Jim did some work for us last year when we moved into our new home. Based on the Google reviews we decided to hire his company. There were several problems that ensued. The first issue was something that was completely avoidable. We asked him for black mulch and he proceeded to go out and pick up brown mulch. His reasoning was that his supplier didn't have the black mulch. I think most professionals would check with the customer before altering orders. Additionally, he dropped the mulch on the driveway and didn't use a tarp. We had a brown stain on the asphalt for weeks after that. My wife and I were not pleased but we decided to let him finish the job since we didn't have anything overly complicated left for him to do. They ended up staying late (it was dark when they left) because one of their workers decided to quit on the job. I will say that they did a good job trimming and removing old bushes. The mulch looked good when it was initially put down. However, it didn't look good for long and I'll get to that later. We asked him to replace our old large bushes with bushes that were similar in size. He planted several small bushes instead and only two have survived. We needed a french drain installed in the backyard and his foreman claimed that he knew how to do it. His price was far cheaper than anyone else I quoted, which should've been a red flag. Long story short, he dug a trench from a downspout to a catch basin in the middle of the yard. That's it. When it rained the catch basin filled up with water because it had nowhere to go and a big pool of water would form. Needless to say, I was given a refund for that part. Fast forward three weeks and the mulch they installed now had weeds and looked as if it had been sitting out for months. The color was mostly gone. Compared to the service my neighbors have received from legitimate landscapers, I feel like we were ripped off. I blame myself for not seeing the red flags and telling him thanks but no thanks. He seemed like a nice guy but I needed a someone who could give us landscaping that would increase our home's curb appeal. Not someone who smiles and takes your money while putting in minimal effort. He was barely there to supervise his workers and left that task to his young foreman. There are several other professional landscapers in the area that will give you your money's worth. I will never use this company again.
Jim and his crew just came out and mulched our large property. They did an excellent job cleaning out all the debris and weedy grass. The home looks amazing.
I have only had positive results from all the different treatments during the spring, summer and fall season. My lawn and shrubs haven't looked this good in years. I give 5 stars to Jim Lawn and Landscape

I had an outstanding experience!! New to the area and received a resonable quote scheduled my appointment the team was professional, polite and made my lawn look amazing!!!!!
He came out and gave an estimate. He scheduled a day to come out. On that day he called and said he had the flu, I guess his entire crew was sick? He rescheduled for the following week and thet day he never showed and no call just a no show. Wasted our time, don't use this guy.
