Amazing place. Friendly people and they give a great tour of the facility. There is a gift shop and a mini museum up front. It's no wonder that this team has been so successful. Joe Gibbs is a spectacular leader and it is driven down through the company.
The facilities were spotless and the lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The gift shop had a lot of items and they were not overpriced. Just like the race team it was first class.
What an eye opener. Over 20 years in racing myself, at all levels, and I was blown away. Might as well have been at a NASA facility with rocket ships and all. Gibbs has a Totally unbelieve organization. Drew Nabb gave us an great tour. Sorry no photos on the inside of the facilities but you can take photos of the show room
Fun Day at Fan Fest!! A lot of great energy as JoeGibbsRacing does a great job at showing appreciation for their fans and followers. Terrific raffle to support their Foundation of helping others. Joe even gave us free donuts from the Donut Truck! Thank you Joe Gibbs Racing!

We would highly recommend visiting for an experience to see a glimpse of the behind the scenes of racing. We were welcomed first thing after we walked through the doors. The staff is very friendly and there is a ton of memorabilia to browse through. You have the opportunity to sit and overlook the garage where they build the cars. Watching the process of racecars being built was pretty neat! The gift shop supplies anything and everything.
Very welcoming receptionist Would have like to look for more than 30 minutes but traffic from Atlanta to Charlotte took a couple hours longer than expected. Pretty big shop. Amazing to see what goes into preparing a car for the series. Got a free lugnut in gift shop.
If I could give this more that 5 stars I would. This was by far the best race shop to go to. You walk in and you can see the cars of all 4 Cup Series drivers, a Motocross bike, and a production Toyota Camry. To the left is the gift shop. The gift shop has a lot of good stuff in clearance. They also give out race used lug nuts and hero cards for free. If you walk past the receptionist desk, you will go into a room where you can sit down and view people working on car in the shop. There is also trophy cases in the walls. By far the best race shop.
You are greeted as soon as you open the door at this facility. The secretary/receptionist stood from her desk and welcomed us in.
She asked had we been there before, and we had, however, she still explained to us where everything is located and to enjoy our visit and do not hesitate to ask any questions.
The gift shop is very clean, and well supplied and organized.
The trophy cases are amazing and have all the trophies won by the JGR drivers past/present.
The overlook observation area is very spacious with an amazing view of the shop floor. You can see all the cars at various steps of the process from the bare chassis, to the cars covered ready for transport.
The theater is state of the art, and shows a very cool movie on a continuous loop.
As I stated this was not our first visit, and this one was not planned per se, as we live about 45 minutes away, and had to be in the Huntersville area on this specific date (06/11/18) so we just dropped in.
As luck would have it, we saw Coach Gibbs on the shop floor below, and he waved up to us and smiled. As we walked back toward the trophy cases, the elevator opened, and yes, Coach Gibbs walked out of the elevator and had my wife, my son and I follow him over to the receptionist desk, where he autographed 2 of his NY Times Best Seller Books, and gave one to my wife and I, and one to my son. He chatted with us for a few minutes, and took time to take a picture with us. I have been a fan of Joe Gibbs since I was 7 years old, and 36 years later I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet him with my family.
This place is so well maintained and beautiful. The grounds outside are equally as impressive and well manicured. There isn t any wonder why Joe Gibbs has been successful in any endeavors he has approached. His faith in God, and attention to detail is unrivaled by most. A visit to his shop, and if you re lucky, and opportunity to meet him will substantiate that!
