support. 🎓
Don't listen to the hating kids' reviews, they couldn't even spell "torcher" right. John Adams isn't perfect, but it's a great school. The environment is friendly and respectful, bullying never happens and it's easy to make friends with the other scholars and teachers. The classical education is also a plus, and the scheduling is great for high school, makes the workload easier to manage. Not a bad school overall, though lacking in a place to play, like a real grass area, unlike the other JAA school in Lincoln and El Dorado. As a scholar here, I'd recommend it!
This place is amazing! As a scholar I have really appreciated what JAA has done for me. All of the teachers here are amazing and they are very helpful.I am very thankful to this school for teaching me the ten core values and many more. For me the homework is easy and the program is amazing. Most of the kids are nice and respectful.I highly recommend this school.
Amazing. That is the one word that comes to my mind when describing this school and it's staff. We have a child that requires special accommodations and John Adams Academy has gone over and beyond to help assist our child. There are no words to express are complete gratitude but you at least deserve a wonderful review.
What an exquisite facility. I base my entire life off of the ten core values and everything I do revolves around them. My knowledge of the founding fathers of our beautiful and simply exquisite country has increased dramatically since arriving here. I've learned many useful skills that I am sure I can apply later in life like 2 years of Latin (a very useful language that is spoken often if you live in the 5th century) or knowledge of what Joan of Arc's middle name was or the number of acres George Washington owned. I also simply love being able to choose between three whole outfits to wear each day which consist of a very comfortable collared polo shirts and stylish slacks. Highly recommend this school to everyone if they also want to become a Latin speaking classical learner.

Can I rave about Mrs. Corkill!? She's my son's TK teachers and she's been amazing! Any help I need, shes been more than helpful and goes an extra mile if I need anything. I really hope that my John Adam's experience will be as great as our first year.
I went to this school from kindergarten through 4th grade. I don't know where to start. The amount of homework given at this school is ridiculous. The amount of time to eat compared to the amount of time to sit around and hangout on freetime is just sad. Give this a thumbs up if you don't like this school.

i am a scholar in this school and it is so wonderful they have so many great teacher and i have been at this school for 6 years and this school is the best.
We love John Adams Academy! My children attend the El Dorado Hills campus. They have enjoyed their time at this school. So many wonderful families attend. This school requires a 40 hour a year volunteer commitment per family, which really helps bring in strong families. My children are receiving a great education. We love the 10 core values they teach the students. They are taught them everyday. We appreciate the patriotism our children are learning. And one thing we notice compared to our public school is the way they tackle problems and issues in a quick and well thought manner. We are very pleased with our experience here.
