Had our truck serviced. They were fast and did a great job. Russell was very helpful and even provided me with information on an issue we've been having with the brakes that GM is aware of, and will take care of. I plan to bring it in soon for that issue.

Update 10/4/21:
Shortly after my initial review, Jared Glover reached out to me and apologized. He informed me that there was a miscommunication regarding C8 pricing. Jim Glover Chevrolet intends to honor MSRP pricing for those customers that had originally been placed on their wait list.

It is extremely nice to see a business honor their initial word, especially after miscommunication has occurred. I will update this review again if anything should change, but I don't expect that it will.

Initial review:
I communicated with Rob Melone at Jim Glover Chevrolet in October 2020. During that conversation, Rob informed me that his dealership was selling the C8 Corvette at MSRP. As such, I was added to the dealership's list for future C8 orders. After patiently waiting for nearly a year, I received an email from Rob in August 2021 stating that the dealership was now adding a $10,000 dealership fee for all C8 Stingray orders. While I certainly understand the supply and demand issues applicable to all dealerships (both for Corvette and globally due to Covid), your word should be worth something. For other perspective vehicle purchasers, I would be extremely hesitant to deal with Rob Melone or Jim Glover Chevrolet. I certainly would take their word with a grain of salt. They seem to value the bottom line above all else. Caveat emptor.

I am in the car business myself and deal with car ...

I am in the car business myself and deal with car people all day long. So I can be skeptical and I feel I am a good judge on how a customer should be treated in a car buying situation. I was not disappointed!! I was very impressed from start to finish with my experience! They took the vehicle to my house so my wife who is also a mother of 6 could test drive it. Then I was able to do the whole transaction on my phone while I was working. Then the finance manager called me and went over options and was very fair and forthcoming with my rate, options, etc. I felt like he understood me as a car guy and treated me like a friend. Kerstin was very patient with my work schedule and took care of my wife fully! Thank you Glover Family for treating me like family!!

Update!!! So apparently this salesperson completel...

Update!!! So apparently this salesperson completely lied to us all the way around about the vehicle that was being delivered on the truck and was to be brand new. The vehicle we had to wait for was a loaner vehicle and was waiting for the person to bring it back. We were told that we were getting a brand new vehicle that had a power lift gate, remote start, and heated seats. The vehicle they tried to give us had none of those options and was not a brand new vehicle. It had not even been detailed as promised or filled with gas as promised. We were promised by the manager that they would work to find us a vehicle. We were then called by Kristen Glover about a week later and she vowed to make it right and find us a vehicle. This was over a month ago and no one from Jim Glover Chevrolet has contacted us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Seems like the management has a problem with telling the truth as does its employees. We have since purchased a brand new Honda from Honda of Muskogee and I am in love with the vehicle and service from there. The below statement is the review I left when we left there expecting to get our new vehicle in 2 days!
Sarah was amazing. She worked very hard to get us into a new car. We have bought several cars in the past and Sarah was the very best we have ever dealt with! Very friendly and professional!

Dishonest buyer. Don t try to sell your car to Jim glover. I went to sell my car to Jim glover Chevy. They made me an offer. We agreed to the offer. They came back and said they found a door ding so they were going knock off 300 bucks. They were aware of door ding when they made the original deal. Where I m from when you say you got a deal it s a deal. They have proven they want to do business in a dishonest manner. They have lost my business. I went next door and made a deal. I will buying the replacement vehicle from the lot next door.

The preapproval and the buying experience was awes...

The preapproval and the buying experience was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. But it wasn t until I got home and a day later had I realized the car purchased had actually been wrecked. We did shop in the dark. And I did ask for a Carfax report but got sidetracked and never asked for it again. I never would ve purchased a car that had been wrecked. But they are working on it right now and trying to make it right. However I m still very disappointed. We have purchased only from Jim Glover the last several cars. Just goes to show it s all business and as a consumer you have to fight for yourself.

Victoria was the most helpful person I've had the pleasure of communicating with at a dealership. All the questions we threw at her were answered promptly. All the information we needed to make the right selection was provided in a polite, respectful and expedient manner. Definitely making our next purchase here after I hand my truck off to my son...if he earns it!
