Had a wonderful meal on the beautiful blue Detroit river with friends. All of our food was delicious but want to give a special shout out to the halibut and the coconut cake. Joseph was a friendly attentive waiter that helped create a special day.
Romance with a fantastic view is the best way to describe this place! The ambiance is perfect for a date night, special dinner or surprise! There was a pianist playing live music and the staff is so friendly! Our server Chik made the experience so positive! Not to mention the lobster bisque was possibly the best I ever had! We will definitely be back! Note: there is a dress code, so no hats and I believe it s just business casual.
What a great experience to have yellowtail and sushi at lunch time. That was toped with a great cocktail made by professionals. The location is just incredible being inside the Renaissance Center (GM Towers) and the view is inspiring to come definitely more often. Ask for the General Manager Lee, - she was wonderful and was accommodating us to our satisfaction. The bar setup is well organized and well stocked for even international cocktail requests. We will be back.
Our waitress Bridgette was awesome she was so sweet and courteous with her service. I recommend Bridgette for a server anytime. Food was awesome my steak cooked just right. My flourless chocolate souffle was to die for.
I was taken here for a surprise birthday dinner. I had a very pleasant and upscale experience! The staff was warm and welcoming and the meal was fabulous. If you have not visited, you should definitely add this restaurant to your list.
This place is Kosher! Good food, good service. They have dress code and evening time they booked completely, people love this place
Me and my boyfriend went here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Out of all of the fine dining we have done in Detroit, this is now at the top of our list. Our waiter CJ was excellent, and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was so romantic, and you have a nice view of the river. We will definitely be back!
Joe Muer serves absolutely the BEST steak everrrrrrr! Unreal flavor, tender, soft as butter. Truly a wonderful experience to dine at this gorgeous place. Beautiful view of the Detroit River. Service was amazing, wait staff extremely professional and very friendly. Our server made the entire experience so worth it. Forgot to mention their sushi is a 5 star for sure! I'm just sad why I haven't been here sooner? Why I didn't know about this place before! This place is my #1 for sure! Oh and don't forget the cleanliness, it's sure sparkling. Before you can enter the main building, you must go through a screening for covid symptoms, you MUST sanitize your hands to be allowed to walk inside (the guard is very serious about this) :) and then you get a temp check too! LOVED IT ALL. Thank you for keeping everyone safe.
This restaurant is amazing every time. The service is top notch. The food is wonderful. I've never had a bad experience. Enjoying dinner with a view is just another plus to an already great dining experience. We love Joe Muer!
