Outstanding venue that is all outdoors and the seats within the stadium are covered. Unless you re in the grassy pit area, which is not. Everything was great about this experience. The food and drinks are expensive, it s best to go with a refillable Jiffy Lube Live cup (purchased from vendors) if you plan on drinking more than one soda. The cup can be brought back for another visit and can be used unlimited. Leaving the venue was relatively easy, considering the amount of people/cars.

DC area traffic sucks.

DC area traffic sucks.
That's a given. That said;
Locating a 25,000 seat venue with one feeder road leading in. What could go wrong?
It's located 1.5 miles from the highway. That distance will take over an hour to drive!.
If I ever went again, if have an Uber drop me off on the highway and walk the rest of the way!

No better or worse than other summer sheds.
Great video screens, which you'll need if you seats are not in the middle sections. Even down front. It's just To wide.
Sound was great for Dead and Co.
Pricey like all live Nation / ticket Master operated venues theses days.

And then there was the parking....
It was a nightmare both entering and leaving.
It took over 90 minutes to get out of the lot after the show!
And almost as long to get into then before the show.

Great place for concerts, wheelchair seats very good location right up front. You need to leave time for getting out to this venue and for parking. If you have a handicap placard or plates, the accessible parking is extensive and gets VIP treatment. Don't pay extra for parking if you have handicap plates or placard. Those in VA with placards, make sure you bring that ID from DMV they give you that goes along with the placard because the police and attendants ask you for it. The restrooms are built in and not urinals and are clean. Drinks and food are expensive, but I'm sure it's how they make money. The acoustics are great. It was just very hot for my concert this time. So dress accordingly. Getting out will take some time. Just be patient and observe the one car in courtesy for merging cars and everyone will be routed to 66 from various traffic patterns they have. I saw Imagine Dragons there this time and my pics are from the front section accessible seats

Great venue for a concert. I love the lawn seats because you can still get a great show without paying an arm and a leg. We brought our own lawn chairs and had a great time with it. Saw Ozzy Osbourne with Stone Sour here for the No More Tours 2 show. Awesome show.

We went out for the Dave Matthews concert. Our friends had lawn tickets. I was surprised how big it was. we were on the very front edge of the grass and you could barely see the performers.

We also scheduled an Uber for the ride back. That was a hot mess. Probably only go there again if we get free tickets and transportation, like a limo.

It is nice coming here. there's a lot of room to walk around and I recommend lawn seats! there was a 40 min delay due to lightning so no encores but that was the only bad part. we also had no traffic going in which is rare. it did feel like 108 degrees so that may have kept some people at home
